I snapped my eyes open with an unsteady breathing. My alarm beeped again reminding me I
was late for school. I turned to the alarm and shut it off.
I left the bed and went to the bathroom to shower up. Time spent evolving me pondering weird
nightmares.
"Ellie, breakfast is served." A voice interrupts my thoughts. I sighed, moved away from the
shower and got into my bathrobe.
I searched through piles of clothes in my closet and finally settled on a pair of ankle length jeans
with a graphic tee. I carried my bag pack and exited the bedroom for dinner.
My dad looked at me and smiled. I returned the smile and settled on a chair opposite Julia who
didn't spare a glance. I shrugged and took a sip from my coffee.
"Are you alright?" My mom's worried voice asked me. I smiled faintly and nodded, I started
picking my food into my mouth.
Joyce"
"Mom calls out to the house help.
In sprint seconds, I noticed a figure standing beside me but I didn't look up.
"Drink the milk, it will help you calm down."
I lifted my head beside me and collected the milk from Joyce. I gulped it down at once,"Thanks,
Joyce. It really helped" I thanked her and she left.
"Good morning, Mr. and Mrs Wilson '' My boyfriend,Jake, greeted me from the doorway. I looked
up and smiled at him. "The nerd is here, '' Julia whispered, loud enough for me to hear. I glared
at her and ignored her.
Julia had always hated me since I came into their lives. I'm just like an enemy who snatched her
parent's attention towards her. I've never flown with her as a sister and I avoided her in any
possible way but she finds a way to bully me.
And for Jake, he always takes me to school since we started dating, we started dating last year
and it's pretty cool. I think he loves me and I do like him, I am hoping to return his feelings soon.
And I also have a female and a male friend, Tyson and Molly. They're just great and our
friendship has been really good.
I wiped my mouth and kissed my foster parents goodbye and left with Jake. We walked into the
car and off he drove off.
"Are you okay?, babe" I looked at him and gave a smile. "I'm fine, Jake." I replied and turned
back to the window. And the rest of the drive was awkwardly quiet, not that I don't like it anyway.

I alighted and Jake and I walked into the school building. I walked towards my locker to check
my timetable for today. I found I had physics this morning.
I took out my physics textbook and closed my locker. I turned and gasped when I saw Tyson
and Molly other than Jake.
I looked behind and found Jake leaning by his locker. "I have English this morning. I'll get going
then." He walked a few steps to me and kissed my right cheek and left. I turned back to those
piercing eyes of Tyson and expected him to say something.
"
"That's gross. Not even on the lips." I scoffed. "You know Tyson, i do not like it on the lips"
Awkward. Is he really your boyfriend?Ellie." Molly asked.
"Don't ask me stupid questions." I pushed them aside and continued my journey to the physics
class.
That's by the way, I heard rumors that we have two new hot guys in school" Molly squealed
and I turned. "Really?"
They are smokingly hot. Shit, you need to see them"
"I turned back again. "That's cool. But it isn't my concern right now. I'm fucking busy with
something"
"Yeah, right?. Busy doing nothing" I could feel her rolling her eyes right now.
I'm doing something okay, and besides they won't be that hot compared to Tyson"
"Yes, Ellie. That's why I like you. You're always truthful compared to these ones already blinded
by fake guys."
And you think you're any better, dude you're ugly"
I knew I stirred up trouble as they bickered at each other behind my back.
I stopped at the door of the class and turned. "Alright fellas. I've reached my destination. You
two can continue on your way to your classes." I waved them bye and walked into the class, I
found an empty seat beside the window.
Few minutes later, the physics teacher came in and started teaching while I jolted down on my
notebook.
"Newton's law of dynamics then indicates that the time derivative of the amount of motion is
equal to the sum of the forces acting on the system." She stopped and I looked up. I trace her
eyes on a guy at the door. "I'm sorry, teacher. I really had a hard time locating the physics class"
"I'm Mrs Addison. You must be the new student, right?" She asked.
Yeah. I'm Stefan Brown. A new student"
"Aww. He's so cute, ``a blonde girl said behind me. I cleared my throat and checked him out.
*Cute gray eyes, short curly hair, tall and muscle built like that of a mafia boy, with strong
cheekbones and hard looking arms similar to an agent. Well, kinda hot on a white tee shirt on
blue ripped jeans.*
"You sit beside Miss Wilson." Mrs Addison said pointing at me. Our eyes met and I looked away
to the empty chair beside me.
"Really, he's sitting beside you. I wish we could exchange seats." I ignored the blonde and
looked down at my jolter nervously tapping my pen on it.
"The law of dynamics then indicates that these internal forces do not change the amount of
movement of the global system." The teacher began.
And everything she said afterwards went from the right ear to the other. Fuck!. I was sitting very
close to this dude who couldn't take his eyes off me.
"Damn!!. You're staring too much." I finally whispered out. "Was I?. You're beautiful." I can't
believe he said that.
Mehn!. My cheeks turned red and I tried really hard to hide my face. Get a hold on yourself. You
have a boyfriend.
"Miss Wilson. "
"Yeah?" I looked up immediately. "What?" There were chuckles from my mates.
Three laws of dynamics?" Damn this woman.
The students looked at me and I straightened up ready to do what I know best. I cleared my
throat, "In the first law, we've come to understand that an object will not change its motion
unless a force acts on it."
"The second law states that the force on an object is equal to its mass times its acceleration.
And, finally, the third law states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction." I
answered perfunctorily.
"That's right. But I'd like it if you paid less attention to Stefan Brown." The class roared into
laughter leaving me embarrassed.
