She left the palace, and went through a meadow, down to an unknown land, still in her invisible state. When she saw that she was alone, she bent down, picked sands from the floor, blew it in the air, and she came back to her being.
"Barthur! She screamed the first time, looking around the place, more like trying to know where he would come out from.
Barthur! She screamed again, and just like the first time, everywhere was just quiet, she then, screamed with her entire being.
"BARTHUR!!!
With that loud, hard scream, Barthur appeared Infront of her.
He looked angrily at her, he surely didn't like the fact that she had to summon him, when he was trailing Jayden.
He still had the wounds he incurred while fighting Jayden, and he is just wondering, how it is possible, that Jayden, is so powerful. He wasn't even able to get a blow at him.
"Why did you bring me here?
"They are planning to get rid of me. As we speak, the entire pack is looking for me. What do I do now?
"Is that why you summoned me? He asked, looking even more angry.
" We had a deal, so I can summon you, whenever I like? She retorted, but he yelled back.
"We had a deal, and I had done my own part of the deal. You wanted Marinara out of the way, and now she is, you just need to work on them, so that they can keep you in Demini". She jerked as he screamed at her.
"What are you doing now? She asked him calmly, as he turned back to leave.
"I am trailing your son, he is on his way to the mountain cave, I cannot let him reach there, I need to stop him, and just so you know, even if he will loose his life in the process, I wouldn't mind ending his life".
"He is too powerful for you, you cannot do him harm". She boasted, which made him laugh.
"You showed me how to delay his healing, . If I can hurt him, and he is injured, your blood will be needed to treat him, then imagine, what will happen, when he is on a lonely cave, and you are so far away? He laughed hysterically.
"Hurting him was not part of the plan, you said you wanted to conquer Demini, he is my son, you know I cannot allow you hurt him right? She says, while he laughed.
"You cannot stop me dear, so it is pointless to want to try". He says and disappeared.
"I should have known better than to make a deal with the devil". She cursed.
She couldn't follow him, for she knows that there is no way, he would be able to destroy her son.
She went back to the palace, with a plan of her own, on her way, she started sobbing, as if something had happened, so when she was seen by the pack, they couldn't give her the message, until she got to the house, it was Tangy, that was able to tell her that the king, wanted to see her.
Tangy didn't expect to see anyone weeping shamelessly, especially someone of such status, but not like she cared, her Queen have been turned to stone, she was not happy. She was about to go back to her room and moan, when she saw Leon again, he had been around, still looking for a way to have a word with her, she remembered the words of her father, though he isn't around, and no one could see her with Leon now, she needs to still be very careful.
He was hiding behind a tree, and calling on to her. At first she didn't want to go, but on a second thought, she changed her mind, and went to him, pulling him by the hand to a more safer place.
"What is wrong with you? She asked him, with her hands akimbo.
Are you trying to get me into trouble or something? The other time, Jayden saw you, and that would have cost me my place here, but you just had to, and now again, you are following me around. There are so many persons here, that do not need to see you, if they do, they will talk, and yet, you keep showing off.
"I am sorry my love, but I just cannot go back home, I love you, and I want you, please understand". She raised a brow and was about to say a word, but she could only shake her head.
"You are really something Leo, I have told you that I cannot be with you, go back to your wife and children, they need you more". She says, and is about to leave, when he pulled her back.
"Tell me that, when I kissed you earlier, you didn't feel anything? Tangy couldn't answer that, for she would be lying to herself and to him too.
"That doesn't mean anything. What I feel doesn't mean anything, what matters, is what happens now". He shook his head in disagreement.
"You are my love, you have always been my love, and there is something else, I heard, why I wanted to see you, it is the truth about all this mate, I will only tell you, if you promise to come to the oak tree". That was usually their secret spot when they were still together, but she couldn't go there, that place is no longer a secret place for them, it was now too open.
"This place is secret enough, tell me what you know". She snapped.
"I won't tell you here, there are too many dangerous persons here, like you said, but I will tell you, when you come to the oak tree".
"But that place is too open, someone might see us". He thought hard about what she said, maybe he had forgotten that their status had changed.
"Alright, can you come to my house then.
I mean my family house? She shook her head.
"I can't come to your family house, you grand mother is going to be there".
"She has been turned to stone. Barthur landed there first, and she was slow to shape change, before he turned her".
"And you are saying it in such a casual tone, no emotions whatsoever.
"That is part of what I am going to tell you, when you come. I am glad she is stone, for she is one of the reasons, I am in this mess". He says, and without entertaining more questions from her, he walked away.
It was strange, even for Tangy, for she knows that he used to adore his grandmother, so for him to safe, he doesn't care about her, it was indeed surprising.
Maybe she should go to him anyways, she will go to him, to hear what he has to say, and what he thinks he knows, that should be of great interest to her.
She walked back into the palace, to see what fate awaits, Mogana.
