Xue Dili’s graduation marks not an end to his difficulties, but the commencement of an exceptionally strange weekly occurrence. Following his college exams, a startling revelation surfaces: each week, a different "Mentor Spirit" famed for "great achievements" inexplicably materializes inside him. The issue is that these are far from the sage advisors he might have anticipated. In the first week, an Undead Demon with a criminal record of immense proportions appears, prompting reflection on the nature of historical villains. Immediately after recovering from this, the second week introduces a Great Sage, characterized as a solitary deserter who abandoned his duties. The third week then presents a Hero, though this individual appears more like an impetuous, destructive squanderer of potential than a courageous champion.
