Alpha Coast was still frozen after the sirens had blurted out the truth to Bella.
This was the reason why he did want her to leave after saving Elaine, he knew the Sirens wouldn't let her go like that, she was an important piece for their revenge because her reaction to the truth would break him.
"I am asking you, did you really kill your father?" She asked him wanting to believe it was a lie and he could never do such a thing.
She never had thought him to be so cruel to kill his own father, no child would ever to that to their family.
"Talk to me" she pushed him snapping him back from his reverie, Alpha Coast was lost on what to say or do, he felt naked before her because his secret was all out.
"Why did you kill him?
Was it because of power?, to become the Alpha, was that why you killed him?" She asked, she was beginning to think the worst of him just as he had expected, this was exactly why he tried to hide because he knew how wild her imagination could be.
She was capable of labeling him as a monster without batting an eye or thinking twice about his hurt he would feel.
"Was it for sport?, did you feel bloodlust to kill him huh.
So this was what you were hiding from me all these while, you didn't want me to see you for the demon you really were, you wanted me to see you a saint" She sneered and he just stood there staring at her.
She glared at him the same way she did when she believed he was the one who killed her family. He was hurt by her reaction as expected.
"Why can't you speak, am I wrong?
Did you kill him because you wanted to, the Alpha I know would never give anyone a chance to defend themselves most especially those weaker than him.
Did you kill your father in cold blood?" She yelled at him.
Bella was able to finally get a fact correct but that was enough for him to continue keeping quiet, her right guess made his body shiver and he could no long have controlled over his fast paced heartbeat.
"You did, didn't you?.
Here I was thinking that you haven't done such things in your life, I knew you were cold and brutal but I had never thought about it to that extent, why did you hide it from me?
So that you can continue to coax me into loving you, were you going to keep acting like you hadn't murdered your own father and like you were nothing different from my uncle Alpha Nathan" she yelled to his face then paused and thought about it again.
"No, you are worst than me uncle, Alpha Nathan only killed his brother and his family but you, you are the real deal, you killed the man who brought you into this world, who raised you into being what you are today?" She muttered and he scoffed.
"Raised me, you know nothing about my father" he lashed back because she had said something he never wanted to hear.
"You are just a cold blooded killer" she said slowly making sure that he heard her correctly.
"You are right Bella, he did kill his father in cold blood" Denise interrupted and Alpha Coast got furious, she was the cause of all these and yet she wanted to butt into the conversation. He grabbed the axe from Bella and threw it at her, Denise caught it immediately and broke it into pieces.
"Now you are mad" she said with a smirk on her face,
She avoided attacking Coast and went ahead to attack Bella, she sent a ball of fire to her but Coast pushed her out of the way and his arm got hurt.
He stood up and growled at Denise, he ran further to her and she kept attacking him with arrows which he dodged all and grabbed her by the neck, lifted her up and smashed to the ground.
He picked a stick and was about to stab her chest when Bella screamed.
"Stop,
have you thought about what Lucian would feel if you killed his mate, he would be devastated" Bella said aiming to stop him from killing Denise.
She cared more about Gamma Lucian and she couldn't let Coast kill his mate, Denise was all he had and she saw how miserable he was when she was locked up.
She had promised to find a way to help him get her back to her normal self and she vowed to do that but for now she had to stop a raging Coast from killing her.
"She is no longer his mate, Denise is long gone" he answered her, Alpha Coast was blinding by hatred, he wanted to take her out due what she had done to him that he had also forgotten that the sirens were in control of her.
They were the one who blurted out the truth making Bella look at him like a monster.
"And you think killing her is the best solution, how can you be so wicked to do that to your Gamma,
He would never do that to you if I was the one possessed" she said to him.
Alpha Coast was fully distracted by Bella and Denise used that opportunity to kick him off her, pinning him to a floor making sure he wouldn't move.
She conjured up a knife about to stab him when Bella ran to her and kicked her off.
