Hava woke up to an unusual scene, she found Gamma Ashton sitting by her bed watching her sleep.
"Good morning" she greeted and he smiled.
"Morning angel" he replied joining her in the bed and cuddling her in his arms.
"You know you could get caught right?" She said worried for him, she didn't want him to face any punishment from Alpha Reid all because he wanted to see her.
"Is it a crime to see my mate, I hate it when I wake up and you are not by my side.
Don't worry, I was careful when I sneaked in" he replied drawing her closer and kissing her head.
"Sometimes this feel like dream to me, I never thought I would find happiness after what I did to you. Even my wolf left me because I rejected you" she disclosed to him and he raised his brows. He had never heard that piece of information before.
"You mean your mate disappeared because you rejected me" he asked again to be sure of what he really heard.
"Yeah, she just ghosted me and never came back until the day you forgave me" she answered.
Daisy was quite stubborn to have actually stuck to her words and not helped her at all when she was in trouble, sometimes she felt like Daisy was more of a bully than a counterpart.
"Wow, I never thought wolves could actually do that, like retaliate with their counterpart.
When you rejected us, me and my wolf were broken but he was much stronger than me, he encouraged me to hold unto to you and reject your rejection even after I had claimed to accept it to your face.
He was there for me" Ashton explained the relationship he had with his wolf and how close they were during their hard times.
"Our wolves are quiet opposite, I wonder how your wolf would deal with mine, she is trouble" Hava emphasized what Daisy truly was to her.
"Watch your tone girl" Daisy cautioned her listening to what she had just said.
"Nah, I think he already loves her and is eager to meet her, we should do a sprint sometime and let them meet.
What do you think?" He inquired from her, he wanted to give his wolf some time too with his mate but because of the situation they were in he couldn't do that more often.
"That sounds like a good idea,
Daisy is in" She replied him.
The day grew brighter and the skies were clear but Hava didn't want to let go of Ashton neither did he want to leave her side, they wished to stay with each other for a longer time but it was too dangerous to do so.
"I have to go Hava" He said and she grumpily pouted her lips not happy with that.
She wished she could keep him with her all day and not go anywhere.
"Just five minutes" she requested and he stayed based on her request, she snuggled more into his embrace resting her head on his chest, it felt so magical to be with her mate, she could feel the tingles from their body contact and the butterflies in her stomach, it was such an amazing feeling to her.
Five minutes had passed and Ashton tried to get Hava to leave him but she wouldn't,
"Another five minutes" she requested and he smiled, he loved that she wanted him so close to her and he also wanted the same thing but he just had to leave to avoid suspicions.
"If you keep prolonging the time then I might get caught, you know it would be ugly for both of us if we ever get caught" he reminded her and she smiled.
"Okay, can I have a kiss to brighten up my day" she inquired and he gave her a light peck then got off the bed.
"No, that was too fast" she complained to him and he chuckled.
He bent down and gave her a much deeper kiss biting her lips,
"Satisfied" he asked and she nodded her head with a obvious smile on her now red face.
"Cute" Ashton referred to how lovely she looked just after she had kissed him.
"Will I see you tomorrow?" She asked wishing she could wake up to him again.
"Hmm"
Just outside the door was Rebecca who came to persuade Hava into helping her but was met with a shocking news, she knew exactly whose voice that was and devilish smile crept on her face.
"I can't come tomorrow maybe some other time" Ashton replied and kissed her on the head before he opened the door.
Rebecca was long gone to avoid her getting noticed so he didn't suspect anything and just left.
Hava fell back on the bed happy for the beautiful morning she had, she played with her pillow sucking her lips to remember what kissing him tasted like.
"You must be really happy this morning" Rebecca said startling her to the point that she almost fell off the bed.
"What are you talking about?" Hava asked, she wished and hoped she hadn't seen Ashton walk out of the room but the time frame was too fast for her to not see him.
"I just saw the Gamma leave, was that why you were not affected by Lily's pregnancy, was because you are having a secret affair with him?" Rebecca exposed and Hava's eyes widen in shock.
Her biggest secret has now been exposed to no one else but Rebecca.
"What,
You thought no one was gonna notice.
So that was why he brought you back the other day, you two were together weren't you?" she asked yet Hava was too shaken up to answer.
She didn't know if she should lie to her face by denying the truth or she should just say it out.
"It is not what you think Rebecca" she stated.
"Really, I wonder what the Alpha would think when he get to know about it" Rebecca teased threatening that she could actually tell the Alpha, this scared Hava more sending a shock wave to her spine.
She was so frightened that she was lost on what to say next.
"What should I tell him Hava" Rebecca crossed her arms staring at her with a smile on her face, she had gotten a triumph card she could use against Hava.
"You don't have to tell him" Hava answered, she didn't want to endanger her relationship with Ashton by letting it reach the ears of the Alpha.
"Why not?
It would be a big scene and worst of all you might get tortured and killed along with the Gamma" she relayed to her stirring some evil thoughts into Hava's mind frightening her.
"Because he is my mate, we were meant to be together" Hava blurted out and Rebecca's jaw dropped,
"He is your mate?" She asked again and she nodded her head, she knew it would be a shocker to Rebecca but she still had to say it to see if she would pity her.
"Wow, this is amazing.
No, this just makes it more worse, the Alpha is going to kill him if he found out that" she continued in her usual threats and Hava just knew she wanted something from her.
"What do I have to do for you to shut up and not tell anyone?" She asked and Rebecca smiled,
"Now you are talking" she said locking the door and sitting close to her, Hava was quick witted and could pick up easily on all the threats she made.
"It's simple, help me be the Luna and I will keep your secret safe with me" She stated and Hava laughed.
"Pick a more possible task, that is just absurd to listen to" Hava mocked her.
There was no way she was going to help her do that because it had nothing to do with her, becoming the Luna meant she had to be pregnant for the Alpha and for now Lily holds that position herself.
"Fine, I want to get rid of Lily's pregnancy" she disclosed to her and Hava suddenly stood up in contempt.
"What?
You want to kill an innocent child?" She yelled but Rebecca quickly covered her mouth.
"I have no other choice or Lily would become the Luna, if I could just make her lose her pregnancy then she wouldn't stand a chance anymore and the Alpha would look at her differently" Rebecca explained her brilliant idea to her.
Hava couldn't help but remember what she had done to Bella, she was the reason why she had lost her child because she had pushed her down a flight of stairs and now Rebecca was asking her to do the same thing again.
"No, I cannot help you with that" she objected.
Rebecca became mad, do you think you have a choice here, it is either you help me or the Alpha knows about your relationship with the Gamma" she threatened her and Hava thought long and hard about it.
She couldn't put her affair with Ashton in jeopardy when she can save it, she had to do it for him, to protect him.
"Okay, I am with you but I will not be the one to kill the child, I have done things in my life I am not proud of and I can't afford to repeat them again" She stated and Rebecca beamed happily on having her by her side.
"I will tell you about the plan next time and also congratulations on finding love in a shithole like this pack, I hope it lasts" she said and then left her room.
Hava scattered her room In frustration, why did she have to poke nose in everything, she knew she couldn't trust her but she had to keep her mouth sealed at the moment.
