Rupert's POV.
I stood there motionless, with cold eyes, trying to figure out what to do to this stubborn female in front of me. But something else is disturbing, the flash of the scene I have witnessed earlier kept telling me that, every punishment that my brain kept picturing is nothing compared to the offense this female had committed.

For the past few days, I have avoided Iris, trying to clear my thoughts, with Father wanting me to settle down with my fated mate and declaring Celina as my Luna, the whole stuff is overwhelming and I don't want to appear in front of Iris without making a decision. It's either I am picking Iris and rejecting the position of being an alpha in the Wildfang shadow pack or picking Celina and continuing to be the alpha.
After much contemplation, here I am, with my beta, we just finished a business meeting with one of the neighboring pack
"Hey miss, do you by chance know where the alpha is?" I asked one of the omega.
"Sure, she is at the garden."
"Okay, thanks."
"You want me to inform her or you will love to wait in the waiting rooms?"
"No need, I will go to her, just show me the way to the garden."
"Alpha Rupert, don't you think this will be invading her privacy?" Mason try to stop me.
"I don't think so, so after you." I said to the omega, she bow and take us to the garden and there we are, she is with a male. Mason turned and look at me, as soon as the omega bow and left.
"Rupert, come on, let's just leave, she is having a guest and I don't think you could stand her being with another male wolf"
I turned and look at Mason, I understand him, he doesn't want me to get mad. "Stop being annoying, I could keep my vampire in Bay, you have nothing to worry about, controlling my vampire self has never been a problem."
"Really? How come I heard you damage a pillar at the club because she was dancing with a male Wolves at the bar?" I turned to him as I rest lazily on one of the trees, looking at him.
"Mason, why are you always been nosy about my whereabouts?" He smiled, running his hand through his hair. When I move my gaze back to Iris and the alpha beside her, I know that Alpha, his name is Asher. My eyes turned black and I was green with jealousy, my wolf is going berserk, this has never happened to me, they were so close and with their hand entwine with each other.
I clenched my fist to control my anger and my irritation, at this point, I was feeling he is touching something that is mine, and the closeness is making me more restless, I shut my eyes, I needed to control everything going through my mind and body.
"Calm down, Rupert you have to be calm." I try to compose myself, thinking that I am fine now, I bat my eyelashes and there comes the most annoying stuff. She is laughing at his silly jokes, her laughter is what made my jealousy become skyrocketing again.
With the reaction of my wolf, this is different, now I get, Iris is not just any she-wolf, she is my mate, the woman that I want to spend the rest of my life with, the female I want to be the mother of my pups.
"Alpha Rupert, we should leave." Beta Mason tried to take me away from there, I know he could feel my restlessness.
"What are you scared of?" I asked.
"I don't want what happened between Celina and that guy again, you can't afford to be careless." Mason's words are sensitive. With the way I am feeling, I might end up killing that guy.
"Sure, let's leave." I finally agree then a Sharp pain visited my heart and my wrist burned. "Ouch" I screamed softly, turning around I could see Iris leaning towards alpha Asher, they were going to kiss, even though they haven't kissed, panic flooded my veins and my self-control flew throw the window and I couldn't take it anymore. Then letting my wolf out and launching at that idiot was all I could think of, I was going to separate his head from his body. Taking the very first step of mine, beta Mason grabbed my hand.
"What are you doing let me go?" I try to free myself from him.
"Don't you want to see if she is your mate and if she will enjoy every male's lips as she did yours?"
His words sound sensible and they calm my riling wolf, I clenched my fist trying so hard to control myself to let another man have her lips.
The kiss didn't last for a second before Iris pushed Alpha Asher from herself, she apologized and run out.
"You see, she doesn't like him and your wrist, that is her unfaithful mark." I pinned my lips together.
"I don't think so, probably that silly Celina is with Russell again."
"If you say so but you should be grateful to me for making you see that she has her eyes only on you." I turned and look at him.
"I will deal with you but for now, you should disappear." I could hear him titter as I dart to Iris's room, before I could even tap on the door, she had opened it.

"Can't you talk, what are you doing here?" She snarled when not a word came from my mouth.
"Have you forgotten what I told you?" She stares blankly at me. "I told you, I will not think twice then to end the life of any male wolf that comes this close to you." I move closer to her. "talk more of locking lips with you." I pulled her chin for her to look at me. "you cross the line again and I will take you away from here."
"Wait, you can't..."
"I can, you are mine." I circled my hand around her waist, bringing her closer to me, with her bosom pressed to my chest. "Did you think I don't know, that you have been entertaining suitors for weeks now?" She pushed me off herself.
"What's that? Are you encroaching on my privacy now?" She sounded irritated and annoying and the next thing I grinned when something else struck me, she is happy that I was checking on her.
"Why are you smiling?" She asked suddenly, which made me adjust.
"It's because your lips are saying one thing and your heart is saying another. "
"Did you fucking invade my head as well?" This time, she is mad. I pinned my lips together, how is that possible, how am I able to read her thoughts now, could Mason be right, she is my mate. "Get out Rupert." She yelled, I pulled her to myself and claimed her lips, and she pushed me off her.
"Rupert, stay away from me, I don't want your mate, coming here to harass me, calling me names, and the next time, you try to read my thoughts again, I will teach you a lesson that you will regrets ever having the gift of reading thought, get out and go be with your mate, I will be picking my mate too by tomorrow and this is a goodbye, I don't want to see you again."
"Wait."
"Guards, who is there?" Iris screamed, one of the guards appear in front of us. "show alpha Rupert out and don't let him in anymore, you should tell the male at the border as well, he is no longer welcome"
"Iris." I called in frustration.
"I said take him out and if he ever appears here again, I will make the guards in patrol pay with his life." Iris hit the door behind me.
