Bernard woke up the next morning staring down at the woman on his bed, the more he tried to forget about Olivia the more he ended up thinking about her, but it seems things weren't going as planned.
" My lord, someone is here to see you " a female voice brought him back to reality, he stood up from his king -sized chair and then walked out of his room, when he arrived, an old man bowed his head to free him.
" My lord, you didn't inform us of your visit, " said Lucifer, keeping his head bowed to the ground. Bernard smirked at his words and then turned to look at him.
" Why are you here Lucifer, your visits had never been good ones so right now you don't have to beat around the bush and go straight to the point " Said Bernard as he wasn't in the mood to crack jokes with this man.
Lucifer quickly cleared his throat to speak up " My lord am aware that you have bluntly refused the Alliance between yourself and beta Jacob's daughter, but all the same, I will propose you get a luna from another neighboring pack what do you think my lord" Bernard already knew what Lucifer was trying to say, just like his name goes Lucifer is a very manipulative person who can do anything to get what he wants, but again he also plays a great roll in the battle against their enemies, but again Bernard wasn't going to feel so cheaply for their trap.

Lucifer noticed that Bernard wasn't listening to what he was saying so he quickly cleared his throat and called out to Bernard " My lord, is anything the matter, u have been trying to get your attention on this matter, if you have decided to make your human mate as the luna our lack, then you should speculate about what will happen if beta Jacob join forces with that black moon pack, this wouldn't end well for us my lord " immediately Bernard heard those words, he snapped his eyes at Lucifer who was already terrifying with the look on Bernard's face so he quickly bowed his head again.
" Am sorry my lord, if I spoke out of tongues but this is the truth, moonlight pack had been known to be one of the strongest packs, but ever since the death of your parents and your absence things had changed from bad to worse .you are not always around it always stock up with the human world so I please with you to think wisely my lord." Bernard silently listened to everything Lucifer said then a huge smile appeared on his lips this got a little Lucifer more terrified.
" Do you have a problem with the choice I made Lucifer?" Bernard was waiting to hear just one word from him before sending him to his ancestors but Lucifer quickly read the handwriting on the wall and then he quickly changed the subject.
" Not at all my lord, how can I ever speak badly about our luna? " said Lucifer as he was trying his best not to get himself into trouble. Bernard smirked at his words and then sat on his king-sized chair.
I believe you don't have anything else to say Lucifer, I have important matters to take care of so you can now take your leave " Lucifer was left dumbfounded, he turned to leave, but his legs seemed glued to a spot, Bernard noticed this and then spoke out.
" Is anything the matter Lucifer "? Asked Bernard as he continued staring at the cunny man who thought he could scheme his way into the alpha's heart.
" Please my lord, I beg you to reconsider our request please " finally the fool spoke out his mind.
" So they sent you right.. Interesting " Bernard stood up from his king-sized chair, and like a flash, he appeared in front of Lucifer. For a moment, Lucifer was stunned that he almost lost his balance.
" I will tell you this here and now, and I hope you listen attentively. You will return to them and tell them I said that I Bernard the alpha of the moonlight pack will not mate with any other woman except my Luna I have chosen and they should be prepared to welcome her because very soon I will bring her here and she will sit by my side not only as Luna also the mother of my children. I told you he wasn't going to agree to this I told you, Jacob couldn't hold back his anger anymore, he continued walking to and fro in the hallway as the other council kept whispering among themselves, Lucifer stood in a corner of the room, listening to their conversation without saying a word.
" Come on Jacob, how sure is he rejected, we all know that Lucifer can be dubious sometimes, just as his name implies you should have sent someone else, not Lucifer '' said one of the elders he had once been betrayed by Lucifer. On hearing this Lucifer wasn't happy at all so he decided to vent his anger on him.
" Maybe you should watch your tongue, I wasn't ready to go on an errand like this but you all forced me into it, why didn't you go to him, you wanted him to come back to the pack, and now he was back you all are complaining, I feel his better off in the human world than giving us a heart attack here.
The council started mumbling within themselves, Jacob on the other hand couldn't hold back his anger, rather he yelled at the council. " Can you all be quiet, do you know the gravity of this whole drama, the moonlight pack will be in danger if word gets out that the Alpha has chosen a human as his mate " Jacob clenched his fist as he looked out of the window with rage in his eyes. Suddenly one of the councils spoke out again.
"Rumor has it that he had already mates her, what are we supposed to do about that? " said the council with a furrow on his face.
" I think the best way is to get rid of this human mate, what do you think about that Jacob," said one of the oldest council members, immediately Jacob heard these words, and a bright smile appeared on his face. He turned to look at the council cosmos and then smiled at him.
" I have thought about this for a very long time now, but I think this is the best idea, to save myself and my daughter from this shame, the human will have to pay the price, for trying to come between us.
They all agreed and sought out a plan to get rid of the human, but little Olivia knew what was going after her.
