"Father, I finally got someone to do the job," said Alice as she stepped into the mansion. She couldn't hold back her excitement, she was the manipulative type who tried to get everything to her advantage. Her father knew that she had done something to get someone to do the job but right now all he wanted was to get the human out of the way.
" Tell me, my dear child, who is ready to risk his or her life for this job," said Jacob as he couldn't hold back the pleasure, he felt in his heart, he was so happy that finally, Bernard's human mate was going to be out of his way for good.
" Don't worry yourself about anything father, everything has been taken care of. All you need to do is to relax and enjoy the event as it unfolds." Said, Alice. She pecked her father and then walked upstairs to her room to prepare for her next magazine shoot.
Jacob couldn't help but sigh at his daughter's stupidity. he knew Alice was one of the most brutal and strongest female wolves, but then everyone had their weak point, her thinking mentality sometimes was questioned by her father.

He watched his daughter leave the house and then, he let out a sigh, wore his glasses, and continued reading through the newspaper in his hands.
Alice drove out of their mansion and then decided to stop at Bernard's company before going to her magazine shoot. She packed her car at the packing slot and then walked into the skyscraper building. Immediately she stepped in, she became the center of attraction, everyone in the hallway couldn't stop staring at her, and some of them took out their phone to take a picture of the model, Alice couldn't stop blushing with the praise she was receiving from all of them, she took the private elevator and then arrived at Bernards office.
When she arrived, she met Bernard's secretary, who was sitting at the front desk.
" Where is boss," asked Alice, Bernard's secretary already knew the kind of person Alice was, she knew that this model had only a beautiful face, but her attitude was nothing to write home about, in other not to get into her bad book, she quickly smiled at Alice and then greeted her politely.
"Good afternoon ma, so sorry but my boss is in a meeting and he wouldn't want to entertain visitors…'' Before she could finish her statement, Alice walked past her and then walked into Bernard's office. Bernard's secretary couldn't do anything but panic, she knew that Bernard had warned her countless times never to let anyone into his private space without his permission. But then this woman wasn't going to listen.
The meeting ended a few minutes later, and then Bernard and his assistant headed towards his office, but then his secretary stopped him.
" Excuse me, sir, please I like to inform you about " before his secretary could finish, he turned to his assistant and then said to him.
" I will be visiting the first city hospital today, make sure you cancel all my schedules." Said Bernard, as he turned around, and then walked into his office. But immediately he stepped in, he knew just then that someone was there waiting for him, he could distinguish her scene from the others, he mumbled her name, and like a flash, he appeared right in front of her.
" What are you doing in my office?" Asked Bernard as he kept staring at Alice with disdain, Alice sneered at his words and then walked towards him.
" Bernard, Bernard! I didn't know you missed me this much or is the human dead already? " asked Alice as she couldn't shake off the feeling of killing Olivia. Bernard knew what she was talking about, but decided not to show his weakness in front of her.
" What are you doing here?" Asked Bernard Again as he wasn't in the mood for her silly jokes at this moment all Bernard wanted to do was to rip Alice's head from her body, but on second thought, he hadn't gotten enough evidence to do so.
" Well, I wanted to see my Alpha, and know how he is doing, since I am going to be your Luna very soon, I should show more concern about you, don't you think so Bernard, or perhaps you should start getting used to calling me your wife. I think that's what humans call it right? " said Alice as she couldn't hold back her laughter.
Bernard wasn't surprised that beta Jacobs's daughter was desperate, because he knew that was the only thing they were good at, but then again, she wasn't going to let this little butterfly play the mind game on him.
" You are already, calling yourself my luna, and hope you know I need to mark you as once before you go around parading yourself as luna, oh yes before I forget you mentioned something about my mates being dead you should know that nothing is going to happen to her and I will revise you to watch your back you shouldn't try anything stupid because you're not going to like the outcome of it or I won't hesitate to crush you and your entire household." Bernard's words got to Alice and she stared blankly at Bernard. She couldn't help but burst into tears.
" Why her? I have sacrificed a lot for our pack. I've done everything to prove myself worthy to be you will luna why did you choose her over me she isn't even that beautiful look at Bernard am I not that beautiful to be your Lana why did you choose her over me tell me why? " Alice Lost her cool at this she yelled at the top of her voice sending everything on the desk crashing to the ground.
