ZERUS immediately left the Hospital after they make love inside the hospital room, he quickly returned to his car. Before Blessy closed her eyes and fall asleep, she begged him not to leave her for the third time.
As he stared into her beautiful eyes, he felt as if his head would explode in pain. He knew he had forgotten something in his past, but he wasn't sure. He vividly recalls his youth, when he lived on the streets and suffered like a rat. He recalls living in a dumpsite for a few months and making friends, but he has no memories of Blessy. He has no memories with her and who is she in his life.
He exhaled deeply and shook his head. He needed his friend's help and he think he's going insane trying to find the woman's information in his head. He wished he could recall Blessy's lovely face from his past, but he couldn't recall anything. His mind was like a locked door.
He immediately went to his friend's private bar. When he saw him, it immediately run to him.
"You're alive, Zerus!"
He wanted to laugh at how it react. "Hello, Uno!"
"Wew! I can't believe you're really here. I clearly remember that you never ever visit my bar. It's nothing short of miracle! Zerus dude, what did you eat?"
"Misfortune."
He laughed and led him to the counter, and the majority of the people in Uno's bar were wealthy individuals. Uno rushed to the front, and it was he who served his favorite drink, which is Uno can make the perfect taste. He's good in mixing drinks. As a result, the two of them why become friends.
"What misfortune has befallen you? We're friends, that's my last check on the two of us." He grinned after putting the glass in front of him. "Ypu look like a dead batt!" laughing, he shook and mixed the drinks in front of him.
Some of the women in the bar admired his friend's abilities, particularly how he could make the bottles and glasses dance in the air. Zerus was shaken because he knew Uno wasn't just good with bottles and glasses. They're both lethal.
"How much is it?"
"It's inexpensive. Just 300k."
“Fuck! Is that how much your drink costs?"
It simply smiled and nodded. “Yes. With tax it is."
He simply shrugged and pulled out wallet. "Well yeah. Just search this—"
"Wait a minute! I'm not searching for a dead."
He laughed as he looked deeper into Uno's eyes and Uno handed him the Deadly Ono mixed drinks. Just the name of the drink is enough to empty his wallet.
"I'm kidding. Okay, who is that woman, and what terrible misfortune has befallen you?"
He drank first. "Blessy Gevarra Finlac."
"Got it!"
ZERUS can't sleep that night. It's going to be morning, and despite his heart plead him to come back at the hospital, he has no plans to do so. He had so much questions. Why and how did he forget about her? There is a part of his heart that believes they have known each other for a long time, and Blessy already owns his heart since before.
“Damn it! Who exactly are you in my life? Why can't I remember our past, if we have one?" He screamed angrily and lay down on the soft bed. Even Uno's alcohol had no effect on him.
He dialed Uno's number. "Got something for me?"
“Shit! You have to wait man, It's been only an hour since you left my bar. Just sleep dude, sleep."
"I'm afraid I can't. I really need to know that woman entire background." His head is hurting. He had this strong desire to know everything he can about the woman.
"Fuck! You're in desperate need of it. Why are you not doing it for yourself?"
“Stupid! We're both aware of how well you handle such situations. I believe you are the cyber doppelganger."
"I'm not."
"Would you like me to recall how you rounded up and played Hayes?"
He laughed on the other end of the line. "Well, I don't know what else to say. You're in command, and dude, Hudson Herrence Hayes, is a great hacker. That motherfucker is intelligent, but become stupid because of a woman."
He don't give a damn. His enemy is still the Doctor. "Stop talking wit! I badly need it right now. What a shame I paid two million just for your very expensive drink with a flavor of Muriatic."
"I want to poison you so that it tastes like that."
"Fuck you."
"Fuck you too!" And Uno hang up the call and a few seconds later he received files from him. It was password-protected. Zerus calm himself. Uno loves to fuck his mind. He did a few tricks and smoothly access the restricted files, revealing all of the woman's information since childhood.
He didn't sleep until he had finished reading all 50 pages. He also looked at the pictures of Blessy as a child and as a Juniorate Sister. He last looked at her gentle face, which was smiling in front of the camera while wearing a white veil and holding a rosary.
"Oh, yes! That's the rosary." He abruptly rose from his seat and quickly picked up the jacket he had left on the bed. He took the rosary from there and examined it. He had a strong feeling that he's the one who give it to the woman. "Who exactly are you, Blessy? Damn. I should have spent more time exploring your character, but every time I do, its like fate pulls me away from you."
When he read everything Uno sent him, it was as if something struck his heart. He was blind to the fact that he was crying. His heart ached just thinking about what she had been through. Everything is stated in the files that Uno sent to him, which he read. He didn't make any mistakes, but he couldn't read his name there. There is no indication that they had link to each other.
