Roxy POV
I gather number three and have her dress to escort me to Damien’s house. It is essential I do not go alone. I know master thinks I will be okay, but I feel someone should be with me just in case Damien does something rash. I do not trust him. He is a bit of an odd man. I simply will feel safer if number three is with me.
I wait by the door for number three; she finally comes up the stairs. I can hear master tied up with number four. That is a bit odd. He usually loathes her. I guess he needed someone to take his mind off of Rhea.
“Come on, number three, we are on a schedule,” I say to her as she saunters to the door. She gets on my nerves sometimes. I try not to let her slowness bother me, but it does. At least she does not talk all the time.
We go out the door and get into the limo waiting for us. I am dressed to kill. I cannot wait to see Rhea. I have missed her so much. I want to know what is going on with her, but I have also missed having her around. She brings a different vibe to the mansion and to master.
We take the limo to Damien’s mansion. It is not far, so number three does not have time to ask me what is going on with this errand. I only need her to sit in the limo and be pretty. If I do not come back out, I need her to get to master and let him know. She is only there in case Damien does something horrible to me. I hope this is not as bad as I feel like it is.
Maybe Rhea is only taking a break from master and me. I thought she felt something for me. She was always asking me about my future and acting as she cared. Perhaps, I was wrong. I was only a piece of ass to her, just like I am with my master.
The limo stops in front of Damien’s mansion. I turn to number three. “Listen up, sweetheart, I need you to sit here and keep the doors locked. The driver knows to leave at the sign of trouble. If anything happens to me, get back to master and save yourself,” I say to her sternly.
“Yes, I understand. I will do as you instruct, number one,” number three says.
“I will be back as quickly as possible and hopefully with Rhea,” I say to her.
I get out of the limo when the driver comes around to open my door. When he closes the door, I motion for him to get back in the limo to wait. “You have your instructions from the master,” I say to him. He nods and gets into the limo. I am on my own in this.
I walk around the side of the mansion and follow the path to the cottage where Damien prepares the contracts. I glance over and see the witch peering out the window. Oh, you little devil, don’t even look in my direction. I do not want any trouble from her, but I am ready if she wants to play with me.
I walk up to the cottage. Rhea is in a meeting with a shapeshifter. I knock lightly on the door. I see Rhea through the window; she walks up to the door and opens it. She looks surprised to see me but smiles in an odd way.
“Do we have an appointment today, number one?” Rhea asks.
“No, but I needed to speak with you. It is urgent,” I say to her.
“Would you like me to call Damien?” Rhea asks me.
“No, I would only like to deal with you,” I say to her.
“Give me a moment,” she says to the shapeshifter.
Rhea motions for me to follow her out of her office and into the joining office. “Damien is out, but if you wait a moment, I can help you,” Rhea says.
“Rhea, I came to see if you are okay. You have not returned any of my calls or the masters' call. You are not even responding to our emails. We are concerned for your well-being,” I say to her.
Rhea looks at me, puzzled. She is confused and seems not to know me. “Rhea, are you okay?” I ask her.
“Yes, I am fine. I do not have any idea what you are talking about, and I answer all my calls and emails,” Rhea says.
“No, Rhea, you are avoiding us,” I say to her.
“Who is us?” Rhea asks.
“Master, and I miss you,” I say to her.
Rhea steps back from me as I try to touch her. “I do not know you like that; please do not touch me,” Rhea says to me.
“Rhea, I know all of you. I know about the little birthmark and the way you arch your back when you cum. I know how you like it and how you don’t like it. I know every intimate detail about your sexual and personal life,” I say to her.
“How? How do you know about me?” Rhea asks me meekly.
“Because Rhea, we have been spending a lot of time together. I thought we had something special between us. What did he do to you to make you forget?” I ask her.
“I have no idea what you are talking about, number one,” Rhea says.
“You call me Roxy, and you have the master call me Roxy,” I say to her.
Rhea seems to recognize that name for some reason. “I know you are one of Soul’s women. You are his number one. I do not know you by any other name,” Rhea says.
I pull Rhea to me and kiss her softly. She pulls back from me. “Remember Rhea, Remember me, Remember touching me and sharing me. Remember our conversations about my future,” I say to her.
Rhea looks to have a twinkle in her eye when Damien busts into the office.
“What the fuck are you doing here, number one?” he asks in an angry tone.
“Damien, I want to terminate my contract. I come to ask for help from Rhea,” I say to him.
Damien smiles and laughs at the thought. “I will look it up and call you. Now leave; she has clients to see,” Damien says to me.
“It was good to see you, Rhea,” I say to her.
“Oh, Number one, don’t ever come back here without an appointment with me, got it!” Damien yells as I exit the office.
