Bella stared at her reflection in the mirror as she applied deep red lipstick. She admired her looks once more, she had always known that she was beautiful but today, her gaze radiated bliss and satisfaction, a woman who is happy in her marriage. She was wearing a strapless gold-colored mid-thigh gown that clung to her skin like a second skin, her hair fell on her back as she put a finishing touch to her dressing by putting on a red gold necklace and matching earrings. Today, she has a dinner date with Daniel and she wants to dress elegantly and sexy for him, she blushed when she imagined his reaction to seeing her all dolled up.
She put on her red high heels decorated with gold beneath and a matching purse just as she heard the sound of his car outside.
She hurried out of her room and he stopped at the bottom of the stairs when he saw her, his gaze was awed and filled with a feral lust that sent butterflies squirming in her stomach, he looked like a man starved and she was the meal. A blush crept up her cheeks and she slowly started her descent towards him.
His eyes never left hers and his looks grew hungrier with every step of hers.
He was wearing a tuxedo and to Bella, he was the most handsome man on the surface of the earth, liquid pooled in between her thighs and she wished that they would just forget about their date and eat each other at home instead
"A penny for your thoughts," he said when she got to the bottom of the stairs
"Two pennies for yours" she replied as she took his offered arms
"You look stunning Mrs Calvin, I feel like devouring you right away" Her face colored at his words
"You look charming Mr Calvin, if good looks were a sin, that could be you" she replied, flirting with him right back and he threw his head back and laughed
"I can't believe that my precious little shy wife is teasing me"
"At least, I can say that I've learned a thing from you" she replied as they both walked out of the house, looking like the perfect couple they were while the maids looked at them with smiles on their faces.
"Did you carry your wallet?" Bella asked as they stood in front of a five-star hotel. She remembered their last incident and couldn't resist asking
"Yes, do you want me to show it to you?" He asked with his tone filled with amusement, of course, he knew why she was asking and strangely, he loved her even more for it.
Bella stared at the hotel and she could not help but think that a place like this would cost a fortune, even though she was aware of Daniel's net worth, still, spending money lavishly wasn't her style
"Isn't this place too expensive? Money should not be spent so lavishly"
I love to lavish my money on you" he replied and offered her his arms, still, she hesitated
"You can help others with your money you know, build a foundation or something"
"Are we going to discuss this while standing outside a hotel?" He asked and she sighed, he was right about that but she would definitely bring up the topic again with him.
She placed her hand in his arms and followed him into the building.
There was not a single soul in the building and she wondered why such an esteemed building would not have customers in it.
She followed Daniel to a spot where he had made for them and her mouth hung open, the light in this part was dim and candles were lit everywhere giving off a romantic setting
"This is beautiful" she mumbled and jerked when the sound of music reached her ears, Daniel had called someone to sing for them, she never knew that her husband was this romantic
"Let's dance" he whispered into her ears and placed one hand on the small of her waist while the other intertwined with her fingers and together they moved to the rhythm of the music.
The music ended with a lovely note and Daniel went on one knee and gave her a single rose
"Flowers for my queen," he said and she felt her insides go mushy as she accepted the rose flower
"This is beautiful, thank you," she said as she placed a kiss on his lips
He led her to a chair and waved off the singer,
"I hope you are having a good time," he said as the server approached them with a series of continental dishes
"Are you kidding me? I love every moment spent with you"
He smiled as he opened the drink and poured them some wine, "where is everyone, why are we the only ones here?" She asked as it occurred to her once more that apart from the people serving her and Daniel, no one else was here
"Nikolai Klaus is coming here with his wife and you think he'd allow people to be here?"
"I bet it's your doing" she smirked
"And I know you love it"
"Well, I don't have a choice but to love it, everything is so perfect " she replied as she took a sip of her wine, enjoying this moment with him.
Time flew by and they lost track of it in each other's company as they ate and dined. They cracked jokes and laughed at each other's silly jokes and when their dinner date was over, they held each other's hand and walked out of the building. "I can't wait to get home so that I can devour you," Daniel said and she smiled
From across the building, she saw someone selling candy floss and she felt like getting some, it was her favorite sweet tooth past time when she was a little
"I'll be back shortly," she told Daniel and proceeded to cross the street to get it while Daniel went to his car to get it started
"How much is this?" She asked
"Just a few coins" the seller replied and Bella's heart dived, she knew that voice, even in her sleep she could recognize that voice anywhere, her eyes jerked to the seller's face who had removed the candy floss from in front of him and the blood drained from her face
"Hello sweetheart," the voice said
"Jeremy" she manages to choke out before turning on her heels.

"Dad, see the newspaper a friend gave me"
Jesse, Bella's cousin said with his voice filled with excitement
"What is good about your friend giving you papers" Ben asked
"This one contains a picture of Bella, she is married and it seems like it's to a very rich man"
Aunt Christine paled and Ben snatched the paper away from his son and stared at it
"At least, she has the sense to marry a very rich dude, it will solve the whole of our family problem"
"What are you saying, Ben? You are not planning to go there are you?"
"Of course I am, it's high time that slut pays us back for taking care of her all those years" Ben replied as he whistled in joy, the news has just given him excitement, "I'll be keeping this," he told his son as he sauntered away.
Pretty soon, he will have to pay her a visit together with his wife, what is the use of having a rich son-in-law if you cannot eat from him? Of course, he can consider Bella's husband his son-in-law because, in the absence of her parents, he and his wife are her guardian, hence, acting as parents and are eligible to eat from her husband.
