Iris's POV
"Iris!" My eyes bulge out seeing who had come, oh no, Rupert, I am going to be in trouble. I pushed the young man's hand from my waist immediately. Rupert's eyes are bloody, his gaze is strong, he was sending a dagger with his eyes, his aura is not friendly and his eyes are unfathomable, I can't even tell who is mad at me, if it's me or his brother. In a blink, Rupert pulled my hand from the young man, causing me to stand on my feet.
"Rupert, what is it this time?" The young man said pulling my other wrist, now, I am standing in the middle of these two brothers.
"Let her go." Rupert thunderous voice echoed.
"Why should I?" He asked with his hand on my wrist now Rupert's gaze was focused on me like he was asking me to make my decision about who do I want to be with? Of cause, I will choose him, I know nothing about this man, and although my wolf had senses that he is the son of the alpha and Rupert's brother, I don't know him and what he is capable of doing. Rupert stared causing the young man to be suspicious, he move his gaze from Rupert to me. "Do you know him?" I guess he is asking because I didn't show any sigh of disgust when he grabbed my hand, I nodded, and slowly he remove my hands from his.
"Stay away from her." That was all Rupert said as he grabbed me across the wood.
"Slow down you are hurting me." He didn't listen, he pushed me into the car. "Aren't we going to..."
"No, the training is over and we are going home.'
"Better, because I am fucking hungry."
"Hungry?"
"Hmm!"
"I don't think you are hungry, if you are hungry you will not be flirting with that asshole."
"What?"
"Yes, you were flirting with him and what is wrong with you, why are you always disobeying me?"
"Disobey? I did nothing, I wasn't even doing anything..."
"You were doing anything?"
"Yes!!!" I said rolling my eyes at him, in a blink he pinned me to the passenger seat. What are you doing?
"You are been disobeyed again and you should know every misdeed demands punishment and that is what..."
"Will you stop, I did nothing and you are hurting me for no good reason, he was the one that talked to me not me, what do you..."
"You should have never gone there." His soothing voice came out more of a whisper, but his breath is on my face and I am feeling uncomfortable with it, I held my breath, trying not to make a sound.
"How am I supposed to know that the pool belongs to your brother..."
"He is not my brother and you will stay away from him, if not, you will end up in the..."
Oh goddess, his voice is cool and his eyes are lovely, sudden I could feel my body getting heated and his words weren't audible to me, his lips and eyes were all I stared at, I avoided his scary face, I wondered what is wrong me, why is my body heated because of this monster in front of me, suddenly I move my hands, and circle his neck, trying to bring his face closer to mine.
"What are you?"
"Uh!" His voice brought me to reality, was I about to kiss this monster, shit! I curse inwardly and withdrew my hand from his neck. Nothing, I just want to go home.
This time, he withdrew from me and sit behind the wheel, he start driving.
"The next time you talk to him again, I will make sure that I throw you out of my castle."
"Oh please!!!" I said inwardly while rolling my eyes at him.
"Don't roll your eyes at me, I hate it." He hit the steering wheel, the drive was fast but I didn't care, I was hungry and I need to eat, when he pull over at the castle, I hurry out, I needed to get away from stupid scolding, I was expecting him to come inside but he turned around and left.
I pulled the kitchen cabinets and noticed that they are more groceries, I wondered who stock the place and the refrigerator is also stocked, so getting what to eat was fast, I have been starving, so I need to eat, after the meal, my body was very weak that the only thing I did was sleep and I didn't bother to check if that bully comes back.
Throughout the day, I just eat and sleep, since he didn't return, the night is here again, I coil into my bed and sleep, I am super tired that when my back meets the bed, nothing is stopping me from falling asleep.
"Get up it's time for training." Wait, did he just mind linking me, how is it possible? Those are the words he said and that is what woke me.
"You should hurry, I guess he is waiting." Sally said I struggle out of the bed, I dress up only to see that, he is not in the house.
"Where did he..."
"Come to the training ground, I couldn't wait you were taking too long."
"What?" I screamed but he disconnected the mind link. "Shit! Is that the punishment for yesterday?"
"Maybe!" Sally's annoying voice made me sign, I pick myself up, and I try not to curse this monster in my mind, as I walked down the road, I guess I will be exhausted before I even get to the training ground, and then again he will see it as an opportunity to insult me, I was walking absent-mindedly not knowing that I was already at the middle of the road.
'Hey, miss!!!" The horn of the car and the voice pulled me from my thoughts, I turned, wanting to leave the road only to see it was Campbell. "Iris."
He called getting down from his car, with his sweet smile.
"Hi!"
"Hi! Where are you up to?"
"To the training ground." He stared at me confused. "Oh, Prince Rupert asked me to meet him there."
"And he didn't wait to take you there?" I shrugged.
"It's okay, get into the car, that is where I am going, today happened to be the entire pack training, you might meet so many people there, it's fun to watch people trained and those who just come there to watch and flirt with alpha from the nearby pack."
"Alpha from a nearby pack?"
"Yes, young alphas, are the ones undergoing training and the ones that their parents haven't appointed yet but they are the next in line."
"Hm!"
"Yes, it's fun and why are you wearing something like this?" He ogles at me, I guess my clothes are awkward and don't look attractive. "Why are you wearing something like this? Didn't Brother tell you that, so many important members of the packs and other nearby packs will be there?"
'Your..." I haven't replied to him before he pack his car, and he went to the passenger seat and pulled the door from me, as I get down I could see that so many cars are packed at the training ground and they are beautiful and expensive.
"Come on, let's go." He takes my hand, I didn't even remember that Rupert had warned me about talking to anyone, especially guys, his eyes were what meet my hand on his brother's hand, I pulled my hand from Campbell within a blink.
'Come with me." He turned.
