Iris's ask
"To Goldfang Pack."
"What?" He yelled.
"Yes, that is my pack, I don't know what belongs here."
"Did Rupert also leave here? Come on Prince Campbell"
"Stop calling me Prince, my name is Campbell."
"It doesn't matter, if you like the name or not because you are still the son of the alpha, I will not wait for Rupert to send me out, I know that his Luna will do that and I heard the coronation is tonight, so I will take my leave."
"What are you going to do at Goldfang Pack, knowing that they will not let you in without a battle?"
"Then I will fight them, I will take them unaware."
"That is too dangerous, fighting an entire pack army single-handedly is like going on a suicide."
"Does it matter if I die?"
"Of course, your pack members need you, they are relying on you to save them from the hands of those monsters."
"What did you know about the pack?" He went mute. "Tell me, go on and tell me."
"The people are suffering, and Hilary seems to be the one ruling over the Pack because Alpha Damien takes instructions from her and she is ruling the pack the way she wanted it. And she has turned the pack members into her money-making machine, she is killing them with taxes, they barely have enough food, and alpha Damien, is taking the she-wolves as his sex workers, they work at the brothel he opened."
"Damm her!" I curse, grabbing my stuff. Campbell pulled my hand.
"If you must go, you should wait for Rupert, it's only Rupert who could help you."
"I will not wait for him, if you care about me, you will not tell anyone, that I am going to Goldfang Pack."
"What if he asked?"
He will not notice, I am sure he will be too engrossed in his coronation that he will not remember someone like me exists.
"Iris!!!"
"Promise me, you will keep this a secret, you will not tell him not even Mason." I grabbed his hand and put it on my head. He nodded. "Thanks," I pulled my things, staring at the castle, my tears dropped as Rupert's scent invaded my nose, even though he wasn't there, I could still smell him.
"Wait!!!"
"What now?" I stopped, and Campbell pulled a map from my hand. 'What is this?"
"This is, a map, Rupert asked Mason to spy on the Goldfang Pack and Mason asked that I draw a plan to enter the pack through a secret passage, this will help you, get in without anyone noticing." I pulled him into a hug.
"I will always remember you."
"And please be safe."
"I will." I nodded, pulling myself out of his warm, as I ran off the pack, with each step I took, I knew I was hurting but I had to go. I don't want to leave Rupert, I love him. Yes I do, the case isn't the same, Rupert doesn't love me.
It hurt, I don't even know which hurt, the fact that Rupert threw me out or the fact that I acted cheap. Or maybe, the fact that my pack members were suffering and here I was lusting over a man who couldn't love me the way I do.
I know before I can get to Goldfang, it will take me a day, or probably I will arrive there late in the night. With the help of the map, I guess I could be able to enter successfully.
The run was long but finally, I got there, it was late and I thought of entering without anyone noticing and it's perfect, following the map, I was able to get there, instead of passing the secret passage, I decided to pass through the gate, not after disguising myself, I have to apply a different perfume to cover my scent there is no way, Damien will not perceive me if I do not hide it and if I enter as a spy, it will be difficult for me to move freely in the pack.
During our training, Rupert had given me a hint of how rogues invade another pack, some live masks, taking the personality of another while others just sneak in just as Mason had suggested, and still others, just attack the Pack, but it's just me, attacking the pack will mean death, and I don't want that, I have to live to protect my pack. This is mind.
I chose the first option, although I wasn't sure how it would go but I am going to try. I waited for days, planning on my disguise, before I finally came up with a different face, the next days, I was busy learning a new voice, but Rupert still didn't mind linking me.
He must have been so busy with his Luna, that he didn't even notice that I was nowhere to be found.
"Why should he care? I am nothing to him."
I pushed the thought to the back of my mind, wiping up the tears that were already tailing down my cheeks, Sally had been all quiet since we left Rupert, I didn't want to give her attention, I don't want her to ask me to wait for Rupert, without her saying anything, I already know what she wanted, she wanted Rupert to protect us, this is my pack and I should protect them not replying on others to do it. Someone who is not a Pack member
It's finally five days since I left Rupert and I am getting better, the nights are always cold and scary. Sometimes, I wish that Rupert was here, to tell me that everything is going to be fine, sometimes I wish I woke up in his arms not on the floor, in the middle of the forest, prone to Rogue's attack. Tomorrow morning, I am going to approach that gate, I am going to ask that I join the pack, cooking a story that could sound true, so they could let me in.
"Help!!!" I hit the gate of Goldfang, I could see that the walls were higher and warriors were everywhere if you aren't careful, you will never know that, even at the top of the fence, guards are keeping watch, the gate open and I see men, with a broad chest and hefty men with strong arms.
Rupert is right? They have stronger warriors, it wouldn't be easy to defeat them, will they support me, if they found out that I am their Alpha's daughter?
Revealing my identity right now is not a good idea, and approaching them in the morning, will not be too suspicious
"What do you want?" I gave them a sweet smile. "Stop smiling spy."
"Stop calling me a spy. I am no spy, if I was, would I have to appear in front of you?" I rolled my eyes at them, trying not to act scared. "I want to see the alpha."
"Are you crazy? What do you want to see the alpha for?'
"It's none of your business, I just want to see the Alpha."
"The alpha is..."
"Look who will have here?" Damien's voice startled his warriors and me. My chest beat fast, he knows that I am Iris? He moves closer, putting his nose on my crook, I try to hold my breath, as he inhales me.
