When Bella opened her eyes again, she realized that she was no longer where she had been, she had been moved into a tiny room and it had been shut from the outside, the room was dark and her heart raced in fear, she was claustrophobic.
"No! They can't do this to me" she murmured as tears flowed down her cheeks and she struggled to breathe, "no!no!no! Please" she kept chanting as she banged on the door agitatedly, "Please, open the door" she begged and her breath hitched when she got no response from the other side, she slid to the ground and crawled to a corner of the room, folding herself into a ball, she started counting, "1...2...3..."
Her mind flashed back to when Ben, her aunt's husband used to lock her in a dark room for hours, she could hear the mice in the dark coming for her feet and she would scream and beg for her aunty to save her but even her aunt is scared of her husband and she would only tell Bella to bear with her husband. She would tell Bella to close her eyes and count one to one hundred, that way, it wouldn't be too scary and the method had worked for Bella. Each time her uncle would lock her up, she would start counting and the time would fly past but that didn't stop her fear of enclosed dark space.
When Jeremy came into her life, she was naive about love and knew nothing about it, she craved for love because she had never felt loved her entire life and was happy when someone as handsome as Jeremy had approached her, she had felt he would liberate her from her uncle if he finally gets married to her, hence, she did everything to please him, never for once had she thought of going against him but he took advantage of her loyalty and posted her nudes on the internet.
Her aunt was the person sending her to college from the little trade she was doing and even at that, Ben wasn't too happy about it and had tried for her aunty to stop but that was one thing her aunt was determined to do for her, make her have at least a college degree but Jeremy had ruined that for her.
She rocked herself back and forth with tears streaming down her cheeks as started counting all over again when she had counted to one hundred but the door was still locked. Her heart kept calling to Nikolai Klaus to save her, was she too rash in her decision to leave him? Now she'll die without telling him how much she loves him and how much she wants him in her life, if she is given a second chance, she will use it to show him how much he means to her.
The door suddenly slid open and someone walked in, she quickly rushed towards the door, "Get me out of here!" She screamed but she was pushed back violently, she fell at the feet of her captor and pleaded, "Please, get me out of here, don't lock me in" she begged
"Now, this is fun to watch," her captor said with amusement and Bella stilled, that voice, she knew that voice, her head jerked up to stare at him and she came face to face with Nicholas Calvin.
She snatched her hands away from his feet and slowly stood up, "you? Why would you kidnap me, I haven't done anything to you"
"You haven't, but your husband has" he replied with a chuckle, "now, I get to know that you are claustrophobic, the more, the merrier"
Bella flinched at his words, "You will kidnap your son's wife just to get what you want? What kind of a father are you?" She asked angrily
Nicholas Calvin's hand wrapped around her neck, "I can do plenty of things to you" he said his gaze roaming her body, "and then kill you"
Bella tried to jerk away from his touch but his hands were tight around her throat, "let me go" she wheezed and he laughed as he released her, "Daniel won't come for me, he doesn't care about me, you are just wasting your time"
"I assure you that he will and when I collect what was mine that he took, I'll gladly kill the both of you"
Bella gasped at his cruel words, she knew that Daniel was just an illegitimate son but to hate his flesh and blood like this was appalling
"You are not fit to be called a father" she replied and earned a slap from him, she fell on the floor and blood slid out from the corner of her mouth
"Now, beg to be saved, beg your husband to come and get you," he said and Bella noticed that the camera was now fixed on her, they wanted to send a video of her begging to Daniel, but she won't do that
She shook her head stubbornly and got another slap from him, tears flowed from her eyes and slowly, she stared at the camera
"Daniel, I'm so sorry, I regret my decision, please, don't look for me, I only want you to know that I..." She received another slap that had her sprawling on the floor and the video section ended
"You asked him not to come? Let's see if you will not regret that decision" Calvin said furiously and stomped out, shutting the door behind him and leaving her alone in the dark once again.

"I have a feeling that something is wrong boss, I can't seem to find Bella anywhere"
Daniel sat up on his bed and his eyes narrowed, "where could she have gone?" He asked just as his phone beeped, "I have got a message" he opened his phone and frowned at a video from an unknown sender, clicking on it, his stomach fell at the video of Bella, hands and feet tied receiving slaps from his father
"Daniel, I'm so sorry, I regret my decision, please, don't look for me, I only want you to know that I..." her soft voice rang out and he clenched his fist
His phone rang and he quickly picked up the call, "I always knew that you didn't die from that shoot out, I hope you like my video"
"Nicholas Calvin..." Daniel clenched out, he felt sick to even refer to him as "father" so opt to use his father's name instead, "I will kill you if you hurt her"
His father's laughter rang from the other end, "if you want to see her alive, bring me that pen drive...you have 72 hours" his father warned and then the line went dead
Daniel flung his phone across the wall, "he has her, he fucking has my wife" he clenched out, staring at Aaron
"We'll get her back boss" Aaron replied, feeling agitated, if not for Bella's stubbornness this would not have happened but of course, that was his thoughts and he dared not voice them out.
Daniel's eyes grew so cold that even Aaron shivered, Nikolai Klaus is a dangerous man to go against and he wouldn't want to be in Nicholas Calvin's shoes right now
"Get this fucking tubes off from my body, I have things to do" Daniel commanded
"But Boss..." Aaron started but Daniel's frigid stare froze him, "alright boss" he replied and went out to get the doctor.
Daniel knew exactly what to do, he had an ace up his sleeves and that would stop his father forever. His father would pay for daring to lay his hands on Bella.
