At the Dark moon pack, Rebecca barged into Lily's room without notice,
"Three days have passed Lily, do you think I was messing around when I told you I won't hesitate in exposing you" Rebecca blurted out to her in a fit of rage.
She had expected Lily to tell the Alpha about the truth behind her pregnancy but none of that was happening.
"You know it is not that easy to tell him, the Alpha gets furious at just the slightest of things, if I tell him this then I would sure be beheaded" Lily said in fear of what the outcome might be.
Alpha Reid had so easily killed the omega who tried to poison her, if he were that ruthless then how much more what he would do to her if he found out the truth.
"That's not my business, you put yourself in this mess so you settle it yourself" Rebecca answered taking a seat on her bed. She held her head high with a smirk in her face.
"I am trying to talk to him but each time I do, I become afraid and walk away. This is not easy for me" Lily expressed.
"You should have thought of that before you got yourself involved with the chief guard, what were you thinking.
Look Lily, a few weeks ago, you rubbed your presence off on me claiming you would be the Luna and now that your secret is all out, you are actually scared.
I do not have any sympathy for you, it is either you tell the Alpha about that child or I will" she warned.
Three days ago, Rebecca wasn't bothered about if she told the Alpha her truth or not because she had made plans to get rid of the child with poison, now that the plans had failed and she was saved on just the nick of time.
She resorted back to that plan to help her regain the Luna title, it was all that she had left since she couldn't bear children for the Alpha to fight for it.
"You and I both know the consequence of telling him the truth, I will die Rebecca.
Is that what you want for me?" She asked her looking all sad and moody but Rebecca was unmoved by it, she didn't pity her one bit and wanted to get rid of her immediately.
She hated the fact that Lily was pregnant in the first place even though it wasn't actually the Alpha's child.
"I don't care" she replied harshly without looking at her, she didn't want a chance where she would have to feel self pity to her. She wanted to be be void of any emotions for her.
Lily accepted her cruel fate that Rebecca would never pity her,
"I can't do it" she stated.
"What did you just say?" Rebecca asked, she couldn't actually believe that lily would try to defy her despite the evidence that she had against her.
"I said I can't do, I can't tell the Alpha about it" she stated.
"Listen here Lily, I don't know where you instantly got the courage to defy me but this is not a game.
If you don't want to tell the Alpha that the child isn't truly his then I might as well just help you.
Your defiance means nothing to me" Rebecca said and walked towards the door, she pulled the door knob about to leave when Lily blocked her path and closed the door.
She went down on her knees and grabbed her right leg,
"Please spare me Rebecca" she pleaded.
When she heard that Rebecca was going to tell the Alpha the truth, she thought of the worst. She could be killed at the spot, she could be beheaded, she could have her child killed. Richard would also be punished for impregnating her and she couldn't deal with that.
"Why should I do that?" Rebecca asked pleased with her down on her knees to beg her, it made her feel like a Queen who had all the power which ofcourse she did because she knew her secret.
"You are a woman too and you know what it means to be in love, to have a family.
My child is everything to me and I can't afford to harm him" Lily reached out to motherly side, Rebecca acted like a mother to her from the first moment she stepped in the pack.
"I am a woman but I am not stupid like you.
I will ask you one Question, Did the Alpha promise to make your son the next Alpha?" She asked raising her head up to her, she could easily tell when Lily was lying so she watched her closely.
"Yes, he did" Lily answered and she scoffed in response.
It was just a couple moments ago that she thought about it, with the pregnancy Lily had and the fact that she would soon be the Luna in a few days, it made her realize that her son would be the next Alpha of the pack irrespective of whoever's child came next. She couldn't let that happen.
"I will give you two days to tell the Alpha or I will, and believe me Lily when I saw I will tell the Alpha about it if you don't.
You have just two days" Rebecca stated and pushed her off her, she walked out through the open door and Lily just watched her in a pitiful state.
She was thrown into total confusion, she thought she could convince Rebecca to let her go but things didn't turn out as she planned.
She glared at the closed door and her eyes darkened.

Late in the night, Lily snuck out of the pack house visiting Richard, he opened the door immediately he heard her voice and was shocked that it was truly her he was seeing.
"What brings you here?" he asked calmly, he didn't her to see that he was broken and hurt after she left him for the Alpha.
"I am really sorry for leaving you, please forgive me" she pleaded holding his hand while his back was turned against her.
"Is that all you came for?" He asked with a cold face.
"I know what I did was wrong and you didn't deserve such treatment, I was blinded by greed because I believed that I could be the Luna and my son could be the next Alpha" she stated.
"So what has changed now" he replied.
"The truth that I can't live without you, I have missed you so much Richard and I want you back in my life" she stated convincing him with her words.
Richard sharply turned to her, his eyes were full of affection after she said that, he couldn't hold back his happiness as he kissed her.
"I was so broken without you in my life, I thought I had lost you to the Alpha.
Each day my work in the pack house became so heavy for me and I also got to hear news about your Luna ceremony, everything weighed me down Lily.
I was slowly losing my mind" he blurted out to her and she smiled.
Lily still had him in her grasp and it was a good advantage to her, she knew he would do anything to protect her and the child so she needed him for her next plan.
"I too was going crazy, every time our child kicked, I wish you were there to hear it. I couldn't thank you enough for saving my life and that of our child, if you hadn't come earlier then our child would be dead by now" she thanked him for saving her right in the nick of time.
After he took her to the hospital, he wasn't given a chance to see her again so she couldn't thank him properly.
"Our child, it's been a while since I last heard that.
I missed you so much Lily" he said caressing her face, he kissed her lips once again longing for more, he had missed her so much that it was driving him crazy.
"I missed you too" she answered and kissed him back.
Richard was able to persuade her to spend the night with him and she agreed. He slept so peacefully that night with Lily in his arms, he felt complete now that she was back to him.
Richard woke up the next morning to see Lily was actually up, she had a lot on her mind that she didn't notice he was up.
"What's wrong?" He asked concerned.
"Have you ever thought about being an Alpha?" She questioned.
Richard was startled by such a question,
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"Have you?" She asked again.
"No, my family has always served Alphas their entire life, i am carrying on their legacy" he stated proud of that.
"Really,
So my son is also going to be guard serving another Alpha, perhaps one of these mistresses son?" She lashed out on him furiously.
"Don't take it that way, being a guard is not that bad?" He reasoned with her but little did he know that she was gaslighting him.
"You think it is not that bad, Alpha Reid had promised my child to be the next Alpha of this pack instead of accepting it, I choosed you and here you are telling me that he would be a guard serving another Alpha when he could be an Alpha himself" she got off the bed and away from him.
"Lily, why are you making it look like being a guard is an offense besides he would be a chief guard like me" he further defended.
"Chief guard, do you think that is a good title to brag about?" She yelled at him.
Richard was startled by her reaction, it was too early for her to act that way, he tried to brush it off thinking it is just a pregnancy symptoms.
"You are getting mad over nothing" he stated.
"Oh, you think I am getting mad over nothing now.
I am struggling for my life, your child is about to be killed and you are telling me I am struggling over nothing" she lashed out on him.
"What are you talking about, who is threatening your life?" He asked confused by her choice of words.
"She knows about us, about you being the father of my child" she relayed to him puzzling him the more.
"Who knows about us?" He moved closer to her.
"Rebecca,
She knows and she has threatened to tell the Alpha if I don't tell him. I have only two days left" she uttered.
"What!" He exclaimed frozen.
"Don't you just stand there, do something?" She screamed at him,
"What do you want me to do?" He inquired.
"We have to get rid of her or else we die" she said.
