"You've brought back Whitebeard Pirates' Thatch?"
Kyle repeated the question.
"That's right!"
Sabo's voice came through the Den Den Mushi.
For a moment, everyone present fell silent.
But it was also at this moment that a familiar sound rang out again. Kyle raised an eyebrow slightly and once more pulled a Den Den Mushi from his pocket.
After answering it, Luffy's excited voice came through.
"Kyle, I defeated Cracker, one of the Big Mom Pirates' Four Sweet Commanders, and I'm on my way back, bringing him in!"
"This guy's bounty is a whopping six hundred thirty million Berries!"
Having said this, Luffy could no longer contain his excitement and burst into loud laughter directly.
"Hahahaha..."
"I'm the one in the crew now, besides you, who's defeated a pirate with the highest bounty, right?"
"Cracker? Charlotte Cracker?"
"Yeah! That seems to be the name!"
Luffy's tone carried a hint of uncertainty, immediately followed by the sound of him asking a question from the other end of the Den Den Mushi.
"Hey! Aren't you called something like Chocolate?"
"Do you have a problem with your ears? My name is Cracker, Cracker!!"
An unfamiliar roar of anger came from that end.
At this moment, both Garp and Kyle fell silent once more.
This matter... seemed to have gotten a bit big!
Luffy, still immersed in excitement over there, was completely unaware of the situation, as he cheerfully continued:
"Wait for me to bring this guy back. I'm already very close to Marineford now, shouldn't take long to get there."
Having said that, Luffy hung up the Den Den Mushi.
Sabo on the other side hadn't hung up, but he had also heard what Luffy said. After a moment of silence, he asked Kyle:
"Kyle, do I still need to bring Thatch back then? Should I..."
Sabo didn't finish the sentence, but everyone present understood what he meant, except for Luffy who was too thick-skulled to think about anything.
Impel Down currently held Kaido and Jack, and Luffy had captured Cracker, while Sabo had caught Thatch.
What did this mean?
It meant that three of the Yonko crews currently on the seas were now entangled with them.
Once Thatch and Cracker were brought back, there was no need to think about the Whitebeard Pirates; given Whitebeard's regard for his sons, he would definitely attack.
The Big Mom Pirates would likely do the same.
Firstly, Cracker was Big Mom's son. Although Big Mom didn't really care much about her children, if she showed no reaction to her son being captured, the authority of the Big Mom Pirates would undoubtedly be greatly affected.
Furthermore, there was another very important reason: in the scenario where the Whitebeard Pirates moved against the Navy, if the Big Mom Pirates also got involved, the pressure on them wouldn't be that great.
As for the remnants of the Beasts Pirates, if they were alone, they naturally wouldn't have the guts to take on the Navy.
But if it was combined with the other two Yonko crews...
Then the outcome would be different again!
If they really brought both Cracker and Thatch back, the consequence would most likely be that Impel Down and the Navy would face the assault of two full Yonko crews plus one incomplete Yonko crew.
And that would be...
Way too exciting!!!
A tremendously bright light burst forth from Kyle's eyes.
"Bring him back!!"
"Bring Thatch back and lock him up in Impel Down. As a Marine, there's no reason not to arrest a pirate when you encounter one!"
"As for these so-called Yonko crews, if they have the guts, let them come to Impel Down to rescue him!"
"I'd really like to see just how capable they are!"
"I understand!"
Sabo's calm voice came through, with a faint hint of excitement detectable within, and then he directly hung up the Den Den Mushi.
Zoro and Ace nearby also roughly guessed what they might be facing next, but neither showed any fear; instead, they both carried a hint of excitement.
It seemed like they might get to have a rousing good battle!!
As for Garp, his expression didn't change much either. He just looked at Kyle and asked quietly:
"Confident?"
"If it were just me alone, of course I wouldn't have this confidence. But I'm not alone; after all, I have the Navy backing me up!"
"And besides, when the time comes, we won't need to let the ordinary Marines fight, to avoid unnecessary casualties!"
"We are the Navy. Do we need to fear a few so-called Yonkos?"
"Moreover, isn't this old man Garp here? You can just pick any one to fight, Whitebeard or Big Mom!"
Upon hearing this, Garp immediately rolled his eyes.
"You little brat, making this old man work so hard at his age, you really don't know how to respect your elders!"
Though he said that, there was no reluctance in Garp's expression or tone; instead, he was equally excited.
When he was young, Garp wasn't one to stay out of trouble; expecting him to settle down just because he got old?
Under normal circumstances, perhaps Garp really wouldn't be that interested, but in a situation like this, if Kyle didn't let him fight, he'd be the one getting angry at Kyle.
Whitebeard? Big Mom?
Come to think of it, it had been a long time since he'd fought those guys~
Suddenly, Garp seemed to think of something and looked at Kyle, asking:
"Do you think there's a chance they might ask the Red-Haired Pirates for help?"
"If it comes down to all four Yonkos attacking us, it might get a bit troublesome!"
"Red-Hair?"
"That's impossible!"
"There's absolutely no way that guy will get involved in this matter. He doesn't have the guts..."
A faint smile played on Kyle's lips.
Firstly, Shanks wasn't particularly close to the other three Yonko crews; the chances of the Beasts Pirates and Big Mom Pirates asking him for help were slim, let alone the Whitebeard Pirates.
Given Whitebeard's personality, he'd probably lead his own crew to attack directly, with no chance of allying with others.
However, the possibility of the Beasts Pirates and Big Mom Pirates joining forces was very high. Even if the three didn't explicitly unite, the Big Mom Pirates would definitely choose to strike when the Whitebeard Pirates came to rescue their man.
At that point, with a shared objective, a temporary alliance was a very real possibility.
But it wouldn't make much difference.
The enemy's top-tier combat power was essentially just Whitebeard and Big Mom. Pay a little attention to those two, the rest would be easy!
In the original story's Summit War, if it weren't for a bunch of players slacking off, the Whitebeard Pirates wouldn't have stood a chance against the Navy.
The Navy's deployed top combat power ostensibly included the three Admirals, but among them, only Akainu was fighting for his life.
The other two were slacking off, especially that guy Kizaru. Aokiji at least coughed up a little blood, but from start to finish, Kizaru's uniform was just barely dusty.
As for the others like the Seven Warlords, needless to say, each had their own schemes, putting in minimal effort, and Hancock even defected to the other side.
So basically, it was the Navy's mid-tier and the Whitebeard Pirates' mid-tier fighting it out.
Under those circumstances, the Whitebeard Pirates could put up a fight, since they did have a considerable number of mid-tier fighters.
For instance, now, if they were to face three Yonko-level crews simultaneously, the Navy would definitely be far outmatched in terms of mid-tier.
All three Yonko crews were large fleets with enormous numbers of people.
But—
No big deal!!
The key to battle has always lain in the disparity of top-tier combat power.
Put it this way, if the enemy's top-tier combat power was restrained, Kyle was confident he could handle all the remaining mid-tier by himself.
His abilities weren't just strong in one-on-one fights; they were equally unmatched in group battles.
One strike of thunder and lightning, and how many people would still be standing then?
"Somehow, I'm starting to look forward to it~"
