CHAPTER 7.
“Hey,“ The familiar feminine voice echoed in the room and his head came swinging up.
“Hey,“ He beamed at her. She was leaning against the door, still dressed in her silver nightgown. ”You finally up?“
“Yup, got hungry,” She smiled.
He got to his feet and went to her, pulling her into his arms. He rocked her slightly, taking a deep breath of her lavender scent. Twenty years later but he still wouldn't get enough of it. He still wouldn't get enough of her.
He pulled away from the hug and gave her a once-over. “How are you feeling?“ His hand went to her belly and he caressed it. “Got any pains here?”
“No, I'm fine. I just got a little tingling down there,“ She gestured with her head. Ryder's gaze followed her gesture.
“I'm sorry,” He blurted out, holding her into another hug. A bit of regret crept into his heart for even fucking her at all last night. He would have just gone the old way of jerking off and forcing himself to sleep right after.
“It's fine,“ She ran a hand over his back. “I wanted it as much as you did,“
He pulled away again, kissed her lips, and led her to his seat. She sat on his lap and he muffled a groan as her butt brushed his fly.
'Fucking Casanova,' Cross blasted him. His grumpy wolf got even grumpier over the years.
Ryder had thought getting a mate would make his wolf a little less grumpy. But no, that wasn't the case, so he has to accept that it was just the nature of his wolf.
“Jason is the Casanova, not me,“ Ryder retorted through a mind-link. Saying that hurt a bit, but he pushed the pain aside.
“What is this?“ Hara asked, picking up the files he'd been reading.
“It's an official list of the Carianno family,”
“Like a family tree or something?“ She asked. He nodded. “Whoa, they are quite a big family,“
“They sure are. But there seems to be a huge mistake,“
“Why do you say that?“ Hara glanced at him with a confused stare, and then her gaze was back on the paper.
“I just found out Jason is part of the Carianno family under the name, GHOST, and he abducted Ciara,“
“What?“ She blurted out. “Why?“
“I'm yet to know why, but the thing is, those two never got along. Now, Jason is a vicious man with no memories, and Ciara is a pain in the ass with a rude way of talking. It's gonna be a disaster between them,
“The thought of it makes me shudder. What if he kills her?“ Hara asked.
“Nah, the fact that he took her with him shows he wants her alive. If he didn't, he would have just killed her on the spot,“
Hara nodded. A retch formed in her throat at the thought of Jason, ending lives ruthlessly. She still couldn't picture him like that. The only images of him she had in her head were the ones from when he was still here with them. The funny, sarcastic, and sleazy Jason.
”But again, that's not the biggest problem here,“ Ryder sighed, pointing at the file. “This is supposed to be a list of all the members of the Carianno family. But funny enough, Jason's name isn't on it,“
“Maybe he has a different name signed up here,“
”Impossible. I've already checked the faces of the names here. No one matched with his,“
“So what exactly are you trying to say?“ Hara rubbed her ass around his fly. This time, he couldn't muffle the groan.
“Fuck, you killing me,“ He husked Jnto her ears, “Thought you said you were feeling funny down there. Why you getting me hard for nothing?“
Hara faked a poker face. “I don't know what you talking about,“
“Keep up with that and you're gonna be finding out with your back pinned on this table. Just like old times,“
“Sounds enticing,” Hara winked at him and tapped a finger on the list. “Could have been an oversight,”
“You think?“ Hara rubbed her ass again around his fly and he held her hips to steady her. “Mafians are precise. This is too much of an oversight,“
“So what are you saying?“
“I think Jason is being played by his new family. I think they're just using him for fame and every other thing he brings to the table. But he's never gonna be a real part of the family,“
“Because he's American?”
“Maybe, or maybe there is another reason. But legally, he's not a part of the family, and the poor guy hasn't even realized that yet,“
Hara couldn't help the facial change of expression. “What do you think is gonna happen to him?“
“Well, for now, they still need him so they're keeping him. But when they don't need him anymore, they'll blow his brains out. He knows too much. They'll never let him stay alive,“
“Jason is in one deep shit,“ Hara sulked. Her heart bled for him.
“Not for long. I'm never gonna sit back and watch those goddamned humans screw my Beta over,”
“Yeah, you gotta save him. He's your favorite person, after all,”
“You mean, after you and Blair?“ Ryder chuckled, kissing her nape. “What was it you were doing with your ass a while back?“
“You mean this?“ Hara rubbed her ass over his fly again, and he let out a ragged groan.
“Wanna see how hard I got from that?“
“Sure,“ Hara giggled. she watched him take out his dick and she gasped, “Fuck, you so hard,“
“And it's all you, Queen. Wanna sit on it?“
“Goddess, no!“ Hara gasped at how naughty he was right now. Ryder has always been naughty but it always beats the shit out of her whenever he shows that side of himself.
“Why not?“
“What if Blair walks in?“
“She won't. It's too early for her to roam about. She's probably in bed or getting attended to by her Nanny,“
Hara bit her lips with a slutty grin. She had to admit, she's gotten a bit naughty herself. And with his dick glaring at her, it was impossible to reject his offer.
“Okay, but you gotta take it slow,“ She warned.
“Yes, Ma'am,“ He lifted her slightly. Luckily enough, she had no panties on, so it was easier to slide into her.
Hara shut her eyes as he began thrusting in and out of her. It was slow, way too slow.
“You want me to go faster?“ He asked. No doubt he read her mind, like always. She nodded.
Ryder picked up his pace and Hara moaned loudly at the pleasure rippling through her insides.
She was also breathless now, throwing her head back on his shoulder. His grunts synched with her moans as he went faster.
The creaking sound of the chair came in rhythm to his thrusts. The erotic sound of skin-slapping skin filled the room.
“I think I just hit your G-spot, Queen,“ He husked out, biting her earlobe.
She moaned in response as he fucked her to her release, and her knees buckled. Beads of sweat soaked her nightgown.
Just then, tiny footsteps raced inside, taking them both by surprise.
Little Blair watched them with her doe eyes. “What's wrong with Mummy?“
Ryder was speechless, and he didn't expect Hara to say a word either. She just had a mindblowing orgasm and was still flushed from it.
“Get out,“ He clenched out and Blair instantly took off, whimpering on her way.
He'll have to erase this from her head later. He never thought he would ever use his powers on little Blair but he can't let what she just saw stay in her head. It'll fuck her up.
Ryder trailed flurry kisses on Hara's back, all the way to her nape.
