Chapter 20 – Katharina Point of view
After we arrived at the pack, Zeus and I are not talking. I can't look at him in the eyes. The Queen greeted us with Candice on her side. she told us that dinner is ready and we should join them. Glancing at Zeus, he just nods at the Queen and I mimic him.
I go straight to my room and change my clothes to jeans and shirt. Nothing is special to do some effort in dressing.
I arrive at the dining room. Candice was sitting next to Zeus, that's why I sit next to Tyler. A low growl came from Zeus but I didn't bother myself to look at him. He allowed that girl to sit in my chair then I will sit wherever I want.
I look at Tyler who's smirking at me. He really enjoy watching Me and Kayden fight.
"Hey Kath, how's your swim in the river?" Tyler.
"Great, I love the clearings and the river. Next time let's go camp there and have a barbecue party with the others." I recommended.
"That's a great idea Katharina, since you need to introduce yourself to the others.It's a nice way to get close to others and know them personally." The Queen said but slightly looking into Candice way.
"That will be greet my Queen. We used to do that in my father's pack." I said.
"Speaking about your family, your father requested to be reunited with you in his pack. Your birthday is coming and he doesn't want to miss it." The Queen said.
"Really? I'm going to see them?" I can't hide the excitement building in my heart. Ever since my father acted that way towards me, we never celebrate my birthday in the pack. I was told to stay inside and he just give me gifts and cake.
"You're not a prisoner here. In the next full moon, you will be mated with Zeus and you will be the new Queen, so from now on call me Mother or Ele." She said smiling at me.
"Ele for now." I said smiling at her. "Can I go with Tyler?" I said. Maybe he can find his mate there.
"Sure you ca----"
"I'm coming with you." Zeus cut her words.
"That's nice of you Son, but still Tyler will accompany both of you." She said.
"I want to come too, can I Ze?" Candice.
So, the Bitch got an endearment nickname for my mate.
Zeus look at me and he is asking for permission. I raise my eyebrow to him. What the hell? Why would I like to take that little rat in my birthday?
"I think it's okay for Kath to bring you with her." The Queen breaks the silence.
"It's my honor Ele." I said, smiling to the Queen. Saving Zeus from the silent battle we have because of that Girl.
"Thanks Kath." Candice said while holding my mate hand.
"Ele can I go now, I lost my appetite. I will rest now." I said.
"Are you sick?" The Queen
Yes I'm sick staring at that rat next to Zeus. I said to myself.
Queen Ele and Zeus laugh that makes everyone look at them. I forgot that they can hear my thoughts.
"I think so. I need to go." But before I leave, I grab the grapes and apples in the table.
Tyler chuckles at my action but I silence him, putting few pieces of grapes in his mouth. He almost choked that makes me laugh hard.
"Bitch." Tyler said.
I stick my tongue out to him and leave them without looking into Zeus.
I go straight to my room and check my phone. We don't usually used it since we can communicate through pack link, but now I am no longer in any pack but into the Kingdom.
I dialed my brother's phone number.
'Kath, thank God you call. I want to tell you something.' He said
'What is it? You seem very excited.' I said.
'I found my mate; her name is Charm. I want you to meet her.' Sam.
'That's great brother, I'll be there on my birthday.'
'That's good. I tell Dad.' He said.
'Okay Sam, tell Dad I love him and I see him soon.' I said.
'I will, take care little Kath. Love you'
'I love you too' I said before the door open.
The fresh forest mint invaded the room. I end the call button and look into his silver eyes.
"Who are you talking? And why are you saying I love you to that person?" Zeus.
"I don't know that you have spying ears." I said.
"Answer the god damn question!" He shouted.
"Don't shout at me. I'm talking to my brother!" I said.
He looks calm, knowing that it's my brother.
"What are you doing here Zeus? Are you not busy with your ex down stairs?"
"Stop that Kath, she's nothing to me, just a friend and part of this kingdom." He said.
"Oh? So, childhood friends that become ex-lovers. Interesting." I said. Getting into the bathroom.
"Where are you going?" Zeus.
"Can't you see? Bathroom." I said closing the door behind me.
This relationship is really getting complicated. I can sense Zeus outside the door. What will happen if he enters this room. I take off my clothes and open the shower. The hot water calms my nerves. I look at the door when it suddenly open.
I look into his silver eyes. He walks inside the bathroom naked. I watch his every moves until he reaches the shower beside me.
"Zeus, what are you doing?" I said looking into his body that starting become wet by the water. The room seems become hotter because of his presence showing all his naked glory.
"What do you think?" Then he smirks.
"Don't show that smirk to me Zeus. I can't do this with you." I said trying to get out of the shower but he holds my waist. The tingling sensation start to flow inside my body.
"I told you I will continue what we left in the river." He said.
He started to touch my back up to my neck and face. He kisses me slowly, savoring every second we have together. Then his lips leave mine and started to kiss my jawline down to my neck. A moan started to escape in my mouth.
"Zeus" I said.
He nips my collarbone where he will put his mark soon.
"It's very hard to resist not taking you now, but I will wait until I mark you. Now, let's just enjoy this moment." He said. Pulling me up into his waist. I put my legs in his waist and pull him closer to me. I can feel his little monster poking my belly. The smell of my arousal fills the room. He turns of the shower and kiss me in my lips. His hands travel into my breast and then he leaves my lips and started to play my nipples.
A moan continues to escape in my mouth until we heard Tyler in our mind.
'Rouges in the west boarders' He said. Bringing us to the reality.
But Zeus keep caressing me and started to touch my sensitive part.
"Zeus, we need to stop." I said catching my breath.
"Tyler can take care of it." He said biting my lips once again.
'Zeus, they killed all the guards. We are outnumbered.' Tyler said.
"That's it! Let's go." I push him off me and run into the room. I started putting clothes when I see him behind me already fully dressed.
"What are you doing Katharina?"
"We need to hurry Zeus. Let's go." I said when I finally finished putting clothes.
"You can't go. I will not let you." He said.
"Don't try to stop me now Zeus, because I will not let you." I said passing behind him.
He follows me and we run fast into the woods. A smell of metallic pour into my nose. I see Tyler fighting three wolves at a time. In just one swift I turn into my white wolf and join him, hitting the one who's in his back.
'Kath, what are you doing here?' Tyler said using the mind link.
'Shut up and fight. How many are they?' I ask.
'Twenty but now maybe they are ten.' He said.
'I look at Zeus and saw his big black wolf tearing the throats of his enemy. Four rouges are on his side. He easily kills them but at the back of him I saw a glint of something. Someone is in the woods holding gun. Before I can think, I run as fast as I can and cover Zeus body from the shot. A loud gunshot erupted in the quite forest.
A sting started to fill my bodies. Silver! I said before I black out. Tyler and Zeus run into my side back in their human form.
"Find the one who did this.... NOW!" His power radiated in the field but I decided to take the darkness.
