The sound on a broken plate was heard across the room. Two maids stood frightened to the core as they dared not to say a word.
" You both are nothing but incompetent pieces of trash, I gave a simple order and here you are making a fool out of yourself, are you mad? How did my father employ you two, humans oh human they make me sick " Alice yelled on the top of her voice, as she was trying so hard to keep her emotions in check the only thing that could save her right now was if her father came back with good news aside that she just felt like killing these fools it wasn't so knew to her , she had killed some of these worthless servants before now but this time she was hoping she get a good news from her father that will make her happy.
" Now get out of my sight or am going to snap your neck with my bare hands' ' immediately she said those words to the two maids, they quickly ran out of the room without waiting for her to repeat herself again. Alice continued mumbling words to herself, when suddenly she heard felt her fathers presence so she quickly got up and then rushed out of her room like a flash. She appeared at the sitting room just when beta Jacob and kane stepped in.
" Father, how was the meeting, has he agreed to the marriage proposal " beta Jacob and kane didn't say a word rather Alice noticed that kane was growling in pain. She quickly rushed up to him and held his hand.
" Brother, what happened? " asked Alice she has never seen Kane in sure a state before, she knew kane was a strong wolf but with the way he was acting right now, it felt as if something bad happened.
" why aren't you guys talking about what the hell happened over at the pack no one is saying anything to me and this is really making me upset father you know what I can do when I am upset?" Asked Alice as she couldn't control her anger anymore beta Jacob stood up from the couch and then walked towards the wine stand to pour himself a glass of whiskey, he took a sip from up and then placed the glass cup back on the table before looking at his curious daughter.
" Everything was going just as planned until Bernard showed up, that stubborn wolf has decided to take the human as his mate, he looked straight into my eyes and told me he wasn't going to make you his luna Alice, he has chosen the human mate " beta Jacob growled in anger as he slammed the glass cup on wall causing everyone in the room to hold their breath in fear." I have never been this humiliated before in my entire season of existence but today this boy made me look like a fool in the presence of my clan, I simply should have killed him the same way I killed his father ahh…i have waited for so long to get to this position I am right now but this human girl want to make this difficult for me, I think it's better I put her in her place so that Bernard will have no other option but to come back to Alice " said Beta Jacob as he growled in anger.
Alice on the other hand couldn't control herself; rather she burst into laughter, " hahaha… father look again I have been ridiculed what is too much for him not to understand, I love him and his treating me like a piece of trash for what exactly, a human ahhh…father this is the height of it, I think I will have kill her once and for all.
Kane who had been growling in pain after the impact of the fall he received from Bernard, turned to look at Alice" it's not as easy as you think Alice stop being stupid and think before you act Bernard will kill you if anything happens to his her
Alice laughed at kane's words and then held his hand.`` You seem to underestimate me brother,I know that Bernard doesn't joke with his things he values the most, I also know his a monster so don't worry, I will simply have to use his weakness against him and his going to come running back to me. That's a promise. " Alice was sure that her plans was going to work smoothly, but still she wasn't sure if everything was going to go just as she had planned, because with the way Bernard turned down the marriage proposal, she was sure that Bernard already knew about their plans.
" Father, why don't we team up with the other pack to wage a war against our pack with that, you can use it to your advantage no one I repeat no one will want a weak luna, to lead the war, I was supposed to lead them to war father as your daughter and also a beta but if I don't get the title of being a luna then I will.make sure the moonlight pack crumbles to the ground.
Alice wasn't ready to back down now it was either she gets what she wants or she makes everyone suffer the worst fate .she stood up and walked out of them, when she got into her room, she quietly shut the door and then screamed out loud in anger .she grabbed all her cosmetics on the dressing table and then threw it on the ground." Kane and beta Jacob heard Alice screaming from her room but they didn't say a word rather beta Jacob helped kane to his room, with the way kane was brutally wounded, it felt as if his limb was broken when beta Jacob was done fixing kane in his room, he left and then he brought out his phone to call a number.
It rang twice before the person on the other end picked up the call.
" I don't have time for pleasantries so I'm going to go straight to the point I need you to find out about someone from what I heard she's Alpha Bernard's mate, you already know what I mean? " the person from the other end of the phone listened carefully without saying a word, when he was talking he disconnected the call and then took last sip from the glass of whiskey before smiling at himself .