Then she pointed her index finger at Bernard " I Alice Jacob the first and the only daughter of beta Jacob vow on my life this day I will stop at nothing to make sure I kill her that's a promise " Alice picked up her bag and turned to leave, but then Bernard stopped her.
" You should mind what you say Alice" suddenly the atmosphere around them changed drastically making Alice Quiver in fear, Alice forgot so soon as it was Bernard she was talking to, like a flash of lightning, she was sent flying across the room. Alice slammed her back against the wall, her wolf howling in pain, she couldn't believe that Bernard was going to treat her this way, but right now all she wanted to do was to leave her alive first.
" How dare you?" Bernard was furious, the only thought he had in his head right now was to kill Alice, he knew he needed to start teaching this traitor a lesson. but for now, it was best to start with this one. Alice struggled to stand on her feet, but it seems her legs were glued to a spot.
" Please Bernard, am sorry I said what I said out of anger please " Alice continued to plead, she just realise that coming to Bernard's office was a mistake she knew that she wasn't going to get out of his office alive Bernard stood in front of her and then smirked at her words.
" I have been longing to kill an offspring of beta Jacob and it shouldn't be a problem if I start with you," said Bernard as he continued to smile at Alice for some reason. Alice was scared for her life she
knew Bernard was brutal, but she hasn't seen it with her own eyes. She crawled towards the door trying to escape but then Bernard appeared in front of her, Alice already knew that at this point she was going to escape his wrath.
On second thought, Bernard decided to let her go, because he wasn't going to kill her just yet, he was saving her for the last, he knew he was going to kill Alice, but he wanted her to be used as an example to the rest of the pack.
Immediately Alice noticed, that Bernard wasn't stopping her from leaving, she quickly took the opportunity and then rushed out of Bernard's office.
Warehouse….
"Please let me go, I was only doing what my master instructed me to do please" the young man cried out as he was being dragged into the deepest part of the tunnel. He continued to struggle to free himself but it seems he was powerless when it came to the person dragging him.
Beta Lucas continued to drag the young man deep into the tunnel until they arrived at a cage, he opened it and then threw the young man into the cage. The young man tried to stand on his feet, but it seems he was badly injured, his wolf howled in pain as he kept looking for a way to escape but still, he couldn't so he was led back to the ground.
Bernard arrived at the warehouse and then walked into the dark tunnel. When he finally arrived in a room, beta Lucas gave him a chair and then quickly went to fetch the prisoner.
The young man couldn't stop struggling as he was dragged again out of the cage and was forced to kneel in front of Bernard.
Bernard had always known, the young wolf was sent by scar to spy on him, so he wasn't going to waste much time discussing this issue.
" Why are you here?" Asked Bernard, as he wasn't in the mood for jokes. For some reason, a part of him missed Olivia so much, it was as if he was finding it very difficult to breathe. He lazily sat on the kingking-sizedir and stared blankly at the young man, who was already shivering at his presence.
" Am sorry Alpha Bernard, I didn't know I was sent to spy on you, please I will tell you everything you need to know please stare at my life ". You, man, couldn't help but plead for his life, because he knew he wasn't going to leave this place in one piece.
The next question Bernard asked him, left him speechless.
" What's your name?" The young man was left in shock, he didn't know what to say but then if telling Alpha Bernard his name will save his life, he was ready to do it.
" Lobo," said the young man, "he couldn't bring himself to look straight into Bernard's eye. He looked away from Bernard waiting to hear what Bernard had to say.
" Tell me everything you know about the scar and every one of his conspiracies against me, and I will let you go, but if you don't speak you are dead!" Lobo shiver at the said of Alpha Bernard's voice, he quickly bowed his head to the ground and then spoke out.
" Please I will tell you everything you need to know, as long as you spare my life please, Alpha scar asked me to watch over you and report your day-to-day activities. '' Bernard wasn't surprised that scar could go to any length to show his stupidity but then he was impressed.
" How foolish of him, it seems I have become torn on his flesh, that he now wants to monitor my every move, it seems Alpha scar is scared of me, I won't mind giving him a little gift tonight what do you think," asked Bernard as he continued staring at the young kneeling in front of him. Beta Lucas already knew what Bernard was talking about, so he quickly bowed his head, and then left the return, but when he returned, he returned with a huge box stuffed with surgical instruments.