"Bella" she twisted her neck,
"I had not expected that you would defend a murderer, don't you think he deserves to die after what he did to his father" Denise persuaded her to turn against him.
"No one is dying today" she said and Denise laughed. She pulled back from them and smirked stretching her hands, everything around them suddenly disappeared and Bella and Coast found themselves in a strange environment.
"Now you will..." Denise was yet speaking when her neck got snapped by Lucian standing behind her and she dropped to the ground. He picked her up and kept her on his shoulders.
"Lucian, you can't take her away" Bella spoke out,
"Why not, you two tried to kill her just now" he answered.
Gamma Lucian was searching for Bella when he saw Elaine run past him, he tried to stop her and ask how she had escaped from Denise but she was too fast for him to reach her.
He stepped out and walked towards the back when he saw Bella and Coast along with Denise, he couldn't stay still and watch them both attack his mate like she wasn't the victim.
Bella reached out to him,
"No, I would never do that to your mate, I know how much you care for her and want to protect her but you can't do this alone, you need our help".
They were a family and it was up to them to figure out how to save Denise from the Sirens, she didn't want him to try to do that all by himself, it would be too much for him to handle.
"Your help,
He just tried to stab her with a stick which could have killed her and you just stood there doing nothing" he said.
Lucian was far away when he saw all that happen.
"No, I was the reason why he stopped, he wouldn't dare to harm your mate when he knows how much she means to you" Bella answered staring defiantly at Coast, if she hadn't stopped him from killing Denise then it would have been a different case entirely.
"I have had enough help from him, you couldn't contain the Sirens and when they possessed my innocent mate you tried to kill her but you didn't stop there, you also locked her up for days like she were a dog.
Is that the kind of help you are talking about?" He asked back stating the things Alpha coast had done to his mate that he hadn't approved of.
"Look Lucian, I had promised you I will find a way to help her but I can't do that if you take her away"
She stayed to him, Lucian was acting out of love for his mate and she understood that.
"Taking her away would not stop you from doing that Luna" he said and turned around to leave.
"What if she hurts you, she had stabbed you last time what if she does it again" she asked reminding him of what the sirens had done to him.
"She is my mate and my responsibility, I will handle that by myself" he said without looking back.
He was tired of them acting like his mate was the villain when she was just the victim, he knew he would never do that to Bella if she were the one the Sirens had used as a host.
Bella and Alpha Coast watched him go without saying anything to stop him further.
After he was out of their sight, Bella turned to leave too when Coast held her hand,
She pushed his hands of her and looked at him,
"What do you have to say huh?" She knew he wanted to speak to her.
"I asked you several times if you were hiding something from me but you denied it all. Now that the truth is out do you have the guts to lie to my face again?" She stated.
Bella felt terrible that she had to hear about his secret from someone else, if he had told her first then she wouldn't be as mad as she was now.
"I just couldn't face you because I knew how you would react, you would see me differently" he answered.
Alpha Coast wanted to be the perfect mate in Bella eyes, she never wanted her to know about his terrible past and the things he had done.
His life was horrible before she came into his life and since that day he had tried to change just for her.
"Do you think it was nice to hear it from someone else, I am your mate Coast, you are not supposed to hide anything from me" she corrected him and he felt sad.
"I just didn't want you to see me as a monster" he let out the reason he had for Jodi g the truth from her.
"You are a monster, a monster who killed his own father, a monster who tried to kill the mate of his Gamma just now and a monster who could lie to his mate.
Don't you ever show your face to me anymore because you will hate my reaction" she warned murmuring as she went back to her house.
She couldn't stay in the same room with him anymore after she had just found out what he did.
"What kind of son would kill his own father" she asked herself and he heard her, his limbs became numb and he couldn't follow her anymore.
Her words left a stab in his heart and he knew he wouldn't recover quickly from it.
Bella reached home and shut the door behind her so that he couldn't come in, she didn't want to face him anymore and needed test from everything.
