It was only when his hands touched her breast, that she realized that she was doing the wrong thing.
"No, Leo we can't do this". She gently pushed him away, while trying to arrange her dress back into form.
"I know you want to be made whole, why not allow me? She nodded her head.
"That is not what I want. You belong to someone else now, and I have to fight for my own man". He refused, nodding his head, as he moves closer to her.
"You belongs to me, the goddess is wrong, she made a mistake, chosing Meldine for me, I don't love her, and she doesn't love me too". He went on his knees, but she moved back, which made him stand to his feet. He just wants to be close to her, while they converse, so he knows, if she is paying attention to him or not.
"You forget that it doesn't work like that. When it comes to the case of werewolves, we don't have to be inlove, before we are mated. Most times, you may think you are inlove with someone, but then the goddess will choose someone else for you, a d you will have to learn to love that person, just like it was with you and me. Just the way it happened with King Arthur and Mogana and so many others that we know".
"But that is wrong. The goddess keep people in perpetual mystery. Can't you see?
Just take for instance, You are chosen for Jayden, and he doesn't love you, and from what I can see, you are just forcing yourself in him. Did you have to beg him to make love to you here? That should be something that should come naturally. That man is inlove with the human, he could never fall for you". That was a bitter truth, she didn't want to hear.
"I think you need to leave now. We both had a history together, and it would be bad for our reputation of anyone sees us together, so I will advise you leave this minute before I accuse you of assault".
"Tangy, we can change our fate, we can get back together, we can be happy again, just the way we use to be. I never allow you cry, I never make you cry, and I never wish to make you cry. Going away was not my wish, and I regret listening to the goddess even till now. I regret listening to you. I haven't been happy since then, and you too have not been happy. Her father would be so disappointed in her, if he ever learns that she is even speaking with Leo. She had been too inlove with him, and she would have been willing to do just anything for him, but then, they were not meant to be together. She learnt about his mate even before him. It would be disrespectful to the goddess if they go against her.
"Leo, I know you understand better, we cannot do this, so please do not stress it any further, just go". She pleaded. He stared long at her, waiting for her to change her mind, but she didn't even look at him.
"I will go, but you have to tell me one thing first? She looked up at him, and asked.

"The moments we shared, did they mean anything to you? She didn't expect that he would ask her such a question.

"And the kiss now, the one we just shared a moment ago, did you feel anything? That one, she wouldn't answer. If she tells him how she truely felt about the kiss, he may never leave, so it was best, she says nothing.
"All this questions are pointless Leo. Jayden is one I must be with, and Meldine is the one that you must be with, all we need to do is find one way or the other, to be happy in our predicaments".
"Now that I know that what I feel is what you feel, and what I am going through, is what you are also going through, then I am sorry, I cannot let you be. I will come after you with everything I have, and if I have to curse the goddess for her to understand that she had done something wrong to me, then I will do it, but as for leaving you? I won't do that, I will work harder, until you realize that this is our life and we must live it". He didn't wait for her to react, he just spoke and walked out of the room, and just outside the door, he found Jayden, walking back in. If Jayden hadn't seen him, he would have tried to dodge, but Jayden had already seen him.
He walked, shoulders high towards Jayden, who also walked fiercely towards him.
Leo wanted to have a fight with him, for making Tangy cry, but there was no point, he couldn't beat him to a fight, even if they were to get into a fight, so he just, looked angrily into his eyes and says, with a resilient tone.
"A true king, would never, let his woman cry like that. I am ashamed to call you our future king". Jayden haven't seen anyone that blunt with him, but before he could even realize what was happening, Leo was far gone. He rushed inside, and found Tangy, wiping her tears, and that was when he did what she had expected him to do earlier.
"Get up, let's go back to the hall! He commanded. She wanted to refuse, but he pulled her up forcefully, dragged her by the arm, as he led her out of the magical hole.
This is the last time I tell you something and you disobey my orders". He added.
Who was that guy anyway? Tangy became scared, she doesn't know how much he heard, but she was not going to give him any details.
"He is my cousin. You don't know a lot of the pack members yet, with time you will get to know all of them". That was the best she could come up with, and it seem to work, for Jayden didn't ask any more question, he just led her by the hand, as they both walk back to the hall.
On her way back, she felt his eyes on her again. He was following them, he had been following them, and she prays that Jayden, doesn't start suspecting anything soon.
They got to the hall, and the party was still on, as if nothing happened. Jayden was about to lead her to her formal seat, when her father again stopped them.
"Can I borrow my daughter for a few minutes? She only had to stare into his eyes, to know that, he knows about Leo. She gently followed him behind, scared that she wouldn't like what he is about to share with her.
