The journey to the Crescent moon pack was quiet until Bella and Alpha Coast got to Alpha Nathan’s office.
They both had an angry look on their face while Nathan was smiling at them, it was actually nice to see them shaken by him.
He had always been the one to cower whenever Alpha Coast was around but now that he had Luther in his care, he was able to hold his head high and stand his ground against him.
“Nice to have you back again Alpha Coast and my dear niece Bella” he said in a mocking tone, he crossed his legs staring at them.
“Where is Luther?” Bella asked and he scoffed,
“Do you think you have the right to ask the questions here or is because you have your mate with you that you think you can talk to me as you like” Alpha Nathan lashed back at her, he missed those days when Bella would listen and do everything he said but ever since she got tangled with Alpha Coast she had completely changed.
“Don’t you dare test me?” Bella bolted to her feet furious, she hated the guts of her Uncle now more than ever. He had turned out to be more evil than he was before.
Coast immediately grabbed her to stop her from jeopardizing the peaceful atmosphere they had.
“Don’t you dare yell at me” Alpha Nathan yelled back at her earning a growl from Coast for disrespecting his mate.
He calmed Bella keeping her back on his seat as they faced Nathan once again.
“Where is Luther?” He asked this time.
“In my custody” Nathan answered shaking his head loving how flared up Bella was because he had Luther in his care.
“Give him back to us” he demanded.
“Never” Nathan answered and he frowned. He clenched his fist also wanting to beat the hell out of Nathan but he couldn’t do that because Luther’s life might be in danger. He had searched the whole pack house in search of him the other time but he couldn’t find him, he knew very well not to provoke him because he was well aware of what Nathan might do to him.
“How about we do it this way, I will be asking the questions this time around” Nathan said folding his hand as he stared at their furious faces fixed on him.
They kept quiet listening to whatever he wanted to say,
“Have you two made your decision?” He asked.
During the last visit of Alpha Coast, he had told him that he could exchange his Luther’s life with Bella and that was the only way out. He had given him three days and expected the results today, seeing Bella with him, he believed that he was ready to do that.
“I can never give my mate to you” Alpha coast replied knowing fully well what would happen to Bella if he were to give her up to him and most worse what would happen to him if he wasn’t able to be with her. He had tried it before and he was so frustrated and lonely and he couldn’t dare do that again.
“Then you leave me no choice, I will have to kill the young boy then” Nathan said making Bella furious. She bolted from her climbing his table and about to teach him when Coast grabbed her once again but she had already scratched Nathan on the face with her sharp claws.
“You bitch” Nathan snared but he couldn’t do anything to her because Alpha Coast was with her, he would break him to pieces if he dare try to harm his mate.
“Keep that bitch away from me” he strictly warned him.
“Is there no other alternative since I can’t give my mate to you?” Coast asked wishing he could give him a second choice that doesn’t involve losing Bella.
“There is none that I have thought of…” Nathan was about saying when another idea struck his head. All that he was doing was because he wanted to save his daughter from the hands of Alpha Reid by exchanging her with Bella. But then he thought more about it, he wasn’t able to challenge Alpha Reid because his pack had done so much for him and he was practically indebted to him and his daughter Hava was the one who walked herself into her present predicament.
If he wasn’t able to challenge Alpha Reid then he might as well pick a much stronger Alpha to do that for him and who else other than Alpha Coast. The strongest Alpha in all lands feared by all.
“Well there is one thing you could do, since I am not able to face my enemy then you might face them for me” he stated and Coast couldn’t understand what enemy he was talking about.
“What do you mean?” He asked as he watched Alpha Nathan smirk at him.
“Attack the Dark moon pack in exchange for Luther” he requested.
“You want us to attack the pack that your daughter is?” Bella asked not surprised by his request.
“Yes, my daughter has suffered enough and as a father it is my duty to look after her well-being” he said.
“As a father, how about as an Uncle?” Bella asked recalling the things she had done to him.
“Dear Bella, my daughter comes first even before you” he stated.
“Fine then, we will do it but you have to promise us one thing?” Coast said accepting to destroy the Dark moon pack if that was the price to pay to get back Luther and keep Bella to himself.
“What is that?” Nathan asked.
“No harm should come to Luther not even as far as the hair on his head” Alpha Coast requested. If he was going to help Nathan and his daughter by destroying their enemy then he had to be sure that his family was safe too and right now Luther and Bella were his family.
“I give you my word Alpha, the boy will be safe” he swears to them.
“Give us a few days and the pack will be destroyed then we will come for Luther” he said.
“I will have him ready once I get the news of the attack” he uttered as he watched them leave with a broad smile on his face.
Nathan could feel that all his problems had been solved and he wouldn’t have to worry about facing Alpha Reid because Alpha Coast would be doing the work for him and he was confident that he would subdue the Dark moon pack because they were nothing compared to his pack just the same way his pack was nothing compared to Alpha Reid’s pack and that was why he had to go to him for help putting him in a tight spot where he couldn’t save his daughter.
