Rupert's POV
"What the fuck are you doing?" She mindlinked me, I smirked, seeing that it was only the stomp of my feet to the ground and the punch of a pillar beside me that had caused it, it was not an earthquake is just a crack.
"This is just a warning, tell all stupid wolves and humans to stay away from you." She turned her gaze from me, as Alpha Donald, held her shoulder.
"Are you alright?" Alpha Donald asked her, and she nodded. "I guess that this building lacks good material."
"Yes." She managed to speak and turned to look at the spot I was standing.
"Tell him to get his hand off you." I mindlink her, I watch her shut her eyes to prevent Donald from noticing that she is trying to mind-link someone.
"I am not going to do that."
"You are been stubborn again, don't blame me, if his life is cut short because of your stubbornness." I flashed her my fangs and all of a sudden she pushed Alpha Donald's hand off her. This didn't go unnoticed by him, he turned and look at her.
"Is there a problem?" I could see the excitement in his eyes as disappeared, he is not stupid not to know that, the next words coming from the mouth of Iris, will not be something he wants to hear.
"Alpha Donald, I am sorry, I can't return your feelings, I am just hoping that I could find my mate, maybe, the goddess will bless me with another mate, like a second Chance mate, please do understand me."
"So it's a no?"
"I am sorry, I am sorry." His face darken, he was looking so dim like all the blood in his face have been drilled out. He clenched his fist and force a smile.
"It's fine, I will be right here if you couldn't find your fated mate."
"Sure, you will be my first option." I rolled my eyes at her words to Donald, she shouldn't bother because there is never going to be a time, where she is going to have to pick this idiot.
I rest lazily at the wall, as I watch everyone getting back to their feet and the manager tries to reassure them that it's nothing to worry about, looking at the pillar that I cause to fall, it's a good thing no one was around there, stupid me.
"Are you happy now? I have sent him away." She moves closer, glaring at me. I too watch her face, trying to figure out if she is mad that I made her send the punk away.
"Are you in love with that stupid alpha of a wolf? Didn't you say you have a mate already?"
"Geez, Rupert, you are a hell of trouble." She turned. "What a jealous jobless Alpha?" She just added another name to my title, who cares, she is mine.
"Iris, are you in love with any wolves that feel attracted to you?" No matter how hard I try to make my voice sound normal, I can't it's getting colder.
"Here drink up and stop talking nonsense." She pulled a glass to me, as she empty the one in her hand.
"I don't drink." She grabbed the glass and emptied mine.
"Grumpy old man." She mouthed as she reach for the third and the fourth.
"Stop it already."
"How can I stop when you just chase the one that will make everyone stop bothering me about my mate?"
"What? Is there anyone forcing you to have a mate?" She tittered pushing my chest.
"I am alpha Iris, no one could make me do things that I don't want to, every fucking act of mine is out of my free will." She free herself and was heading to the dance floor.
"Where are you going?"
"To dance."
"Who do you want to dance with?" She smirked.
"Dancing alone, all my life, I have been dancing alone, even when I and Damien were dating."
"That be the case, let me be the first man to have this dance with you." I stretch my hand for her, and she looks at them, I can't say I am still mad at her, the truth is, her sheepish smile, made me want her and I have forgiven her.
"I don't want to dance with you."
"And why is that?" I grabbed her waist, leading her to the dance floor without waiting for her reply, she smiled as we finally get a spot on the dance floor.
"It's because you are going to send me away after dancing with me." I run my hand through my hair, does she have to bring that shit up. "Aren't you going to.." I didn't wait for her to complete her words, I know she is tipsy, I twirl her around, her back meet me, and she press her ass on my front pants, as she dance on me.
I could feel I am getting a boner. "Iris stops it already, you wouldn't like what I will do to you, this might be too dangerous."
"What will you do to me?" She turned and face me, she wet her lips with her saliva making my wolf salivate, I could see him wanting her badly.
"You know what I could do, I could have you here and now." I pulled her to myself, ready to suck her lips but she pulled away.
"Easy male whore." She runs her finger through my hand and then she touches my chest poking it and moving it back to my lips, running it on my lips.
"Iris, are you teasing me now?" She wink at me as she free herself and went to dance with other males at the bar, I could not smell their wolf, which means they are not wolves.
I stood there watching every male come closer to her, they very few minutes they saw my face, and they just disappeared, she turned and look at me, I stare indifferently acting like I am not showing those humans and wolves something they couldn't comprehend, my fangs kept doing the magic for me, but here is this stubborn idiot, he too his an hybrid wolf, when I show him my fangs, he pay no attention, he still went ahead and excuse her for a dance.
"Miss, can I have this dance?" The stupid Iris that doesn't learn flashes him a sweet smile.
"Of cause." She drops her hand in his, as she makes her way with him to the dance floor, his hand on his waist, I watch as Iris swings her waist in front of this man, she is trying to make me jealous and I could feel it, she is becoming unbearable with her actions.
Maybe, I should just let her go? I turned from her, pulling the drink from the table and sipping on it but something was wrong, I felt a sharp pain in my head, Vernon growled, and then my heart pierced.
"What was that?" I asked Vernon, then my wrist is turning red and the pain is becoming unbearable, I turned only to see Iris, her lips locked with that dude.
