The Extra's Indifference

Awakening in a fantasy novel, he finds himself an extra with striking good looks and latent abilities, a stark contrast to his erased past. This perfect exterior, however, carries a severe cost: his emotions, desires, and even the sensation of pain are dulled. Initially, this perceived freedom allowed him to disregard a grim, apocalyptic future and pursue his desires without repercussions. Yet, a persistent and inexplicable boredom began to wear down his mental state. Adrift in a world filled with intrigue and approaching disaster, a world he can barely recall from a forgotten novel, he recognizes the need for an equally extraordinary solution. He contemplates whether ending all life might be the answer to the looming apocalypse and a path to his own resolution.