I run out of Rhea’s office and out the cottage door. My heart is racing as I try to get back to the limo. I am terrified. I look over as I run up the stone path. I see the witch smiling at me. No, you will not get me bitch! I keep running until I get to the limo. I jump inside and slam the door.
“Get us out of here, now,” I scream.
The limo driver starts the car and drives away. I am still petrified as we drive away. He has done something terrible to her. She has no memory of Soul or me or our time together at all. He has changed her.
We pull into the driveway. I do not wait on the driver to open the door. I run into the house and up the stairs to Soul. I need to tell him everything that is going on with Rhea.
I rush through the door, and there he is, the fucking pig in bed with three of the women. “Do you even care for her at all?” I scream at him.
“Yes, I do,” Soul says as number five sucks his cock.
“Really, that is why I am out trying to help her, and you are here fucking three women. She is in trouble, you piece of shit!” I scream at Soul.
“How dare you talk to me that way, you bitch!” Soul screams back at me.
“Fuck you, master. I am packing my things and leaving. You can have all of this without me. I have been with you for a long time. I am done. It is over,” I scream.
“Wait! Stop!” Soul screams as I run out of the room.
I go downstairs and grab a bag from under my bed. I start cramming things into my bag. I stop for a moment and cry. I want Rhea to be okay. Am I the only one who cares for her? These stupid men just use her and abuse her. I do not care if she never wants to see me again. I only need her to be okay and away from all of this.
Soul knocks on the door of my room. “GO away!” I scream at him.
“I am sorry, Roxy. I do care about Rhea, and I care about you. Please do not leave me,” Soul says.
I sit and think for a moment.
“Today, when Damien caught me at the office, I told him I wanted to terminate my contract. Maybe I should leave. That way, Rhea would have to come to see me. Maybe he would let her if I am away from you,” I say to Soul.
“Go, but you always have a home here. Do whatever you need to make sure Rhea is safe,” Soul says.
He comes over to me and hugs me. “She has no memory of us. He wiped her memory of us, Soul,” I say. I begin to cry into Soul’s naked chest.
“The witch wiped her memory. Go to a hotel. Let me know where you are, and I will be in touch with you,” Soul says.
I grab my bag and exit the room. “Take a cab, not the limo, in case Damien is watching us,” Soul says.
I go upstairs and call a cab. I do not say anything to the other women. I sit outside and wait for my taxi.
Rhea POV
I am shook after the intrusion from number one or Roxy, whatever she is calling herself. All I know is she belongs to Soul. She was talking crazy when she came in here while I was trying to work. She knows me and my desires; what kind of crazy talk is that?
Damien sits down in front of my desk after the shapeshifter and his partner leave. “What did that woman say to you?” he asks.
I know I should not tell him everything she said. Something tells me not to be honest with him. “Well, she was very nervous and asking me questions. I think she wants out of her contract with Soul,” I say to Damien.
Damien leans closer to me. “Interesting, I wonder why she wants out of it. I wonder what happened that made her decide to leave finally,” Damien says.
“I do not know. Should I help her?” I ask.
Damien seems to ponder the question. “Let me think about it first. I will let you know how to proceed with number one. Until then, I will handle anything related to Soul,” Damien says sternly.
“No problem. My workload is vast anyway. I do not need another case to handle,” I say to him.
“I need to leave for a while. I want to check on a few things,” Damien says.
“Do you want me to go with you?” I ask him.
Damien looks at me oddly. “No, I think I can handle this one myself,” he says.
“Okay. I have another appointment in a few minutes,” I say.
“Would you like to have dinner with me tonight?” Damien asks.
“I would love to have dinner with you tonight, sir,” I say.
“Good, I will be back. Be ready when I get back. We are going on an adventure,” Damien says.
I wonder what in the hell that means, an adventure. I get the file out for my next appointment to look over it before they arrive. I swear I cannot remember anything the last few days.
Wait! What was it Roxy said to me? Remember Rhea. What did she mean, remember? What else have I forgotten about in the last few days?
I get up from my desk, and I lock the door. I want my next appointment to knock, and I do not want Damien to come in while I go through the file cabinet.
I go to the S cabinet. I pull it out and look for Soul. I skim through rapidly but see nothing. I know I did some work on this case at some point, but I cannot remember anything about him or his case.
I slow down and pull every file looking at each of them. There is nothing about Soul in this cabinet. It has to be in Damien’s office. I will have to wait to go in there. My appointment will be here any moment. I will look after they leave. I cannot take the chance on them telling Damien. Hell, I cannot take the chance of Damien coming back and catching me in his office again.
I unlock the door, and a vampire is standing at the door about to knock. “Hi,” I say to him.
“Hello, Rhea,” he says. A woman accompanies him. The two come into my office and have a seat at my desk.
“I have everything ready for you to look over. It is a ten months contract, correct?” I say to them.
