He knew he had gotten the right blood, but he still have his fears, about the outcome of the ritual. They needed him to be himself, so that they could a great Wolf standing as guard for Demini, but he really wants to loose all that power, given to him by the gods, just for a woman?
"Now that the bloods are here, from all 21 lands, what do I do next?
"We cannot do anything tonight, we will continue tomorrow, and that is when you will loose all your powers". He said that to remind him again, Incase he wants to change his mind about going ahead with what is happening.
"Yes I know I will loose all my powers, I can already feel them leaving me, so when can we start the next phase of the ritual, you said she will be buried, and stay in the tomb for three nights, before she will be dug up again, we don't have time to waste, we need to start". Sodom is shocked as to how prepared he is, so he just had to accept, and since he remembers everything he said, he would have to go on with the plan.
"Fine, if you still want to have it done this night, you will have to get her, so that we could go together, to bury her".
"That shouldn't be a problem, I will get her immediately ". He left Sodom, and within seconds he was seen by his father, carrying Blair out of the glass tomb, where she still looks as beautiful as always, it was like she was sleeping.
He tries to transport with her, but he couldn't, he haven't even performed the sacrifice yet, and he was already loosing power, what if he doesn't have enough power to bring her back to life. He would have loved to transport, so that his father doesn't try to stop him again, not like he will stop him anyways, but since transporting wasn't working, he would have to use the carriage, or walk, through the dark night.
"Son, this is insane, please stop". Arthur tries again, but he didn't even look at him, he just commanded a guard to drive the carriage, while he stayed behind with Blair, staring into her closed eyes, admiring the structure of her face, he could stare at her all day long, he wondered what is so hard in understanding that they couldn't stop him, he couldn't be stopped, not when he has finished with the first part of the ritual, did they think getting blood from powerful screamer in the entire 21 lands was easy? He couldn't stop now, it was too late, if he would stop, he would had stopped earlier, but since he didn't want to stop, he just had to continue, then wait for the outcome.
After a long ride, they got to Sodom's shrine and together, they left to bury her, Sodom only raised his walking stick up to the skies, and they transported to the place.
"Why couldn't I transport before? He asked".
"The energy of what we are about to do, is already draining some of your powers, and that is how it will continue, until you channel it all into a gem, then you will be completely drained". He knew it wouldn't change his mind, but it was the truth, even a baby wolf, will be more powerful than Jayden, after the ritual".
It was only the guard that had driven the carriage that was with them, so he was made to dig up the ground, for her to be buried.
"You are going to do this all by yourself, so no one blames us tomorrow ". Sodom says, then he tells him to pour the blood on her, before she is lowered down to the ground, which he did, he poured the blood on her, then he used it to rub around her body, as if he was creaming her, then he was lowered down, the guard was no longer allowed to cover the grave, so Jayden had to do it, he covered the grave, before he finishes, he had started sweating, then they started making their way back home, to come back after three night, when everything will be over, and he could have her again in his arms.
He thought of Mrs Fire, and how she must be feeling, he had promised her that though he is now a werewolf, he would still visit every month, but it is more than three month since their daughter had been dead, and all he had been doing since he got back from the mountain cave was look for a way to bring her back to life, if he had known, he wouldn't have left her.
They were still walking, and Jayden was beginning to wonder, when they would transport, he kept looking at Sodom to raise his walking stick but he didn't do that, so he had to ask him.
"Are we going to walk home?
"Yes, after such a ritual, you cannot transport, else, you might unleash a wrong energy". Jayden didn't want to hear that anything goes wrong, he nodded, that if transporting, would unleash something bad, then, it is better, he walks, after all he walked before getting to mountain cave, which was one of the things that wasted his time, if he had been able to transport to the place, maybe he would still meet Blair alive.
The three night was seeming like three decades for him, he wish that while walking, he could get to the second night then the third, he was just too eager, to see Blair, since she wasn't really gone, with his blood flowing in her, even if he accepts to just burt her like that, she would still remain beautiful.
As soon as they started approaching the palace, Jayden felt happy, for he was tired, he had never felt so tired, but having his brain think of a lot of things at the same time, he was tired, he needed to rest. He decided to pass through the back gate, which will first take him to the dungeon, where they house prisoners, that way, no one would see him, he just wants to avoid his father and the Queen, until after everything, but as he walked past the dungeon, he heard the voice of Astra, she was with Tangy, and they were talking about what happened to Blair.
