Dear William.
My son, I write this letter to you with a heavy heart. I write this letter with tears of pain and sorrow. It torments me not knowing how you are? How your family is? Of course you send me a letter each passing year but I'm afraid that's not enough. I wish to see you in the flesh, to hold you and laugh like we used to. You will always be my little boy... Everyone is here. All your sisters and half siblings. Trying to spend as much as time together with your father. He has lived his life and is almost at a point where he shall depart from the living. We all ought to be there. You as well, my son. To spend our last days together as a family like the good old days. Your father misses you to the bone even though C̶h̶r̶i̶s̶t̶i̶a̶n̶ ̶m̶a̶k̶e̶s̶ ̶h̶i̶m̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶g̶e̶t̶ ̶
I want to meet your little girl, she must be big by now. I miss Liam as well, he must be all grown. Can't say the same about your wife, although I will love her for your sake. We may have gotten off the wrong foot. If you don't see your father in his last days, you might from there live on with a heavy heart full of regret. We miss you dearly and we want you home even if it is just for these tough moments.
You will always be a Gallagher and believe it or not. Your brothers miss you very much. They talk about you an awful lot. Reminiscing your childhood. Please return home William. If this is about the girl then I will have you know that she is no longer a girl. She is a woman now. A woman with priorities and that she will not bother you at all. She should be the least of your worries infact she never even questions much about your disappearance. I promised myself I would not include her in this letter but I hope it brings you at ease. Knowing that Panashe has matured and has no desire to be involved in foolery.
She works hard and minds her own. She will not bother you nor will she bother your wife. Please come home, that is all I ask. You're the missing piece in this family reunion and it would mean the world to not only me but to your father and you siblings if you returned.
I am not asking you to return permanently. I'm simply asking you to come visit for a little while. Regardless, I love you with a full heart. You have never disappointed me, I trust you won't. May this letter find you well.
