After what had happened to Denise, Bella thought she could also participate in trying to save her life.
She went through the packs library and found a lot of books about Sirens but it seemed someone had tried to know about them before.
All she found were ways on how to kill them and none of that involved sparing the host.
She couldn't allow them to kill Denise because she was the mate of the Gamma, Bella kept scanning through more books.
She found out more about the sirens, that they do not appear unless they are summoned.
She picked up a line from a book and read,
"The sirens are soulless creatures summoned for revenge, unless the revenge is done by them then they would keep on hunting the generation of whoever summoned them for eternity"
Bella began to wonder what the Sirens really wanted with Cane and why he was in the center of it.
Was it possible that someone from his family had summoned them and they have kept on hunting him until the revenge was done.
"The Sirens are know for always picking a human host because they are weak and easy to manipulate than other supernaturals.
That explains Denise" she stated.
Bella had seen the sirens before while she was with Coast but they did not possess them because they were unstable and had powers.
She kept on reading and it talked more about who created the Sirens,
"I don't want the history, I need to know how to end this" she yelled furious and threw the book away.
Two hours ago, she met Lucian and he looked like life had been drained out of him, not having his mate back affected him greatly and he was a mess.
She had promised him that she would find a solution and he counted on her for that, reading through the books was her first option yet she felt like she wasn't getting anything from the books to help him.
She picked up another book and a paragraph caught her attention,
"There is only one way to kill the Sirens, by burning the host on fire" she read.
"No
No,
That's gonna kill her" she yelled furiously sending a shock wave out of her body, the books on the shelves shaked and scattered all over the floor.
She needed answers on how to save Denise and not to kill her, how was she going to tell Lucian that his mate would be lost to him because the only solution involves killing her.
"Come on, give me something, anything" She screaming opening all the books at once and reading them in her mind, her powers had gone wild that she didn't notice she was almost bringing the castle down with a great earthquake.
Alpha Coast was thinking about the whole scenario in his office when everything began to shake, he immediately knew it was Bella and he ran out to her, he found her surrounded by books floating in the air while they kept opening; he was certain that she was reading them at once.
"Bella" he grabbed her body shaking her to snap out of it.
She wouldn't listen to him and continued reading, Alpha Coast had no choice than to command her.
"Bella!" he called in his Alpha tone and she instantly stopped, all the books fell to the ground and she suddenly became weak.
She opened her eyes to find Coast staring at her with fear in his eyes, she immediately crashed in his arms.
"I failed, I couldn't find a solution" she cried out.
Alpha Coast was well aware that going through the library was useless and he tried to stop her but she wouldn't listen to him. All the books about the Sirens were kept by him because he had been in the same position before, he once tried to save someone he loved from the Sirens.
"Don't be hard on yourself, this isn't your fault and it is not your obligation to find a solution" he said.
It was his obligation to do so but he had done that for years and yet no answer, he didn't want Bella to take the blame for him when she knew nothing about how the Sirens came.
"It is my obligation, I had promised to find a solution and I can't let Lucian and Denise down, they are depending on me" she answered.
He picked her up in his arms straight to his chambers and laid her on the bed,
"What you need now is rest, you just recovered and the doctor said you should rest more often" he answered her.
"I have been resting for two days that is more than enough for me, do you expect me to stay idle while Lucian is suffering" She barked taking the burden upon herself to help Lucian because of how much he had taken good care of her.
"That is not what I meant, I just don't want you stressing yourself, like today you almost buried everyone to the ground" he replied.
Bella suddenly stood up,
"Why do I get the feeling that you are hiding something, why are you stoping me from helping Denise?" She blurted out reading his body language correctly.
Alpha Coast was tensed after she said that, it was indeed true that he didn't want the sirens out because they might possess someone else and expose his secret but he was also worried about Lucian and what might really happen to his mate.
"What?
What are you talking about, I am not hiding anything.
Don't mistake my caring for you as selfishness, I am also trying here to help Denise and Lucian"
"By doing what,
What have you done so far" she asked and he kept silent.
"I knew it, you are hiding something.
I just hope it has nothing to do with Denise" she warned and walked out in him.

Denise stayed in a sober state waiting for her next visitor when the ground began shaking. The sirens saw it as an opportunity to escape so they struggled with all their might and rip off the chains from the wall and then broke it.
With just a flick of her finger, the gate melted before her and she walked out of the dungeon silently killing every guard in their path.
Her next aim was to find Bella since she was the only piece of the puzzle that made sense, attacking Bella would be the same as attacking Alpha Coast and it would hurt twice as much.
With her eyes fuming green she searched for her until she got to the stairs leading to the Alpha's chambers, she found Bella in Alpha Coast arms and she immediately hid herself. Now was not the time to strike because they would only get defeated by him.
"Enjoy the little time you have Alpha" she hissed waiting for him to leave the room before she attacked Bella.
After waiting for a while, she was quite surprised to see Bella come out instead of Alpha Coast, she smiled because things had turned out to be much easier than she thought.
"Hi Bella, I see you have completely healed" she stepped out smiling, once Bella saw her, she held her stomach in fear, the stab wound she gave to her was still fresh in her memory.
"How did you get out?" She asked stunned by how she escaped the dungeon that was heavily guarded.
"That is not the right question, the right question should be why you keep getting attacked and if your mate has a hand in this" she replied back raising Bella's suspicion.
"What are you talking about?" Bella asked for more details to know what Coast had done.
"Do you think I attacked you for no reason, hasn't he told you the whole truth?" She questioned.
"If you are going to tell me why don't you get on with it anyways" Bella rashly answered.
"Be careful what you wish for, the truth might hurt sometimes" she laughed hysterically.
"Denise" a voice called from behind them,
"Are you okay now" Elaine asked concerned about her and if she was really herself.
A smile crept on Denise's face and she knew she was about to do something evil to Elaine,
"Don't you dare touch her?" Bella yelled running to rescue her but Denise had already taken her disappearing into the darkness.
It was too late to save her, now she had lost both Denise and Elaine. She ran back to inform Alpha Coast of what had just happened.