Zerus tugged his hair. He sighed softly as he turned off his laptop. He went straight to his bed and sat down. He needs to get some rest right now. He isn't afraid Hayes will attack him because he knows the Doctor entire focus is now on a woman named Abhaya.
He's not worried that Hayes will find him since Uno is here. His identity is currently face disabled on the entire world and not even satellites can locate him. When it comes to the cyber world, Uno can compete with Hayes abilities.
He closed his eyes and fell asleep after a while. He only awoke when his head was knocked in excruciating pain. Damn! He stood up and went to the restroom right away. His head hurt so much that he wanted to punch the wall.
He chose to shower, and he's still on his way somewhere today. Hayes isn't paying attention to him right now. Blessy is in HGOH and he has a lot of questions. They make love, and he made no apologies for claiming the woman inside the hospital room. He adores the woman, but all he wants to know is what is she to him. He wished to remember her. He wanted to remember who is she in his life and why he had forgotten about her.
"Hangover?"
When Ramona appeared unexpectedly where he was, he was no longer surprised. He's like a mushroom at times.
"Please leave me alone, Ramona. Maybe you forgot what I said?"
"That you're going to shoot bullets into my head?" She laugh it off. "Oh, I'm scared! I'm so fucking scared." It glared at the air before hurling the medicine at him. "Drink this to relieve your hangover. Tsk. What a wuss." She turned around and slammed his room door shut.
He did not drink the medicine. He was used to having a hangover. He hurriedly changed his clothes and left the house. He even heard Ramona call him, but he didn't answer. Ramona cooked her breakfast, and aside from her food that is salty to taste, it's also poisonous.
He immediately dialed his friend Doctor's number. He discovered that Blessy had left the hospital. He had no trouble keeping up. Because he knows where the woman is. He wanted to approach her and talk to her, but when he saw Blessy walk into the church, he lost his appetite. He does not go to church and does not believe in God.
He immediately reversed his car and drove to Uno's house. They haven't finished yet and he wants to know a lot about his past that he has forgotten.
BLESSY sighed as she looked at herself in the oversized mirror. She's in her room. She looked at her reflection, who was dressed in a black veil and a long robe to show that she belonged to God. Her tears streamed down her cheeks one after the other. She recalled everything. She recalled who she was. What kind of person she is.
She never related to Father Felipe. She did not grow up in the church. Everything she thought she knew was fake. She burst into tears because she couldn't bear the pain that was rushing to her heart. She tries to relax, but her tears irritate her even more. She couldn't stop them from dripping, and she couldn't stop herself from howling in pain.
“F-fender… Why… Why did you show up? Why now? Why did I forget about you? Why did you appear again when I belong to God? W-why?"
"Blessy hija," it's Father Felipe. It was standing in her room's doorway, sadly staring at her.
"Father Felipe!" As she got closer to him, her sobbing became more intense. She couldn't bear hugging Father Felipe. The Priest was her uncle and the only family member she had but it turns out its only fake afterall.
"I'm your uncle. You can explain why you're crying. It's the first time I've seen you cry."
"I remember everything, F-father Felipe. I remember who I am. I'm a terrible sinner. I'm sorry, Uncle Felipe, but I'm a bad person."
"That's all right, Blessy. You're not a bad person." Father Felipe wiped her tears away with the handkerchief he was carrying and patted her head. "I still consider you as my neice, Blessy. I'm not even your biological uncle; I consider you a blood relative and my neice. Forget about the past; what matters is that you let God uses you."
She sobbed. How could she tell the Priest in front of her about another sin she had committed with the first man she loved?
SLOWLY, Blessy took her veil from her head. She took of all her clothes. Her body was exposed in the room's large mirror. She had finished confessing everything to Father Felipe, including her memories of her past. But why is a part of her past crawling around today? She couldn't accept what had happened now that she remembered it all. She felt even worse than a gunshot wound. Her heart and mind are torn apart.
So that's why when Mother Helen introduced Fender to them where she first noviciated, she recognized him. She first noticed Fender while he was talking to the children and Mother Helen. When the man was introduced to them, her heart ached and seemed to split. When their gazes met, she felt as if she were drowning in the depths of his eyes. Blessy, on the other hand, thought it was just a test. As a result, when she never saw him again, she completely forgot about him. She was preoccupied with God's work, and it's already sufficient for her to serve the Father in Heaven.
But the man returned, and something happened to them despite the fact that it was forbidden. Even though she now belonged to God, they make love. Sinful. A sheinous crime! she sobbed again in her palm. Her body, she let the man take over and claimed her again. Fender truly come back, but he was too and she had no plans to bring back their relationship. Whatever happened with her and Fender in the past, that's all there is to it. She is determined to become a full-fledged Nun, and Fender will not be an impediment to the vocation she has chosen for herself today.
