Iris's POV
"What did you just say?"
"Uh!"
"I heard you, what did you just say?"
"If you heard me why asked?"
"You are unbelievable." He scoffed turning his gaze from me, the place is far from the castle, so this is what this demon wanted me to walk, saying it was punishment. "Stupid punishment"
"Here we are get off the car."
"Where are the others?"
"Don't ask me questions, just follow my leads." I rolled my eyes, and as I walked behind him, he start taking off his t-shirt leaving just his pants.
"What is he doing? Can't he leave his shirt on?" I wanted to turn from him but then I realized that those bruises from last night, they are gone, his skin is spotless, as if he never had those bruises. "They are gone." I murmured but he turned, his gaze meeting mine, I lower my gaze fast, fidgeting with the Hem of my shirt. That was fast, I never expected him to heal that fast, if he could heal that fast why is his face not getting Better?
"Get down.'
"What?'
'I said down, push-up 100 times."
"Is he kidding me, how could I do that?"
"Stop thinking little one, get down." His husky voice force me to fall on my feet, and I did the push-up, this is tiring, can't he say something reasonable? it's not even up to twenty before I fall
"What are you doing?"
"Sorry!!!" I said fast getting back to it, I managed to do fifty but I passed out. The sound of water splashing on me causes me to jump up. "Where am I?"
'You are such a weakling." That was the next word he said, I wiped the water off my face, as I try to sit up.
"You should rest, ten minutes, we will be back."
"I am hungry."
"It's too early to eat.'' I frown at his words, it's past 7 am, and I should be having breakfast already, does it mean that he wants to turn me into a vampire like himself?
"Stop complaining just rest." Sally's words were fast and she didn't even bother me anymore, I closed my eyes, lying on the floor, with my face up to the sky, and just when I was able to dive into dreamland that annoying voice of Rupert came up.
"Your ten minutes is up, get on your feet."
"Is it up to ten minutes?"
"Climb the trees, run like a wolf, and jump on branches." He ignores my questions giving me instructions
"Please let me rest a bit.'
"You are here to train not lazy around.' I force myself off the ground, I try to do as I was told, I try to climb the trees, the very first branch I jumped on, break and I fall off it.
"Ouch!" I howl in pain as my back meets the ground.
"Hiss!!!" I could hear that annoying signed as he move closer to me.
"You must be the worse wolf I've ever seen.'
"Yeah, rub it in, I would have made it if the very first branch, I jumped at, didn't break in two and if you did let me shift in my wolf form, I would have."
"Oh please, the strength of your wolf will show, even in your human form, with your low sense of smell..."
"I don't have a low sense of smell, if I could smell your sweet hot chocolate and mixture of coffee scent then my..."
"What did you say?" He turned and look at me, and that is when I realized what I have done, I have just blurted those rubbish, I jumped from the ground fast, standing on my feet.
"It's nothing, Rupert."
"Don't you dare use my name?" He yelled at me.
"Sorry, Prince Rupert." I said then scoffed, he move his gaze from me.
"Back to what I am saying, if you don't have enough strength, and energy to cross these branches, without falling, and you can't run fast, one of these days you will be someone's prey."
"That is the reason, I am training."
"Oh stop with your lame excuses, how can you not see that the tree is dead."
"How am I supposed to know it's a dead tree?"
"Such a dummy."
"What did you just call me? I am trying not to get mad, but this punk here is getting on my nerves."
"I said, you are such a dummy, what are you going to do about it?" He turned causing my face to hit his bare chest, my eyes move to him, and as I try to push my way from him, my hand meet his chest.
"I thought you said you don't have a heart, why is that thing in there vibrating?"
"Uh!" He look at me confused, I parted my lips to say something. "Every wolf knows that every tree girdled by a creeper is either dead or on the verge of dying.'
I sighed. 'Did he just change the topic?" He takes a step from me. I realized that your father is an alpha, but he did a very bad job in training you, he treated you like some princess that is only made for a man's bed, not even fit to be beside an Alpha, a Luna position is way too weighty for you. "You're better off a bed mate."
"What did you just call me?" When he turned to look at me, I didn't think twice, I slapped my hands across his face, how could he, he was not just disrespecting me but my wolf. I bet he next sees that coming. "Fuck you and your training, I am out of here."
I didn't fucking give a dare, I am tired of all this, how could he insult me this way, I ran as the words he said echoed in my ear, "I was good enough for only a man's bed", I hit Mason's shoulder as I ran out.
"Hey!!!"
I could hear him calling out to me but I didn't pay attention to him, I wanted to be left alone, I just don't want to see anyone, I ended up in a pool.
"Iris stop, you've been running for too long and did you have to slap him?"
"What were you expecting me to do? He insulted me."
'Not you but us, I am weak, the fault is not from you but me as well, if I were strong, I would have been more focused on sensing things not on his scent."
"Stop talking about his scent, he smells stupid, and he is not even handsome." I said scoffing, as I take my clothes off.
"What are you doing?"
"I needed to bathe, I smell awful and that arrogant brute didn't think that I should eat, if I don't eat how am I going to have strength?"
"Oh my beauty, you have a clever way of asking for a meal."
"Stop calling me that, I hate the fact that he too sees me as some sex doll." I Seethed. "Even if that is what he thinks of me, he doesn't have to say it." I huff, and slowly I make my way into the water after taking off my clothes I have no idea who owes this pool, but I don't care, I just need to cool off and forget about that stupid old man. "Aren't you done?"
"No, I am not."
"You should be fast, you don't know who this belongs to."
"Can you stop talking, it belongs to a human, that is not like that brute, punk."
"What if it's..."
"Stop talking!!!" I shut her up, pushing her to the back of my mind, as I soak myself inside the water, it's cold, this is exactly what I wanted, I swamped towards the rock, and as I lean on it, the water fell from up, touches me, it's given me some kind of solace, it's appealing and breathtaking.
And my mind wandered to those times when I and Damien will go swimming all day at the royal clubhouse and those times he will kiss me and tell me that I am the only woman he could love but he was scared that I might not be his mate and those time I will reassure him that, even if we are not mate, I will still choose him.
"How stupid?" Now that we are mates, we couldn't claim each other, we ended up like worse enemies.
Suddenly the thought of Prince Rupert invaded my brain, forcing my eyes to close, I thought it was anger that made me remember him but I don't think so, a scene of him kissing me came into my brain.
"Shit!!!' I cursed forcing my eyes to open, the sound of footsteps, it was so loud like it was that of armies, I turned to see who had come there, those pair of eyes, the atmosphere become hot and my throat went dry
