*Akhila Pov*
After Khushal dropped me I just walked away without saying any word to him. When I went inside the classroom I saw that everyone is running around talking about the party and the final preparations.
I sat at my original place and looked outside ignoring everyone. Rani and Zakeer called me to sit with them but I shook my head saying I am fine here.
I decided to tune out everything and concentrate on something else to get some peace from today's morning call.
I took out some papers and my pencil to do something thinking about the morning call yet again.
I woke up with my phone ringing. I lifted it without looking at the ID and said "Hello!"
"So finally you remember your Mom then." I heard her saying and I immediately sat up.
"Mom!" I shouted.
"Yes! Your Mom is talking with a girl who forgot to talk to her own mother for so many months." She said completely hurt.
"Mom! Nothing like that. I was.. I was just busy. Please don't think like that." I said worriedly because I don't want to hurt her.
"Then promise me that you will call me at least every week." She asked and I couldn't help but promise to her.
"Your Dad wants to talk to you." Saying that she handed the phone to my Dad.
"Akhila! How are you dear? I missed talking to you. You are taking care of yourself right." I heard him asking.
"I am fine dad. How is honeymoon going on?" I asked him trying to tease a little.
"Akhila I couldn't thank you enough for the bookings everywhere. But we are going to return home as we kind of covered all the countries." He replied.
"And we will come there to visit you all. We are missing you four so much. Everything is fine right? I talked to your sisters last week but just wanted to know from you." He added.
"Everything is fine." I mumbled.
"Wait! Let me talk to my daughter." I heard Mom shouting and she took the mobile from my Dad.
"Just take care of yourself dear. I know you will take care of your sisters more than me but don't forget about yourself. Eat properly and don't stress your eyes too much by studying. And then eat some fruits everyday ok. Just.. just take care of yourself." Mom continued saying and I just continued to let my tears fall.
"Mom! I know mom and I will. I am missing you Mom." I said with my voice cracking.
"I am also missing you Akhila. We will visit you all soon." Mom said and hanged up after sometime.
I just lay down and continued crying. I tried to wash my eyes with cold water to remove any traces that I have cried.
"That is good like really good." I heard someone saying and then I came out of my thoughts.
I turned to see Khushal sitting beside me and I looked at him in shock. He looked at me frowning and placed his finger near my cheek.
I moved back but stopped when I saw that it was my tear on his finger. I immediately brushed my tears away and looked outside again.
"I said the drawing is beautiful." He said again and I looked down confused to see that I have drawn my Mom and Dad.
"Thanks!" I said not looking at him.
"Can you do me a favor?" he asked suddenly.
"What is it?" I asked him looking at him.
"I will give you a photo. Can you draw her face in a big chart like pretty big?" he asked.
I just looked at him shocked because this is the first time he is talking completely normal and asking me some favor.
I nodded and he immediately took some photo from his wallet. Am I going to draw his girlfriend or what? I thought when I saw him taking out the photo eagerly.
I took it from him and saw the most beautiful women I have ever seen. She is like what we say.. an angel.
"She is beautiful!" I said looking at the picture.
"I know! She is my mother." He said gazing at the photo.
"I could draw even better if I see her directly." I said looking at the photo again.
"She.. she is not in this world." He said looking away.
I don't even know what to say hearing that because I never expected it. I just sat there and slowly said "She doesn't only look like an angel but also became a real angel then."
He immediately turned and just looked at me continuously until we heard the bell. We both looked away and around the class to see if anyone saw us but everyone are busy in their own world and still continued about the preparations.
"Do you want to skip today from going to the company?" He asked slowly.
"I need to go there without missing any day." I replied.
He nodded and gestured his bench saying "I will go then."
I nodded and waited for him to leave but he just sat there even when he said he will leave. I have no problem with him sitting here so I didn't say anything.
He took the fresh paper and pencil from me and drew something. I looked at it and saw some very sharp different shaped thorns in a puddle.
"Give this to your sister and say that instead of my keys she can take my keys drawing." He said giving me the paper.
"These are keys?" I asked him shocked not able to even believe what he is saying and what I am seeing.
"Yeah! Any problem?" he asked frowning.
"Nothing! Nothing at all." I replied and then again said "Nothing!"
I couldn't control myself and chuckled seeing the drawing again. He shook his head in irritation seeing me chuckling about his drawing.
"If I give this to Ritika saying these as your keys then trust me she will double her teasing." I said shaking my head.
"Whatever!" he said looking around the class.
I bit my lip to stop chuckling atleast now. He is really insane and then I felt my mobile vibrating.
I picked it up to see Di calling me. I lifted it and heard "You are right about him."
*Priya Pov*
Next day I walked inside the campus and started looking around for his car. I saw it at the end of the parking lot and started walking towards the staff room.
"Looking good!" I heard him saying and I smiled because I didn't felt any hesitation.
"You are also." I said after turning around to look at him.
"Thanks I guess." He said scratching his neck.
"You are not good with handling the compliments?" I asked him but what I actually did is I just stated it.
"I am experienced with someone cursing me like I said already or scolding me with their faces but never of compliments." He replied shrugging.
"Don't worry I will not curse you. But if the need arises my sisters will do that work instead of me." I said well assuring him.
"You are really scarring me about your sisters." He said shaking his head.
"They are sweethearts Bharghav but for their sisters they can become the devils. And I am not scarring you but just telling you." I said smiling.
He nodded smiling a little and we both walked inside the staff room to take the books we need for our first class.
"So I will meet you in the lunch break?" he asked when we have to part our ways to reach out classes.
"In the staff room?" I asked smiling.
"In the staff room." He replied.
I nodded and started walking away but he stopped me by holding my hand. He placed a small peck on my cheek and walked away.
I grinned and entered the classroom hearing lot of 'Oh..s'. I looked at them in shock but they just grinned.
"I so hate you guys sometimes." I said shaking my head.
"Now lets have a surprise test." I said looking at them.
They groaned and I just gave a stern expression saying "You guys enjoyed last week too much regarding the fresher's party right? Now enjoy the studies."
"And you guys know everything so just forget the word 'surprise test' and think it as a game where you are going to write what you know. That's all you need to do." I said smiling and they all nodded.
With that I started my surprise test and they all wrote well too. After the class I started walking away but he walked towards me.
"I thought you said we will meet in the lunch break." I said grinning.
"It is not my mistake that you can't wait and met me way before that." He said shrugging.
"Such a attitude." I said and walked towards my next class but not before pecking his cheek.
"Only cheek?" he asked when I started moving.
"You too did the same." I replied.
"Right!" he said after few seconds and I walked away smiling at him.
When there is time for the second period to start, I called Akhila because of whom I actually accepted to go for coffee with him again.
When she lifted her phone, I immediately said "You are right about him."
"So are you dating him now?" She asked after few seconds.
"I am! We even went for a date yesterday and I was amazing." I replied smiling.
"I am happy for you Di." She said.
"I know you will be Akhila." I said laughing.
"Oh shut! Did I call you in middle of the lecture? I shouldn't have done that being a lecturer myself." I said groaning.
"Relax Di! We don't have any classes today as everyone is either busy or excited for tomorrow's party." Akhila said and I relaxed.
We talked for few minutes and I hanged up saying I will talk to her later. I smiled thinking about him but then thought 'Are we moving fast?'. Nah! I don't think so but even if we are then I don't care about it until I am happy.
I am happy at present and that's all I need for now......
