The Alpha Hidden Secret Chapter 2

"Okay. Brown Cafe tomorrow at 9 pm. Can you make it?"

If he's a man who's straight to the point, then I can be a woman who's spontaneous. Crazy. Or maybe I just want to be crazy for now.

"Okay. I can do that. "Are you on your way home from work?" inquired the man with the initials DM-Owe once more.

"The work is piling up at the end of the month," I replied with a sad crying emoji.

"I understand."

Silence...

"Well, I guess I should go to sleep."

"Yeah. See you, Alex!"

I sent a smiley and a sleeping emoji at the end of our conversation. I continued sleeping because tomorrow is the day we welcome our new boss. A polar man sent by the fire country to ignite the hearts of women. At least, that's what I heard from female employees in this office.

Supposedly, someone named Billy is handsome, but his face is cold and appears cruel. I just nodded and felt happy because I finally have a new boss. It's time for that old perverted man to leave this office.

8:30 pm

I saw a notification from a blue logo on my chat column. I opened it and read it.

"I'm on the way to Brown's."

I was startled and surprised. I almost forgot about my date with Oliver because I was immersed in this report.

I quickly grabbed my coat and scarf because the wind in December is really uncomfortable for me.

"Bye Margareth," I shouted to our main director's secretary. We became friends at the office because of our mutual craziness.

"What? Are you leaving early?"

"I have a date!" I replied impulsively while waving my hand towards her. Margareth probably didn't believe that I had a date. We always stay up late because neither of us has a lover. Margareth is also beautiful if she would take off those super thick glasses.

I got into my car and headed to Brown's. I didn't want to be late because it's not in my nature.

I entered the cafe feeling confused because I forgot to ask Oliver what he would wear. My confused face caught the attention of the cafe manager.

"Under whose name, Miss?" he asked. I almost forgot that this cafe takes reservations. I tried to mention Oliver's name, hoping that he would make the reservation for me.

"Oliver?"

The restaurant manager immediately looked at his tab and smiled. "Please follow me, Miss!"

I followed the manager and saw a man in fairly casual clothing. He wore a white shirt with a green striped sweater that I found attractive. I could see his muscular body behind his clothes. And he was wearing glasses. Just like me.

He stood up when he saw me from afar. "So gentlemanly," I thought to myself.

After the manager left, I sat down, and he greeted me. I observed him closely. Maybe this attitude is what makes men reluctant to date me. My gaze makes them uncomfortable. Suddenly, I remembered the advice from Mia and Nate, so I immediately looked down and redirected my gaze to something else. And my gaze fell on Oliver's hand.

"There's a black marker stain on his hand. Is he a teacher?" I wondered to myself.

"I'm Oliver Reid," he said while extending his hand.

"Oh, hi. "I'm Alexandra Drew," I replied while accepting his handshake.

"Oh, this is really awkward. Sorry," he said while adjusting his glasses. At a glance, I could tell he was a fairly shy guy. But to be honest, I was interested in him. He was handsome and seemed warm.

"Don't worry, you're not the only one. "This is also my first time using the app," I replied, opening my glasses.

I saw Oliver smile, and it was a lovely smile. My intuition told me he was a good guy, albeit a bit quiet.

Can I ask? Oh, Alex. Stop acting weird and behave normally. You're not a fickle woman who has to pretend to get a man's attention?

"I'm a writer. What about you?" I asked briefly. I was quite curious about the black marker stains on his hand.

"A professor."

"My guess was not off." I smiled because my guess was right.

"What guess?" Oliver's gaze was slightly probing. He even raised his eyebrows.

"You... are a teacher."

Oliver chuckled softly. "You could call me a lecturer and a teacher." I teach at a university around here."

I nodded in understanding. "I also live in this area. How long have you been here?"

"Since college. "After graduating, I decided to stay here and teach at my alma mater."

"Awesome. I'm new here, actually. Moved here because of my job."

"Oh, what do you do?" Oliver asked politely.

"I work as a freelance writer for some online media. Writing about travel, food, and lifestyle."

Oliver looked interested. "That's very interesting. I like reading articles about travel and cuisine. Do you write for any of the platforms I'm familiar with?"

I answered with a smile, "Maybe. I write for some big platforms here."

Our conversation flowed smoothly. We exchanged stories about our work and hobbies. I felt comfortable in his presence and became more interested in getting to know him.

Throughout the night, we talked about many things. About our daily lives, work, and how awkward it was to do what we were about to do. Without saying much, I knew we were here for a one night stand. I didn't expect much, and I was sure he felt the same.

With steady steps, we entered a hotel that was not far from where we had dinner. Oliver seemed protective because he didn't just let go of my hand like that. I liked it when he intertwined his fingers with mine.

However, when we were inside the hotel room, the atmosphere became awkward. I didn't know what to do. Oliver also looked hesitant. He sat on the bed while looking at me with a thoughtful expression.

"I forgive you if you don't want to continue this," he finally said.

I was silent. I felt pressure coming from myself. Somehow, I felt like I had to do this, even though I didn't really want to.

"I... don't think I'm sure either," I said after a few moments of thinking.

Oliver nodded and said, "In that case, maybe we shouldn't continue this." I don't want to make you uncomfortable."

I felt relieved hearing that. We talked a little while longer. Even though we only met briefly, I was impressed with Oliver. He seemed very kind and understanding. I hope to meet him again someday, but not for a one night stand like this.

I had to do this one night stand because of a bet I made with my friends. I intentionally stared at Oliver for a while. My eyes were focused on his lips, and I hoped I didn't have to say much to let him know I wanted to have sex.

Oliver lifted me and leaned me against the wall in a sexy way that made my imagination go wild. "You're so sexy, Alex," he whispered in my ear, making me shiver and pull him closer to me.

"You too. You're so handsome," I said, feeling horny and craving this physical connection with him. We both wanted the same thing - just sex.

It didn't take long for us to fulfill our desires. Maybe it was the wine, or maybe it was just Oliver's captivating nature, but I was highly aroused by his every touch on my skin, and he was burning with the same pleasure. I had nothing to hide from him, because I'm a grown woman with the same needs as him."

"Alex. Beyond my imagination," he said after his first release. And we repeated it again after a rest, then collapsed together. I saw Oliver sleeping with me still on top of him. Our bodies were still beautifully intertwined. One thing I noticed about Oliver was that he seemed to hold back when pursuing his pleasure. Several times, I saw him pause and hold his breath while gripping the wall before pushing himself further. But it was all worth it for the pleasure he gave me. Oliver was everything I imagined him to be - a man who could make me orgasm repeatedly with his strength.

"Oliver. You are stunning," I said as I kissed his chest and stomach. He didn't respond, and I was sure he didn't hear me anymore. I laughed as I heard him snoring.

"You're a very handsome professor, Oliver." I slowly got off his body and decided to clean up first before leaving and writing a note on the table.

I have to go. I can't find any words except one.

This is the best night of my life.

Alex.
