PUREBLOOD Chapter 14

Red bomb club was in full swing as usual that evening.

"Oh, Miss Emma. It seems like you're wearing the perfume Passion's paradise. It smells really nice." Max, the club's manager said as he passed by the girls, who were having drinks at the bar.

"Ah, you've got a good nose there, Max." Emma replied.

"That's why my nickname is dog nose.I can..."He was saying when a headless body came flying in front of the girls.

"What the hell is that?"Someone asked as the body dissipated.

"Let's get out of here first." Emma replied, talking to the girl beside her. The girls rose up and were about to head out with the people who were absconding when a vampire grabbed her, to serve as a hostage against approaching Zuriña.

"Please don't kill me." Emma whined.

"Stop squirming around."He smiled, his talons around her neck.

"I dare you to take a step closer."

"Thinking of playing with hostages now? So childish." Zuriña snarled and loomed towards him to punch him in the jaw, freeing Emma in the process.

"Thank you." Emma said as Zuriña pulled her to her side and he slowly dissipated.

"Hurry up and leave. Go somewhere safe where there are no vampires."Zuriña told her.

"No vampires?" Emma asked and she suddenly transformed. "As if a place like that exists."

She leaped to Zuriña from behind with a snarl.

"I may look this way, but I actually trained as a judo athlete in the past." She said, her arms around Zuriña's body, trapping any form of escaping.

"So what?" Zuriña asked as she broke free, throwing Emma to the ground. Emma's face showed she was completely surprised by the enormous strength she had.

"What the hell..."

Zuriña slid her hand around her throat before before she could recover as she looked down at her,a death glare on her face which sent Emma flinching the next minute.

"Do you think I don't know? You can't hide the smell of blood with perfume."

"Ur..." Zuriña snapped her neck before she could complete her sentence, sending her to hell she'd believed they'd all go to.

People who were humans had absconded out of the club and she rose to her feet.

"Stop messing around and bring out the bastard who killed the priest." She snapped as Emma's body fiddled away.

"You don't know? You really don't know a thing, do you?"Max asked.

"If he doesn't show up, you're all dead." She replied, clenching her fist.

"Woah, woah. Calm down, there's no reason to be hasty. After all, the game has just begun." He said and gave the nod, which sent about thirty vampires flying her way.

"What a waste of time." She hissed.

She had the first vampire over even before he'd reached her, and one of them was about to scratch her with his talons but she swiftly sneaked up to him from behind and gave him a rough punch.

"Get her." The rest of them snarled and within ten minutes, she managed to take them all down and all that was left of them were their jackets on the floor.

The club was in a total mess, chairs and tables were all scattered here and there, not to talk on the floor which now looked like an earthquake happened there.

She raised her eyes in time to see Max and his guys flinching like they'd seen a ghost.

How many of them are left? Twenty? She wondered as she raised her eyes to examine the others who seemed scared to have a fight with her.

Right, they should fear her, she thought.

She just couldn't seem to calm down, not until she killed the one who killed the priest.

"Bring it on."She screamed and Max turned to bow to someone who emerged out of darkness. From the smug expression he had on his face, she guessed he was the one who did it, but she had to confirm first.

"Ah, boss."

"Who the hell said fight with such an embarrassing display?" He roared and Max flinched again, before he turned to her with a smile.

"You're finally here, pureblood. What did you think of the appetizers? Were they to your liking?"

"Was it you?"She asked as he walked up to one of the tables which was still in place in the club.

"Come, have a drink. you can choose. I've got the blood of a nineteen year old male high schooler or do you want that of a twenty one year college student? Or do you prefer older people? I have that of a fourty five year old doctor, a male." He said.

"Were you the one that killed father?"

"Aren't you gonna have a drink? You have been starving yourself." He said and Zuriña turned to see him fill up a glass.

Her heart thumped at the sight of the blood in front of her, but she was determined to make his provocation using that method useless.

As if he'd read her mind, he ran his tongue around the lips and she curled her fist.

No, she couldn't be distracted. Not when she was getting revenge for the priest's death.

"Answer the damn question."She yelled and he turned to her to take a sip.

"I went to see you but the priest offered such violent hospitality so I had no choice than to treat him in kind."

So he was the one.

"Why did you kill him?"

"And if I tell you..." He asked, with an arched eyebrow. He didn't look scared one bit.

"You'll die in slightly less pain."

"Who?You?Me?" He scoffed.

"Father did that to protect me. He was an unrelated person. If you came to see me, you should have just come to me. Why did you have to kill an innocent person. Why?" She screamed as she stroke at him to give him a hit.

The smoke from the ruckus she'd caused covered her eyes as she landed hoping to see him on the floor, groaning in pains but to her greatest surprise, he was still in one piece.

"Look here, pureblood. Did you think you were the only pureblood?" He asked as he sent his tongue around his fangs.
