"I think it will be difficult to..." Levi was saying when the door swung open and they all turned to see Sahan trod in, blood seeping out from his injuries.
"So you made it, after all..." Joel, one of the angels of death said.
"I need it...hurry up and hand the pureblood's blood." He panted
"It's pretty shameless of you to show up here after getting your ass handed to you." Vael said as he played with a card between his fingers. He was the most handsome of the angels of death.
"Stop making a scene and leave." Joel said "Why did you bother coming back?"Mamon asked and Ariel also known as Ash ran her tongue over her lower lip. "Sahan..."
He turned to look at the Master's seat and was surprised to see it was empty.
"Where is Master? He's supposed to be here today."
Joel looked at him and clicked his tongue.
"What will the Master want with a toothless tiger like you?" He asked and Ash rose up and walk to Sahan, a seductive smile playing on her lips.
"You should go come back once you've recovered alright?" She asked and made to touch him but he pushed her hand away.
"Don't touch me, I'll kill all of you if I have to." She stuck out her lip. "I'm only saying this because I'm concerned about you...You should go back for now. Your body is bruised and battered..." She lowered her eyes to his lip and ran her thumb over it. "...you even have blood on your lips."
Everyone turned to stare at him when he slammed her down and pinned her hands against the table.
"I told you not to touch me and why are you acting like my girlfriend? I'm in a really bad mood so shut up and mind your business or else I will tear you into pieces." He said and she didn't bother to struggle.
"What are you doing Sahan? Let her go." Joel yelled.
"What happens if you really end up hurting me?You know I make my money by living off my looks."
"That's enough." Levi said he tightened his grip on her wrist.
"If none of you have the pureblood's blood, then I will just settle for whoever has it in their veins. We all know that an angel of death has the blood of a pureblood running through their veins."
She clicked her tongue. "Sweetie, I'm sure you know that drinking it could give you some pretty nice side effects." She said and he released her from his grip and she sat up.
"It doesn't matter. They'll torture me to death if I go back. If I'm going to die, I'll rather take my chances with you."
Everyone was surprised when Ash grabbed her head and fell back to the table and before they could say a word, Ash reached for her heart.
"Stop it... you're controlling me..."
"Sahan, let her go." Levi screamed.
"Sahan... release me." She said, tears welling in her eyes as her claws elongated.
"You're going to be the first one to go because you got on my nerves. You should have just kept your head down and stuck to acting." He said and she lowered her hand to flip her hair, almost charming everyone present.
"Why should I keep my head down when I'm good at acting?...This is the kind of performance that won me an award for the best actress." She said and it became clear. She'd faked being hypnotized.
"How is this possible?I definitely put you under my control..."
"I already figured you would do that." She said and he scowled as he made to attack her and she tilted her head to fold her arms.
"Hold on Sahan, do you have any idea what your face looks like now?"
Sahan frowned as he pushed her aside to look at his reflection on the transparent stable. His young and handsome self had transformed into an ugly and toothless monster. That was Ash's ability.
"How dare you..." He asked and charged at her but halted as she transformed into him. He was now staring back at his younger self.
"That's no way to talk back to your superiors." She said and he yelled out in pain as he slowly disintegrated.
She knelt down over his clothes which he had left behind and shook her head as she changed back to herself.
"How distracted do you have to be to realise your life force is being sucked out of you?"
"Darn, you really had me worried that you were a goner." Mamon said.
"Your acting skills never fail to impress me, Ash." Joel said as she walked over to her seat. "Where were we?... Right, we were talking about the pureblood and the detective." She said as she looked over her nails before returning her eyes to the projector.
"The link between those two is very interesting..."
She cupped her job with her left hand and ran her tongue over her fangs.
"It's kind of romantic...I want to go and pay them a visit."
