Bella and Alpha Coast were now in his chambers behind close doors, she held a poised face to not show him that she was scared of what he might as of her.
“Do you really mean what you said earlier, you would anything I ask you” he questioned,
“Yes” she answered with her head held up high, it was now her duty to protect the boy and make sure he went through no harm.
“Do you know him?” He asked and she shaked her head.
“But you are willing to do anything for him”
Alpha Coast was a bit jealous that she would do that for just a little boy, he was her mate and wanted her to only care about him and not some random boy she knew nothing about making him look like the villain.
“Yes” she answered.
“If I tell you to strip and give your body to me, would you be able to do that?” He asked waiting to see if she would accept his offer and not think twice about it.
Bella summed up courage and was about pulling her dress down to show him that she was serious when he stopped her.
Somehow he got mad that she wanted to do that, making it look like the bond between them was just a deal and would turn out to be nothing more.
“I have a better idea, accept to be my Luna” he demanded.
Bella was still referred to as the bride of Alpha Coast because she hadn’t had her Luna ceremony, Alpha Coast couldn’t bring it up because each time she was referred to as the Luna, she would get fired up and react.
“Fine, I will be your Luna” she stated firmly and a smirk erupted on his face.
“You realize that there would be a Luna ceremony for you to officially announce you as my Luna” he reminded her.
“Must that be done?”
She just wanted it to be quiet, only a few people would know that she was his Luna and she could cope with it that way but a Luna ceremony was a bit off the top.
“Yes” he sat on a chair making her stand there like she was a maid being interrogated.
“Then that is two things, if you want the ceremony to happen then I have to give my own terms” she said making him baffled by her words.
“How am I requesting two things from you?” He inquired not sure of what she meant by that.
“Being your Luna is 1 but adding a Luna ceremony is 2, two things” she explained folding her arms looking sternly back at him.
Alpha Coast let out a chuckle, his feisty little mate was really something.
“Okay, let me hear your conditions” he agreed to hear her out.
“I would accept to be your Luna for three years and then after that you can set me free” she bargained.
Alpha Coast stood up shocked, he had not expected that from her, did she really want so much to stay away from him. Was he really that bad that she would hate him so much despite the mate bond and the fact that they were mates.
He could feel a growing pride in him, if she wanted to leave him then he might as well not hold her back.
“Agreed” his ego answered instead of himself and Bella smiled.
“Just three years and I am out of here but don’t worry I will kill you before I leave” she muttered to herself.
“What was that?” He could hear her whisper but no words came out.
“Nothing, may I leave now” she requested and he nodded.
Once Bella left, Alpha Coast fell to his seat sad, did being mates really mean nothing to her, first she had attempted to Reject him and now she had made a deal to leave him after three years. It didn’t settle well with Alpha Coast not now that he was already feeling something for her.

In a tiny little room in the castle, A young slender lady in her twenties sat on a chair wearied and scared for her life, she kept rubbing her hands together in fear.
The door opened and she immediately sprung up frightened.
“It’s okay, it’s me” Beta Arthur said to calm her down, he took a moment to watch her and he smiled.
Today had been the happiest day of his life, he had finally found his mate after years of waiting, how he found her was what he would call a fair miracle,
Beta Arthur was making a head count of the refugees who had just crossed the border and sent them towards the castle when he found someone hiding behind a tree. She had cuts and injury all over her body and feet were swollen which meant she had been running for a while.
He walked closer to her and that was when the most intoxicating scent breached his nose, the scent of peaches mixed with spring. His legs went faster than before and he stretched his hands to her.
“Hi beautiful” he said as he looked into her delicate blue eyes, he could tell she also felt the mate bond because she couldn’t take her eyes off him and neither could he.
“It’s not safe here, come with me” he instructed holding her hand and he kept her safe in the room until now.
“Are you okay?” As he watched her shake in fear, she was scared of a lot of things and he wondered what horror she had to go through to make her act like that.
“And who is that?” Gamma Lucian intruded, he had followed him a while back and watched him sneak into the room.
“What are you doing here?” Beta Arthur asked surprised, his mate was hidden behind him in fear of Gamma Lucian.
“I saw you sneaking in here so I followed you, who is she? I have never seen her around the castle before” Gamma Lucian answers plainly. It was his first time of seeing her because the omega’s serving in the castle were few and one could identify them by their faces.
“She is my mate” Beta Arthur answered.
“You found your mate, she looks shy. What’s her name?” He asked.
It was at that point that Beta Arthur knew he hadn’t asked the name of his mate, he slowly turned to her and she tightly hugged him.
“What’s your name dear?” He asked,
“Elaine” she answered.
“She has a beautiful name, I will leave the two of you together so that she won’t be shy anymore and lock the door Beta” he adviced.
“You won’t tell the Alpha right?” Beta Arthur asked and Lucian nodded. If Alpha Coast found out that his mate was one of the refugees who escaped from the Silverlake pack, he might kill her along with the others.
“What your name?” She asked him.
“I’m Arthur, Beta Arthur” he answered with a smile, it was indeed nice to have his mate in his arms, he had heard so many stories about it and wished he could also experience it. Right now his wish had been answered and his mate was in front of him, she may be shy and timid but he didn’t mind, as far as he had found her he was okay with it.
All he had to do was to protect her and her identity from the Alpha so that he wouldn’t have to lose her to death.
“Arthur” she verbalized his name and it sounded magical to his ears, he could wake up to his name being called like that every morning.
“Yes my dearest Elaine” he answered.
He thanked the moon goddess in his heart for giving him a mate as lovely as her, she might have gone through a lot that he knew nothing of but he was willing to make her feel secure and safe with him no matter what it takes.
