SEDUCED BY THE HEIRESS: ONE WILD NIGHT Chapter 22

It's truly shameful to admit, but for the past two months, I've been enslaved by Logan. The idea of submitting to any man was something I never imagined. I believe strongly in women's empowerment and always thought that no man could bring me down. My dad and brother treat me like a princess, so I never anticipated experiencing such hell at the hands of Logan.

He consistently insults my very existence. I find myself praying that Saturdays and Sundays never come. Who in their right mind would willingly become someone's slave? Damn, that vase! Why did I have to read it? I wish I didn't have any problems right now.

Today, I couldn't accompany Alice. She needed to help her parents, who were attending an important event in another town. As for me, I had nothing to do. I wanted to find an excuse not to go to the hacienda.

But to my surprise, Logan still showed up and personally fetched me from our house. I could feel my face reddening in embarrassment in front of my mom. It felt as if I were a suitor coming to their house.

Reluctantly, I got into his car with my arms crossed. "Didn't I say I'm skipping today?" I said irritably.

"Why? Because you're sick and overwhelmed with homework, you liar," he retorted, catching me in my attempt to deceive him. I thought I could get away with it. Why is this guy so sharp-minded?

I'm trying to outsmart him, but it's proving to be incredibly difficult. He's not only intelligent but also seems to catch on to my every bad or rebellious intention.

"Whatever," I muttered. Every time I have something to say, he already has a script ready to throw at me. He's so skilled at making me feel inadequate, making me appear immature, even though he's the one who acts immature.

"What? Nothing to say, you brat?" Now he's calling me a brat again. In what I said, was I acting like a brat?

"Ignorant," I muttered under my breath. I don't know if I should be grateful that we've finally arrived inside the hacienda. We were greeted by busy people.

As soon as we parked, I quickly got out of his car. I felt suffocated and couldn't bear to spend more time with him.

I'll just focus on doing my job and endure the day. I don't know when, but I hope I develop resilience against Logan. He's naturally nerve-wracking.

I headed to the kitchen to help with peeling something, even though I didn't know how to do it properly. I nearly cut my finger, but thankfully, Eda helped me and assigned me another task. She said it would be safer for me to handle something other than a knife.

So I ended up cleaning the garden behind the kitchen. My patience was truly being tested, along with my compassion and dedication to completing my tasks.

Yes, he has handsome younger brothers. Twins, to be exact. And because some of the maids and helpers are kind, they offered me some tea.

Logan's siblings are incredibly attractive. They're young, sexy, and oozing with charisma. They're exactly my type!

If Andrew is already handsome, his brothers are ten times more attractive. Logan, on the other hand, is attractive in a more mature way. But I'll never admit that. If I acknowledge his handsomeness, my ego will inflate again.

To go to the market, I took a cab, flexing my navigational skills. I'm great with directions, so I chose that task over risking the loss of one of my fingers. I'm really scared of blood. Thankfully, there were band-aids in the kitchen earlier.

While shopping, I suddenly felt uneasy. I looked around, feeling as if a few guys were following me.

My heartbeat raced like a loudspeaker. I didn't want to create a scene, especially since it was just a gut feeling. If I failed to justify my conclusion, I would look foolish and embarrass myself.

The motorbike parking area was somewhat secluded, so it felt like a corner. Suddenly, two people appeared in front of me, and there was a man in red behind me. He had been following me since earlier!

"Seems like a stranger, and you look beautiful, miss," the fat pervert said.

"Don't come near me!" I threatened, horrified by my misfortune.

"Even if you shout, miss, we have something to silence you. We'll fill your mouth with cream, you whore," the old man said.

I didn't know which way to back off or run. I attempted to run, but it was the worst decision I could have made. They easily grabbed me and began touching me all over my body.

I tried to scream, but their hands covered my mouth, muffling my cries.

I was on the verge of collapsing, without hope, when someone came to my rescue.

He kicked those guys, accompanied by someone else, and they beat up the perpetrators before handing them over to the police.

"Shh, you're okay," Logan said, embracing me, making me feel safe in his arms.

I felt a sense of reassurance in his embrace.

After the chaos, the perpetrators were immediately arrested. Logan promised that he would make them pay for their actions.

It's people like those perverts who deserve to be in hell.

I never imagined that I would experience such a thing firsthand.

Even now, I can still feel their hands forcibly touching me. I'm trying to cover my body, protecting myself from their vile desires, from their lust.

I can still feel those repulsive touches that make my skin crawl. What would have happened if they had succeeded? What would have become of me?

Someone suddenly grabbed my shoulder while I was sitting on one of the sofas in the living room.

Startled, I flinched in fear, almost jumping from the sudden touch. It was Logan, making himself known.

"Calm down, Krystal. No one can hurt you now. I assure you they will spend the rest of their pathetic lives in jail," he said with sincerity. But I hate how he calls me Krystal.

I nodded slowly. "Thank you. I don't know what would have happened to me if you hadn't saved me."

"I'm responsible for you. I brought you here, and I also fired the person who gave you that task. We have our own maid who can handle the grocery shopping. You're still getting used to this place; it's not perfect. But I can assure you that this won't happen again."

"I trust you then," I replied. Now, I can admit that he's not the worst person I've ever met.

He saved me! If he didn't have a heart, he wouldn't have done it. I might have ended up as a lifeless victim of those wicked people.

"You can go home if you want. I think you need to rest; this day has been too much for you," he suggested.

"Really? But I also thought that Mom might find out what happened. I don't want her to worry, and worst of all, I don't want Dad and my brother to find out," I said, growing nervous. I know how overprotective the men in our family can be.

"I assure you that no one will find out that you were the one victimized by those bastards. If you need to see a specialist, in case there's trauma, feel free to ask me, and I'll help you in any way I can," he offered.

"Why are you helping me?" I asked him. "I thought you hated me."

He seemed taken aback by my question, surprise clearly written on his face. "Hate is a strong word. I won't use it for someone who simply made a mistake."

"Thank you for saving me. I don't know how to repay this debt of gratitude," I said sincerely.

"Just stay safe always."

Logan treated me to lunch, and we went out to eat. Suddenly, he seemed like a changed person. I couldn't imagine that this day would come as if Logan had miraculously become kind.

I enjoyed his treat, and somehow, the events of the morning began to fade from my mind.

After our outing, he drove me home. It was already around 2 PM, and he insisted that I get enough rest.

It's as if I feel a sense of peace with him. I don't understand the logic behind it, but his assurance that everything is fine and that I have nothing to fear makes me feel safe and secure.

I also told myself that there's no reason to be scared. I'll just go back to sleep and temporarily set aside those thoughts, focusing on regaining my strength.

When I woke up, Alice was by my side.

"You're finally awake, girl! Come on, I brought some snacks," she said excitedly.

"What time is it?" I asked, still groggy. I wasn't fully awake yet.

"What? It's already dark outside, girl. You had such a long sleep. I waited for you to wake up, so I helped in the kitchen earlier."
