My Hostess Wife Chapter 34

Cygnus' POV

"Why?!" I asked.

"They're f*cking," she simply said with an evil smile on her face.

I almost slapped my sister 'cause of what I heard!

"The h*ll, Faith! You should've told me this sooner before you leave!" I shouted. I'm vexed right now! I could beat her on the spot.

"Then what? She'll not be hurt and I won't be this happy, Kuya. Can't you see? It's meant to happen!" she said.

I just groaned out of irritation. Even if I mumble here the whole day, nothing will change so let it slide.

I took my things and stepped outside to see if it was not yet too late and I could still catch her. But this girl is truly persistent.

"Hey! Don't leave! Let her go!" she said while pulling my arms.

Gosh! I can't stand her so I pushed her to the floor with my full force. She's too persistent.

Whilst driving, I'm wishing I can still reach her outside his condo.

But I'm not yet driving that far when I saw his car. I know it's his car 'cause it's unique and his plate number is easy to remember.

As he reached the hospital, I jumped out of my car, waited for George to be picked up by the assigned nurses, and grabbed Yul outside.

"Why do you keep interfering, man?!" he asked.

His appearance is not very snappy at the moment. I bet he ran and randomly picked his coat right now.

"Where's that f*cking Kate?!" I asked while grabbing his collar.

"Kate?" he uttered and looked away while remembering what happened.

As soon as he realized it, he punched the wall until his fist spat blood.

"You deserve the blood," I uttered.

His eyes were so mad that I almost imagine blood from it. The h*ck!

"Where are you going?" I asked when he started to walk away.

"Cygnus, please, just for one day, be my brother," he said.

"Then just for one day, MAN UP!" I replied.

Now, I caught his attention. He fixed his posture now.

"Am I not?" he asked.

"Do you think, George will rush to the hospital if you're being a good man? You can't be a responsible husband! If so, just give up on her and file an annulment," I firmly said.

"You have no right to dictate my decisions," he said.

"AND YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO HURT HER!" I shouted.

I'm not planning to take George's heart back again. All I want right now is her freedom from this bastard's game.

"Stop judging me. You know nothing," he said sincerely.

"No, I don't need to know everything to understand you or George. All I need is my eyes. This is my last warning. If something bad happens to George, you'll know your place," I said and stepped forward to leave.

"

He should know his rightful place.

Stacey's POV

The doctor did a good job. I'm feeling a little good now after they injected something from a strange bottle.

"Just rest here for a day and then you can go home, Ms. Yutengco," said the nurse. I nodded in answer and went back to lying down on my bed.

Although it might seem strange and unusual, my asthma did save me from that moment.

I don't know how to react after seeing them in one bed, f*cking. Like he didn't admit his feelings. It's just absurd.

I heard the door open so I closed my eyes to pretend. Gosh! I don't want visitors, come one.

"Hey..." I can only hear him, yet I recognize who he is.

It's Harry.

We're not that close, but why is he always acting like he has to be so concerned about me? Psh.

"Are you asleep?" he asked.

Is he always like this? Asking a sleeping person?

Duh!

He sighed.

"I hope I can buy time and chance to tell you something you should know even before. I'm just happy you're, safe and sound," he said.

I heard his footsteps walking away so I began breathing normally. It's kinda suffocating being with him in the same room.

I was about to sit and stretch myself but the door suddenly opened again so I went back to bed. My gosh, when will people get tired?! I want this to end and rest peacefully!

"I saw you don't pretend anymore," he said.

I opened my left eye a little bit so that he won't notice, but I failed. As soon as I open it, a snap in my eyes is awarded by this b*stard, so I can't help but sit up and get back to him.

"You sh*thead!" I said and continued cursing and hitting him on his arm until I got tired.

All those energies I released to him were converted into tears. It wasn't his fault that I'm hurting, I just assumed his words that he liked me. I thought he was telling the truth.

"How could you act as if nothing happened? Like you're an innocent man?" I asked, bursting into tears.

I'm starting to feel suffocated again. It's so hard to breathe. I don't want to see him.

My heart is pounding so fast. But this time, I know my asthma would not attack just like what happened in his condo. I've been holding back for too long and believing him. I ignored the possibility that he might be duping me.

Yet, rumors were true.

He sat beside me and forced me to hug him. But I'm not letting him.

"Let me go! Please! Just let go!" I said while crying.

We continued in that situation until I saw Yul. He's also drowning in tears.

I became calm 'cause of his situation. I hate myself.

How could I still care for him after all?

Finally, I let him hug me.

"I'm sorry, my wife," he uttered.

I couldn't help myself.

I released myself from his hug and awarded a kiss of my hand to his cheeks.

"Don't call me your wife if you'll act like a single man," I said and turned my back on him, but he didn't let me.

He pulled me up and intertwined our fingers.

"I didn't mean it. Please believe me!"

"And what if it happened again next time? You didn't mean it again and again? For how many times will you use your lame excuses, Yul Matthew? Is that how easy you think I am?" I said.

"You don't understand. I have—"
