He heard the voice quite alright, but looking around him, and seeing no one, he began to think it must be one of those times, when he imagines things.
"Am I dreaming? He asked himself, after wiping his eyes, then she spoke up.
"Over here". That was a confirmation that he wasn't imagining things, he got up and went outside, only to find her, on a hat, looking down like she came for war, she wouldn't even look up at him.
"Oh Tangy! He met her half way and hugged her tightly.
I never thought I would see you again". He added, and wiped a tear off his eyes.
"Are you crying? She asked.
"Yes I am, I cannot act strong anymore, they are going to kill you and that is all my fault, I should have listened to you. It is all my fault". Tangy blinked her eyes severally, trying to hold the tears, that is about dropping on her cheek, but she couldn't, her heart was heavy with emotions. She had blamed her father at some point, but looking at how broken he is and taking the blame for her actions, she couldn't blame him anymore.
"I tried to love him, but I did it the wrong way, I should have listened to the Queen". Was all she could say, as she allowed herself to cry, and he held her in his arms.
"You don't have to say anything, and I promise you, they won't get you, I will ....
"That is not your choice dad, I have made my choice, I am going to turn myself in, I need to pay for my sins".
"You don't need to do anything, it wasn't your fault. You told me you didn't want the new Alpha, but I never listened to you, and Leo... He didn't know what to say.
"I know you don't like Leo".
"And Leo is such a wonderful man, he loves you sincerely".
"Yes he does, he is the one that have been hiding me at his grandmother's house, but I cannot continue to hide, there is real danger coming, and if I have to sacrifice my life, to stop that danger, then I will".
Now her father seem interested.
"What sort of Danger?
"Jayden is going to wake the dead, but he needs to be stopped, because if he does, he will unleash so many spirits, dangerous ones, and they will destroy the entire Demini.
The human will destroy Demini, she will become too powerful, nothing will be able to stop her".
"I don't think turning yourself in will stop him?
"yes, I have heard that one before, but I don't need much, I just need to get close to the palace, I need to speak with the Queen, she is smart and wise, she will know what to do and that is not all, there is more". She says and paused, she doesn't know how telling her father about Astra would sound, but she still feels she needed to tell another person, Incase, something happened to her.
"What is it?
"Astra, the witch, she is planning to destroy Demini with Mogana. They need to be stopped, she needs to leave the palace, so that we can focus on dealing with one.
If they are both there, they will just fold their arms and watch Demini destroyed, that is the plan from the unset".
"Why will Mogana want to destroy Demini, I thought she loves The King?
"Exactly for the love she has for the king, she will destroy the kingdom, so that, when everything and everyone is destroyed, and the lands have been taken over by Barthur his twin brother, she will come as a helper to king Arthur, and take him to her kingdom, all she wants, is for then to be together, and she is willing to do anything". Her father nodded.
"Things we do for love".
She nodded too, he was getting her point.
"That is why I need to leave, we need to plan fast, this wasn't an easy one for me, but I had to make a tough decision, but Incase anything happens to me, just know it that I love you, and I would always love you. All I wanted, was to make you.... proud". She didn't finish her last statement, before the door to the living room which she also didn't close when she walked in was kicked open, and the palace guards walked in, she didn't scream, neither did her father, she just brought out her hand so they could hold her by the hand and lead her away, but when the guards were trying to be rough with her, she had to pause.
"I didn't argue with you guys, I am going to follow you, so let's do that in a civil way. shall we?
They didn't know when they nodded in agreement and then walked gently, as if walking her to the alter, to be married.
Her father watch her, in silence of his heart, but the tears started forming around his eyes, he couldn't handle it, he followed them in his carriage, to the palace, he needed to know what would happen to his daughter.
Villagers followed them, as soon as they found out that she is the one that is being dragged to the palace, they even have a song for her, but she didn't feel bad about it all, she was just a step, to helping them all, they are going to understand soon.
Words got to the palace that Tangy have been captured and they all came outside, it was like they were waiting for the moon goddess to come down.
As soon as she got to the palace, she was pushed down, so she goes on her knees, her hair fell to the front, covering her face from seeing anything other than the floor Infront of her. Jayden walked to her, dragged her by the head, with a knife in his hand and is about to cut off her throat, when her father stopped him.
"Please give her some time to repent from her sins, she has the right to be tried too, she has the right to be heard, please do not take that away from her, she is my only child, give me some time to spend with her, before you take her away".
Astra didn't like such a request, she doesn't even want Tangy to have a say at all, and she decided that if Jayden wouldn't kill her, then she will kill her, by herself.