She will attempt to forget everything that happened today. She'll forget they ever met the man she adored. The man she believed she could fight for, and the man who broke her innocent heart.
“No. That's enough crying for now, Blessy. It is not your fault that you fell in love with the wrong man. It's not your fault. Forget about the time you two met. Something bad happened to you, but let's move on and forget about it. 'Please don't make yourself cry more. Nobody, not even Fender Hearst, will make you cry a second time. Just stop." In front of the mirror, she smiled. As she talked to herself, she felt relieved.
The priest, Father Felipe, is right. What she said to her was still ringing in her ears.
We were created for the pleasure of God, Blessy. Yes, we are products of our past, but we are not bound by it. God's purposes are not constrained by our hertory. He specializes in giving people a new beginning, remember that, Blessy.
She wiped her tears away and entered the bathroom. She'll take a bath, hoping that the shower will help her forget what happened today. Thanks goodness, when she's awoke earlier, Fender was not by her side. Because the truth is that she has no idea how to deal with him.
She went straight to her room after taking a bath and carefully putting on her clothes. She took great care not to move her wound. She went to bed and lay down carefully. She was grateful to whoever shot her. She awoke after a long sleep as a result of what had happened. She used to believe that the faces she kept seeing were just a part of her dream. Those repetitive scenarios and voices were just nothing but dream.
She's ready to sleep when she glance the open window. She carefully stood up and approached the window she had forgotten to close.
"Blessy."
When the man who was the cause of her tears appeared in front of her, she backed away. Her eyes widened and she turned to look in the opposite direction. Her heart was pounding.
"Get away from here. I'm going to sleep."
"No!" It jumped in front of her in an instant. His entire outfit is black, and he's wearing a mask. "Blessy, we need to talk."
“P-please? Get out of here. Let us forget whatever happened earlier. I don't want to go back in time to any point in my life." She took a step back. She didn't want to get too close to him, and she didn't want to look into his gray eyes.
"That's why I've come. I'd like to know you! I'd like to remember you. I'm curious about who you are in my life."
She immediately looked up and stared at him. There was no emotion in his eyes as she stared at him, and Blessy knew she would drown at his stares in a few seconds. She was shaken and looked down. If what she heard was right, she wasn't the only one who had forgotten. He also does.
"Ignore what happened—"
"I'm afraid I can't. I can't fucking do it!" Fender grabbed of her one arms. "We make love and do you think I'll be able to forget about it? No! Now tell me, who exactly are you in my life? Why do I have the impression that you are a important part of my being that has been lost? Blessy, who exactly are you?!"
She bit her lower lip not to cry as she saw Fender's visible anger and confusion now. His eyes were full of questions as she stared at him, his hand tightly gripping her arm.
"Please let me go. Please, I need to rest."
"All right," he said.
But she wasn't expecting him to suddenly pull her arm closer to him, kissed her and hug her around the waist. What happened after that weakened her knee. It was only when they were both chasing the air that it moved away from her.
"I'll only leave if you tell me what we've been through."
"We don't have a past—"
“This. Who gave it to you?"
She gasped as she took out the rosary from him. Previously, she mistook it for a gift from her late mother.
"It's mine! How dare you steal it from me?"
"Bullshit! Just tell me who give you that!"
"Swearing is not permitted here!"
He refused to budge. Fender just staring at her, and she had no idea what was going through his mind. She secretly hoped that Fender would leave her alone and allow her to rest. She lacked the courage to tell him their past. Their past will only harm both of them. It's best not to think about it. It's a good thing Fender doesn't know who she is.
"I'll be right back, Blessy. Be prepared. Because I'll make certain that I claim you repeatedly until you tell me everything."
The man vanished in front of her and jumped out the window before she could react. She clutched her heart weakly and didn't know what to do in these moments. She clutched the rosary and stared at it.
Father, my God! Please give me courage. This is just a trial. Give me courage.
So she moved to a different room that night. She also begged Father Felipe to take her back to Felopina. It would be better if she stayed there. Far from the man. Fender is unlikely to visit that town, so she should go there for the time being. She didn't keep anything from the Priest, whom she considered a family member. She informed her that the man she had so adored had arrived in her room. So Father Felipe agreed to drive her back to Felopina, but she wasn't with Sister Pearl.
When the children saw her, they immediately greeted her. They cried with joy, and she embraced them. They played together when Mother Jean approached her, surprised.
"Didn't you say you'd be back next year? Wait a minute, what happened to your shoulder?!"
She simply smiled at the elderly Sister and said, "Long story, Mother. However, I'll tell you later."
She signed of the cross. "Goodness Sister! I don't think you were careful when you returned to Manila, but you know you're welcome here."
She just smiled and walked behind Mother Jean. She'll try to forget Fender once more in this place. She'll also forget what happened to them at the hospital that night. All she's going to do is forget him.
