Yuno's POV
"Look at them, having a really good time together. How can I ruin my son's precious moment?" I said to Leo, owner of Helius company.
He's the private investigator I hired to know the background of Stacey.
"You have to consider your company going at stake. Will you take the consequences of getting bankrupt?" he said.
"Let's just go home and talk about this there," I said.
We happened to see my son with Stacey going to the hospital while laughing together.
They look very content with each other and happily together. This was not my plan, but I guess I made my son happy than he will ever be. I'd never seen that smile for so long since his mother left.
I'm happy I made him smile. It's the least I can ever do for him.
"Just stop right there, Yuno," he said and I quickly respond to it. It looked like an abandoned building, but this is where he said he resides.
"What is this place?"
"This is the place where I will going to own you," he said. I looked at him, puzzled.
"Own me?"
"You will be my puppet."
"What are you talking about?" I asked.
"This."
Faith's POV
Okay, I can do it.
This is the task that Cygnus has assigned me to do. Psh! How could I even seduce him again, when I'm pregnant?
Do I have to do this? Do I need to go?
Come on, mind!
I keep on coming back and forth to their mansion and the other street. Argh!
"You're making me dizzy."
I almost jumped in fear! What the heck is he doing here? In the middle of the night? My goodness!
I bow my head to just go on my way and leave the mansion. I don't want to do the plan anymore. It's totally awkward now! When he called for me again.
"Why do you keep on coming back here?" he asked.
I came closer to him. Yul's aura is so dark today. Like he had a grudge against me. Was it because of my pregnancy?
He grabs my collar 'cause I'm not answering his question.
But he just let it go right away. Looks like he realized that something's off with what he's doing.
"Leave and never come back here," he said and turned around.
"I did some laboratory testing..." I said to catch his attention and I luckily succeed.
"You can conduct a DNA test soon. I'm about to give birth this month," I continued talking.
He suddenly walked towards me with a troubled look.
"Have you been protecting the child?" he asked, and I just nodded in response.
"How about you? Are you okay? Protecting yourself?" he asked again.
I smiled secretly.
So he cared for me?
Gosh! He's still sly just like before.
"I'm great."
He suddenly touches my belly and feel the baby that's living inside my body for almost nine months now. He's enjoying the feeling.
And he's kinda enjoying watching!
"Do you want to eat something?" he asked.
I nodded with a smile on my face.
You know, I'm not really that bad at all. I also have a heart, okay? I'm just being played by Destiny. And in order to catch up, I have to play really wild too.
That's why I'm doing this. I have no choice at all.
If only being poor and rich is a choice.
I'm fearless by design. But I can also be weak sometimes. And this is my weakness; I can easily be swayed to become a minion.
Stacey's POV
"We can control cancer to stop it from spreading but it will take a bunch of money, Ms. Yutengco. Can you handle 120,000 every 21 days, for six sessions?" the doctor said and my jaw dropped, my eyes widened, and I almost pee at this position.
D*mn it!
I can't believe the price!
"U-Uhm, how about the bill as of now? May I know?" I asked while scratching my nails.
I just wished God will help me and fill my wallet with a bunch of money like a miracle.
"To sum it all up, including today's bill, it's 500,000," she said.
MY GOODNESS! My mouth was open wide. I can't believe this would happen.
Luckily, I save all the money that Yul has been sending me. But if I used it, there will be no money left for me to pay for her chemotherapy.
When I was about to open my bag and pay the cashier, a doctor bumped into me.
"S-sorry, doc. I'm really sorry. I didn't see you coming," I said and kept on bowing.
"Is that you? Stacey?"c
"H-Harry? It's you again! What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I'm the CEO of this company, and I'm also a doctor here. So it's not a surprise why I'm here. It's my profession. How about you, why are you here?" he said and smiled sweetly.
Sh*t! Their gang was really born with a silver spoon in their mouth. They never experienced being poor and struggling is not in their dictionary.
I wonder if they had a problem even at least once about where to spend their money 'cause it's overflowing already. It's just so good to imagine.
"Hey? Are you still listening?" he asked and I came back from my daydreaming.
George, get your sh*t together!
"Yes, I am! Uhm, I'm actually paying the bill to my mother. She's been admitted to your hospital 2 weeks ago and her room is quite expensive," I said.
Without saying a word, he immediately took out his cheque paper and sign it. He asked the cashier what is the total amount of the bill and he wrote it right and then.
"What did you just do?" I asked.
"I paid for it. Now, you have no problem but giving Yul a child. See you around, gorgeous!" he said and walked like a cool man.
So full of himself!
I bid goodbye to the cashier and left.
