Simmi's eyes were brimming with tears, she tried to hide them but a lone tear escaped her eyes which didn't go unnoticed by Sanjay. He wiped the tears and took Simmi in her embrace. Both were feeling happy, content and secure in each other's embrace. At that moment their only wish was that time would stop. But then some things have to end to start a new beginning. Sanjay went away with the promise of meeting her before departing and will return as soon as his course would end.
Today was the day when Sanjay had to depart. Sanjay along with his parents came to bid goodbye to the Kapoor ladies.
" Bhabhi I'm going today but I am leaving my precious possession with you. Can you please take care of Simmi till I'm back?"
Hearing this Sujata smiled a little "Sanjay she is as precious to me as to you and since you have entrusted me, therefore, I will not break your trust rest assured. Now go and come back fast, someone is waiting for you." A smirked smile was on Sujata's face. Hearing this the couple blushed.
They were sitting in the lounge when Mr Khanna came in. He was looking angry, his eyes were red, nostrils were flaring, lips were twitched, his jaws were tightened, it was looking as if he would beat the first person he saw.
"What happened uncle? Why are you so angry?"
Rajan was the first one to react.
"Don't act innocent with me as if you don't know anything."
"Uncle I don't know what you are talking"
"Oh really! didn't think Ranjeet called you"
"Yes he did but it was generally about our family and nothing else"
"Listen I don't believe you and mind you, I won't let anyone spoil the name and fame my friend earned tirelessly."
Listening to all this Sujata smirked knowingly by now she has understood the reason for all this arguing. Their argument continued for some time.
In the end, Mr Khanna was so furious that he snapped at Rajan, "if you don't know how to do business and don't want to understand anything then you should leave it ."
With this, he went as swiftly as he came.
Sujata turned to Rajan, "what is all this why is he furious. He can't talk to you like that. Why don't you go and talk to him"
"I think I should talk to Ranjeet first." With that, he takes his phone and moves out.
"Hello Bhai, I was about to call you"
"Why, is anything wrong"
"Yes bhai the famous Khurrana industries is merging with Kapoor industries"
"What? face-palming himself, "How and when this occurred. Why didn't you inform me about it?" Rajan shouted back at Ranjeet.
"Just a few days back I received some papers from their side. They're not only merging companies but our identity has also been merged. We can't make any decisions independently. We have to inform them about everything and the most shocking thing was that all the papers were signed by Raj Bhai". Ranjeet was surprised to see his brother's signature.
"What." He just sat where he was standing. He was so shocked that he was unable to utter a single word, he couldn't believe what he heard. He just disconnected the call and kept on sitting there for god knows how much time
