Chapter 30

I'm still following Markus wolf who is running for an hour now. I am trying to get hold of him but he is faster than I thought. I made a mistake twenty-five years ago and I will not turn my back again this time. He suffers a lot because of me. I want to apologize and I want us to make amends.
I keep running until he stops. He's now at the top of the cliff looking at me. I look into his beautiful sea eyes.
Is he going to jump? I asked myself.
I started to shift in my human form.
"Markus no!!! Please don't do this." I shouted while climbing naked in the cliff. "I know I made a mistake turning my back on you and I'm sorry... I can't see you dying back then, I can't I just can’t. I don't know that you're still alive. I feel our bond broken. I thought I lost you."
He looks at me and slowly shift back to his human form.
"Ele" he said.
It took all my breath away. Hearing my name once again in my mates lips. Even I married Arthur, I treasure in my heart what I feel when I first met Markus.
"I'm sorry Markus, I thought that you're going to die and I can't stand watching you." I said.
He pulls me in his arms and that takes all to bring us back to where we are before my father tried to kill him. The sparks once again ignite in our body to the point that we are both naked.
"I miss you Ele, I'm sorry I did all of this." He said.
I don't believe he is behind all of this.
"I don't believe that you are behind all of this, but I know you are one of them." I said still hugging him.
He pulls me closer. "But I know what's Duren plan and I didn't stop him, I just let him do what he wanted and let used my pack." He said.
"You're not capable back then, you lost me and you think that I left you. I can talk to my son about it, he will understand." I said.
"Are you going to be with me now Ele?" He asks.
I smile to him and pulled him for a kiss. He kisses back with the same passion and hunger that I give. He knows the answer. I can't leave him again and in two days Kath will take over the my position. Arthur is now living with his true mate. I think we can discuss about this when I got back to the kingdom.
"I can't leave you again Markus, I will talk to Zeus about this, right now... go and fix this pack once again. Be the Alpha they loved before. Duren is now dead, they need their true Alpha back." I said while touching his face, tracing all the patterns that I missed for twenty-five years.
"You know touching me like this will not help the situation that we are both naked Ele." He said.
Even in this age I still blush in front of my mate.
He laughs at me. I pulled him down and sit in the cliff looking in the sky... I want to thank the Moon Goddess for giving us another opportunity.
"Ele look.... Arthur bite mark is gone." He was shocked as well as I am.
I touch my neck where his mark was imprinted but it's really gone. It means that Arthur broke the bond, he is the only one who can do that because he is a royal. He gave me my freedom.
"Arthur broke the bond." I said not believing in what's happening.
"Finally, he made the right decision in his life." Markus said kissing my neck. "Now you are mine again." He said before biting me, putting his claim on me. The pain comes and after a little moment it changes to a more electrifying spark in our body.
"You marked me." I said not believing that he just does it just like that.
"Why? Don't you want it?" Markus.
"No but at least just warn me before marking me. Never though your such an asshole Markus." I said standing and walking away again but not because I'm afraid but because I hate what he has done.
"Hey Ele... come on don't do this. I'm sorry." He said.
"You just don't bite a girl just like that. You need to court me first Markus." I said pushing him away but he pulls me closer to him.
I know we're to old for that but I never experienced that in my life.
"I never thought that it's important to you. We are now fifty years old Ele and you're acting like you are eighteen. Look at me...." he looked me in the eyes and kiss me on my cheek. "I can court you every day until the end of our life, but I can't let you walk away with me unmark. My wolf can't stop himself marking you." He said.
I look at him and then my son shouting inside my head.
'Mom where the hell are you? Zeus said using our link.
'I'm fine son, just talking to an old friend.' I said.
'Old friend or old mate? Mom I know everything, just come home so we can talk about this.' Zeus said.
''Can I bring Markus back? He needs to talk to you.' I ask.
'WHAT THE HELL? DID YOU HAVE SEX WITH HIM ALREADY? ' Zeus shouted in my head. I almost laugh back to him but I know Markus is watching me, he might feel that I am talking to someone.
'ZEUS ROYALS IF YOU SHOUT AT ME AGAIN I SWEAR I'M GOING TO TEAR YOUR BALLS OUT. I'm coming home alone because Markus will fix his pack but after that he is going to talk to you and one more thing son... he marks me.' After I said that I end the conversation and put a wall, blocking everyone in my head.
"So... who is it?" Markus.
"I need to go home now Markus, but I call me after you fixed your pack. I'm going to talk to my son." I said before kissing him and shifted to my wolf form.
He just stands there look at me until I'm out of his sight. We need to fix both sides before we actually settled down.
Finally, all of this ended in a nice way.
Soon everyone will be happy.