Ten months is odd even for this business. I am not going to ask why; I just write it up and let them handle their own business.
“Correct, ten months should be plenty of time for what I need. If not, I will contact you to renew,” he says.
“Alexander and I do not have her name,” I say to him.
“You may refer to her as my pet,” Alexander says.
“Okay, your pet will need to sign her real name on all of these documents, and I will mail you both a copy after Damien checks it off,” I say to him.
I look at her. Why is she with him? Oh, it has to be the astronomical amount of money he is paying her to be his pet for the next ten months.
“Do you need me to go over how to terminate the contract or reasons for termination?” I ask her.
“There is no need, my love. I am in this for the full ten months, maybe longer,” she says.
I wait patiently as the two finish the paperwork. He keeps looking at me oddly. What is it with everyone looking at me so strangely today? I feel like something is wrong with me the way people are treating me. Remember Rhea, those words ring in my ears. Remember Rhea.
“Miss Rhea, “ Alexander says.
“Sorry, I did not get much sleep last night,” I say as I take the paperwork from the two of them.
“I am sure you did not. Would it be okay if I stop and say hello to the witch? We go way back, and I would love to say hello,” Alexander asks me.
“Damien is not here, but enter at your own risk,” I say to Alexander.
“Very well, come my pet. I want you to meet an old friend,” Alexander says.
“Hey, watch your step. I had a nasty fall going into her house,” I say.
Alexander smiles and laughs at this. “What is so funny?” I ask him.
“Nothing, I am sure my pet will make the same misstep as you did,” Alexander says.
The two of them go out of the cottage. What the fuck did he mean by that? I stand at the window and watch Alexander and his pet goes into the witch’s hut. I want to know what is going on out there, but I cannot get too close.
I watch as Alexander and his pet go in, and it almost looks like she is watching me watch her. Why does she care what I see anyway? I am going to get a little closer. What is she going to do? Tell Damien I was wandering around. Hell, I am concerned about my client walking around without Damien here.
I walk down the cobbled walkway toward the cottage. The vampire and his pet are all inside the cottage now. I can see movement and something going on in there.
“Rhea!” I hear my name from behind me.
I don’t stop. I keep walking to the cottage. “Rhea! Stop! NOW!” Damien screams from behind me.
I turn around and look at him. “Come here now!” He screams at me.
I walk back up the cobblestone walkway to Damien. “What the fuck are you doing?” Damien asks.
“Alexander and his pet are at the cottage. I did not think anyone was supposed to go down there,” I say to him.
“So you were going down there instead of calling me to handle it. I told you not to go down there without me,” Damien says.
He grabs my wrist and starts pulling me back to the house. “Damien, you are hurting me. Please stop,” I say to him.
He doesn’t stop dragging me. “Shut up, Rhea,” Damien says. What a fucking prick! He pulls me into the house and up the stairs.
“Where are you taking me?’ I ask him. He says nothing. He keeps tugging at me until we reach his bedroom. “Sit down and shut up! I will be back. Do not move until I return, or there will be punishment coming your way,” Damien says.
Damien goes out the bedroom door. I hear the lock click. This asshole locked me in his damn bedroom. I sit on the bed and wait for a minute. The words number one said to me ringing in my ear. Remember Rhea, Remember. What is it I need to remember?
Fuck this! I go to the window and look out to see if I can get a view of what is happening outside. After a few minutes, I see Alexander carrying his pet in his arms. What did he do to her? No, what did that witch do to her?
Damien looks up and spots me looking out the window. Fuck, I wonder what he will do to me. Something is going on with me, and something damn sure is going on with that witch in the cottage.
I hear Damien coming through the door. He slams it hard and races up the stairs, stomping. He is mad as hell at me. I sit down on the bed and wait for him to return.
I hear the click of the lock opening. Damien comes to me. He lifts my face by my chin. “I told you to stay put,” Damien says.
“I did not leave the room, Damien,” I say to him.
“What did you see out the window, Rhea?” he asks me, grinding his teeth and releasing his fangs as he asks me.
“I saw Alexander carrying his pet across the grounds. Is she hurt? Did she fall? What are you afraid I saw?” I answer him with a question.
“Nothing, Rhea. There is nothing to see. That woman is dangerous. Stay away from the cottage,” Damien says to me.
“So are you going to punish me now, sir?’ I ask him.
“Why would I hurt you, Rhea? I love you,” Damien says.
“What?” I ask him. “This is not love. This is something twisted and sick,” I shout at him.
“Oh, Rhea, I want you now; take off your clothes for me,” Damien demands.
“No, I am leaving,” I say to him.
Damien grabs my arm and looks me in the eye. “Be compliant, Rhea,” he says to me.
I smile at Damien, my love. “Yes, sir,” I say, taking off my clothes to please him.
