Faith's POV
I smiled after Yul left me, and looked at the other side of the road where Kate is hiding for quite too long. I never expected this would work as well.
Kate's my partner in crime of all time! We share each other's likes and dislikes. That's the reason why we both share Yul's body at different timeframes in our lives. However, we didn't get mad at each other, not even once just because of some random guy.
I walk through here and check the footage she's been holding onto.
"I did my job and made myself look like a pathetic girl just for you and that Cygnus, huh? Now, where's my payment?" I asked while watching the footage.
She rolled her eyes and opened her backpack. She took the money from her purse and immediately gave me my paycheck.
"Here, you hasty stupid girl," she said. I pull her hair slightly 'cause what she said got through my ears!
"Whatever."
After a while, a car stopped in front of us. I recognized it as soon as the person inside open up the window.
"Hey, both of you, hop in," he said, and we did what he asked.
"Oh god, Cygnus, look at your face! Did Yul do this to you?" Kate asked. Cygnus looked away and released Kate's hands from his cheeks.
"Just focus on your work," he said. Kate got irritated so she just divert her attention to her tablet to finalize the picture of Yul together with me.
"We're ready," Kate said.
"Okay, good work. Now, publicly upload it. Make sure that everyone will reach the posts. If boosting it needs a price, just tell me," he said and Kate responded as quickly as possible.
"Are you guys always like this? Always ready to humiliate her? She's kind of amazing, though," I said.
Yes, I said we shared our likes and dislikes, however, not about Stacey. She's kind of an innocent girl who wouldn't dare to step into people's lives just to get hers into a much more comfortable situation. I've known her because of them, but I'm the only one who sees her differently.
Does Cygnus like him? Or he's just butthurt 'cause Stacey couldn't like him?
"Could you shut up, bitch? Just for once, will 'ya? And please, don't you ever compliment her again in front of my face. You're giving me thoughts that you're not on my side," she said and rolled her eyes.
We're not kind of a typical friendship, 'cause, in the first place, we never treated ourselves like that.
Just partner in crime.
"It's showtime," Kate said.
Cygnus stopped the car to check the posts, and so did I.
OMG! The number of viewers is increasing like a bolt of lightning and thunder!
Now, I'm getting worried about her. F*ck this mind...
Yul's POV
My tears couldn't help themselves to flow continuously.
"How could you do this to me? Is he the one you like all along? Is that the reason why you couldn't say anything when I said I liked you?" I said.
I have driven Cygnus away after punching him really hard directly on his eyes and nose, and I made sure that blood will come out from it.
"No, it's not what you're thinking. Please, listen to me, just once. It's unintentional. I didn't kiss him, he did!"
"And you? You didn't even bother to push him? Or you just waited until I caught you stabbing me from behind?!" I asked and she looked directly into my eyes.
"How could you not trust me? Am I not trustworthy for you? Do you think I will betray you? Is that how you think of me"
"F*ck your drama! HAH! Answering my questions with questions? And tell me you're innocent?"
She just kept her eyes locked on mine. I shouted and started to break things.
I punch the wall continuously until blood came out, and my fist would feel numb.
"Stop it, please! Don't---"
"STOP HOLDING ME!" I snap her arms that had been clinging to mine.
"Why can't you believe me?"
"SHOULD I? Are you gonna ask me the same question all day? Okay, now, WHY won't you just explain everything to me? You know, I can be easily swayed for I've already caught my feelings for you! Yet, you're not doing anything!"
"I'm afraid of you, don't shout and stay calm, Yul Matthew. I was also attacked..." she said.
I can feel her tears, she's holding them back with all her strength. She's not even letting me notice it, but she's not good at it.
"Would that make things easier? By being afraid of releasing your thoughts?" I asked.
"Just... stay calm. That's all I asked."
"Why can't you even create a story to calm me?" He pushed me, I couldn't move, "He assaulted me', is that too hard for you to say?" I asked.
"Just stay here: hidden with your sister and brother. I couldn't afford to see your face for the next whole day."
I stormed away and went back home, to our mansion.
Yuno's POV
"Make sure to turn the system before anyone from the opponents come and sees it. LEAVE NO TRACE!" I said to all of the black hat hackers I assigned to delete the spreading video where my son's face is clearly showing! Not even blurred.
"Yes, copy that, sir!" he said.
Calling Yul...
"Yes, Dad?"
"What have you done, you idiot? You're the one who's giving me headaches instead of your wife!" I shouted while he just sighed from his line.
"Come on, Dad. I'm not in my mood right now to fight with you. Can we just reschedule it for the other day?" he said and my ears got boiled up!
"Do I even ask if you're in your mood?! You're ruining my whole reputation, and the effort of our ancestors to keep this company stays clean!"
"Could you just tell me what happened? I might appreciate it, Dad," he asked.
I sighed.
