Reclaiming His Luna Chapter 34

~Aurora.

All I wanted to do was lay down on my bed and have a good night of sleep after the long day I have had, but, I couldn't. I did lay down but sleep seemed to elude me.

I kept tossing and turning on my bed, yet each new position turned out to me more uncomfortable than the previous one.

Giving up, I sighed and got off the bed, wrapping my robe around my body as I stormed out of the room and headed for the garden. The weather was chilly, but it did nothing to cool off my anger.

The fact was, I knew I was angry, but I didn't know what the cause was -apart from that fact that it involved one silly alpha- I didn't know what my anger was all about.

“Fancy seeing you here, Aurora.”

“Argh,” I shrieked and jumped, clutching my chest as I turned around to see Ethan seated on the pavement far into the shadows. The only source of light being the one at the bottom of his cigarette.

“For the goddess' sake, your highness, what are you doing here?” I tightened my robe around my waist and folded my arms.

“The same reason as you.”

“And why do you think I'm here?”

“Because you can't sleep. If you could, you would be on your bed and not here. With me.”

I scoffed, “I am here on my own and not with you. Goodbye.” I turned to head back to my room, but he jumped out of the shadows and stopped before me.

“Hold on,” he threw the cigarette to the ground and squashed it with the heel of his shoe," stay with me. I would really appreciate some company.”

“The same company you needed this evening.”

“I already apologized for that. I, am truly sorry about that, Aurora. I wouldn't have asked you to be there if I had known my Mum invited them.”

“Oh, you wouldn't? And here I was thinking I was of a little bit of of importance here.”

His brows narrowed, “I…I- I thought you were not-”

“Not what?”

“I don't know. That you wouldn't want to meet her.”

“Why wouldn't I? I already met her at the park the other day, remember?”

“Yeah, but-”

“Look, it's nothing. Just try to give me some heads up next time, okay?”

He nodded. I gave him a nod in response and tried to walk past him, but, he took hold of my hand and pulled me back and closer to him.

“What is it this time, your highness?” I groaned.

“Stop it.” He breathed.

“Stop what?” I stressed, stomping my feet. I was beginning to realize the reason for my anger and the more I looked at Ethan, the more angry and hurt I got and the last thing I wanted was to break down in front of him.

“I need to ask you something.”

“What?”

“I want to officially propose to Tiffany but, I still need a ring. Will you help me choose a ring for her.”

I tried to take a step back but his hold on me wouldn't let me, so I only got to tilt my head back and look at him with my brows raised.

“You want me to help you choose a ring for your fiancée?” He nodded, “why me? Why don't you go with Sam?”

“I need to look at things through a woman's eyes.” I scoffed. “Please, just do this for me.” His exhalation fell on my face and I looked up at him. Even under the moonlight, he was the darnest sight to behold. So sexy and… and wicked. And intriguing and devilish.

“Please,” he tugged me closer, making us a breath away from each other.

I couldn't understand why he was making such a request. Just a few hours ago, back at the hospital, he wanted to kiss me and now, he wanted me to help him choose a ring for his bloody whore!

Oh, God! Aurora.

“Sure, your highness. I will help you with that.”

His gaze darkened, and I could hear his teeth grinding against each other. He closed up the gap between us and his chest rose and fell against mine.

“Why are you doing this, Aurora. Why do you feel the need to frustrate me?”

All my efforts to pull away from him proved futile. Not that I tried harder, anyway. I loved the feel of his body against mine and the way his scent dances around my nose. I loved the way his presence surrounded and swallowed me.

“What- what did I do? You sought my help and I agreed to help you. What else did I do, your highness?”

“Oh, for the love of everything in the skies, Aurora, cut it out already! It's Ethan, that is my name, and I order you to address me as such.”

“You may be the king but, you cannot order me around, your highness.”

In a split second, his grip loosened on my arm and wrapped around my neck.

“Let me go, Ethan. The mark you gave me the other day is not completely healed.” I gritted out.

“Good because you should be wearing my mark anyway.”

“I did. And the goddess forbid I do that again. Go and put your mark all over your wife.” I spat out. Literally.

His grip loosened, and before I could take a breath, it came back on my neck, tighter and stronger.

“You are hurting me, Ethan.”

“It's good to see that you have learned your lesson. It is Ethan and do not forget that. And be ready to have my mark all over you.”

Zoey jerked up, and I bit my lower lip to keep her whimper from escaping my lips. Ethan was going to be married soon, there was no way we were getting excited about wearing his stupid mark.

“You must be sick in that head if you think that will ever happen.”

Before the words could leave my lips, Ethan's hands left my neck to wound around my waist. He pressed me flatter against himself and buried his face into my neck.

He sucked, bit and nibbed at my neck. I darted my hands out to push him away but, the fell flat against his chest and clutched his shirt, pulling him closer.

A moan escaped my lips, and I pulled my lower lip in between my teeth to stifle the other moans from escaping.

With one hand still on my waist, he began moving the other up my back and tugging at my robe.

“Ethan, what are you doing?” I asked in a whisper as I caught his hand. It was beginning to move farther than I could handle.

He tried to pull his hands away, but I held his tighter, still clutching desperately at his chest. His other hand left my waist and began venturing into my robe.

“Ethan, wait.” I breathed out, the thought of stopping him and letting him continue bursting through my head. “Fuck, Ethan stop.” I managed to push him away.

“What?” His eyes searched mine like I was the one doing what we weren't supposed to be doing.

He was getting married soon, for fuck's sake.

His ran his fingers through his hair and stood at akimbo as he turned his back to me.

“Get out. Now.”

“What?” My face fell like that of a girl who got rejected by her lover.

“Go back to your room now, Aurora. Don't make me repeat myself.”

“And if I don't?”

“I swear, if I count to ten, and you are still standing there, I will tie you up and fuck the living daylights out of you.”

“You are crazy, Ethan.”

“One.” He counted and blew out a rush of air. “Two.”

“This is insane, Ethan. You can't do that.”

“Three, four, five, six.”

“Ethan, stop it!” I yelled, but, he ignored me and continued counting.

“Seven, eight. Nine.” Seeing he was not listening to me, I tightened my robe and ran.
