I woke up hours later feeling a wonderful smell in the air, man
stomach snored in response, did not remember the last time I ate
something. I heard a husky laugh ring and opened my eyes, found him at the foot
from the bed with a tray of food in his hands.
"Food in bed? I’m starting to like it."
Good morning to you, too, dear wolf. Good morning to you.
-Where is my brother? -I asked as I sat in bed, looking for
Aiden. I lifted my shirt and saw that the wound was closing.
Normally a cut made by silver would take a long time to heal and
had times that did not heal, in cases of normal wolves. But my factor
of healing is high, which makes my wounds heal much faster
that the normal.
-He’s in the room with Rebecca. -He responded by approaching with the tray.
I put a lock of hair behind my ear and looked at mine
hands on the sheet, didn’t want to look at Jackson, still was
annoyed at everything that had happened between us. I had been so
weak and condemned me for this.
"We were weak and almost fell into his charms. This cannot
happen again. Never!"
He put the tray on my legs and sat next to me,
against my will, but I ignored it because of supernatural hunger
that I felt. I licked my lips to see the tray full of food, my
mouth came out with the sight of macaroni and cheese.
I took the fork, it was made of silver. The memories came back to me
haunt, and unintentionally a tear ran down my face. I
hated my sensitive side, got so emotional and left me frustrated by
not being able to keep me in control of my emotions. I hated
those moments of fragility.
-Oh shit, you’re crying. -Uttered Jackson distressed. I took
my hand to dry my face, but Jackson was faster and passed
your thumb over my cheek. A little touch warmed all
my body, sending shivers through my skin.
I lowered my head and started eating the noodles, that demonstration
of affection had made me embarrassed.
"On the Moon! Melissa has angel hands."
I had to agree with her, that pasta was delicious. I’m done
releasing a slight groan of pleasure.
-Is it good? -Asked Jackson after a few seconds quiet next to me.
-Good? That’s wonderful. -I said with my mouth full and he laughed.
This male was watching me eat, which is not a pretty thing to
observe. Suddenly his expression hardened and his eyes became
red, I arched the column with his furious gaze upon me.
-What’s the matter with you?
-Where did you get that? -He asked and I frowned, than
man was talking?
Jackson looked at my neck and when I followed his gaze, I noticed that
He was referring to the necklace.
That? I held the stone.
-Yes.
damn
I hated your tone.
-It’s none of your business. I replied.
He simply tore the necklace from my neck and marched to
out of the room without giving me any explanation. I opened my mouth in shock
with his wild attitude.
"Who does he think he is to steal our stuff? Asshole!"
I got up indignantly and had to hold on to the wall to avoid falling.
I was weak and my legs were weak, but I had to ignore
pain. I started following him, needed to get the necklace back, he didn’t
belonged to Jackson.
-That’s mine, asshole! Give it back. -I screamed as I stopped on the stairs, he had
down so fast that I wondered how it had not fallen us
steps.
-Hayley, go to bed! -Aiden ordered, I rolled my eyes, impatient.
-You don’t own me. -I shot my brother and tried to get down
stairs. When I supported my leg on the first step, my
legs weakened and my sight blurred, I had no strength to prevent
my body fell down the stairs like a sack of potatoes.
Screams and screams made my head throb, or maybe it hit us
steps had caused that unbearable pain, or both. Grunhi from
pain being thrown to the ground hard, felt my wounds open and
everything hurt again.
-What the hell! -I cursed furiously.
"Why do you have to be such an idiot?"
My vision was blurry and I couldn’t breathe right, not before I cursed Jackson from the worst names that existed mentally,
struggled to stay awake. My ankle hurt and I smelled
blood. Gemi of pain as I turned on my stomach, lifted my
blouse again and my cut was bleeding.
I whimpered to feel someone shake my body.
-By the Moon. -Arfou Melissa in shock, running towards me.
-Hayley. Hayley. I heard Aiden’s voice.
As he swayed me, my stomach turned.
-Aiden, I just ate and you keep rocking me. When I
Puke in your face, don’t complain. I muttered annoyed.
-Have you ever heard that sarcasm is a sign of health? -I heard Rebecca
irony, almost smiles, despite the intense pain that ran through my body.
I felt someone pick me up and when I recognized who I was, I started
to struggle in your arms, despite all minimal movement me
tear out groans of pain.
I’d rather fall down the stairs three hundred times more than bear your touch
in my body.
"Bastard! Let us go or I’ll rip your throat out."
-Don’t touch me, you idiot. Put me down. -I tried to let go, but he
held me tighter. -Stay away from me, didn’t you hear me? -I asked
altered, needed to get out of his arms.
I’m not letting you go, Hayley.
-Shit, my body hurts because of you. -Rosnei angry and I was forced to
stop struggling or it would just result in more injuries.
-I make a tea from...
-I won’t take anything. -I cut it right off, that wasn’t at least
questionable.
-Why did you throw yourself off the ladder? -Aiden asked, while the unfortunate
Supreme put me on the couch.
-Because I wanted to test my wings, asshole. -I scolded my brother.
-Someone fell out of bed. -Dylan hummed and put his hand on his chin,
with a thoughtful face. Or was it the ladder?
I made a vulgar gesture to him in response.
-Hayley, don’t make things difficult, please. -Aiden scolded me and I
I rolled my eyes.
That idiot here thinks I stole the damn necklace.
-What did Mila give you? -Aiden asked and I nodded.
-Wait... Mila gave you a necklace? You’ve been smelling wolfsbane,
Hayley? -Asked Dylan with frowning. Laughs through the nose,
unable to remain serious.
-The weed looks great. -commented Clary sarcastically.
-I’ll order for you. -I returned the provocation.
-If she’s going to make me fly down the stairs, I don’t need it. -Informed Dylan.
-Explain that story, Hayley. -You asked Rebecca in a serious tone.
She didn’t have an ounce of humor. For the moon!
-I just flew down the stairs, I’m too tired to talk to
you. I declared closing my eyes.
Hayley! I heard Aiden calling me.
-You are unbearable, by the Moon! -I grumbled. -Well, let’s say that
my soul decided to walk and left my body. And went to the other
side and found Mila. We had a super cool chat and she said that
had met a couple, and that woman was just like me. She said that
the necklace was for me and blah blah blah.
-Beautiful explanation. -Mocked Dylan and I opened an ironic smile for him.
-How did she have this necklace? -I heard Jackson’s voice, clenched my teeth with
your tone.
-Ask her. -Grunhi rough. -Oh yeah, she’s dead.
Thanks for your help, Jackson.
My words were bitter, like a punch hitting his face.
I held the stone, frowning.
-That’s so weird. -I commented.
-A soul on the other side communicated with you. But it was not Mila, no
it is possible.
I stared at Clary.
-How do you know that?
-Her death is recent, she wouldn’t be strong enough to
communicate with you. It was someone else.
I looked at Aiden, swallowed hard, tense.
-I saw my parents. My mother tried to talk to me, but she couldn’t.
Peter gasped and Melissa sighed. I dared not look at Jackson.
I think it was your mother who took your spirit to the other side.
