The Moonstone's Owner Chapter 9

3rd Point of View.

Like the raging fire, Jacob went berserk. He abnormally releases his anger that he couldn't control in the giant cauldron that Fatima and Lowell used to cook potions of medicines. He wolfed out, and now, his strength maximized to its full power, and could perfectly throw tantrums and eradicate things that caught his eye. The garden of Lowell seems like there's an enormous storm passed through.

"Pitiful Jacob," snarled Fatima while sipping her expensive liquor placed in an expensive crystal glass, rolling her eyes upward. She was standing on her balcony while resting her arms on its railing.

"Nah, don't you say that, Fatima. It's stupidity, I supposed. Stupid love makes him go wild like that," Lowell replied, walking to stand up beside Fatima.

"A love he shouldn't even have in the first place?" Fatima laughed. "To protect Faye, he became obsessed with everything about his own daughter's business. Lowell, he's creepy."

"Yeah, but how do you say he's flying into a rage because of his daughter?"

"Who do you think you married? Have you forgotten? I could locate every single werewolf in a blink of an eye. And he went where Faye sneaked in— to the bar, near the Balkans."

Lowell was smiling in awe. He was surprised that even words couldn't express it. Lowell shook his head, cheered with Fatima, and continued to watch the pitiful Jacob on his knees, begging the Moon Goddess to hear his prayer again.

Lucy came home after getting vegetables. She saw her husband who looked like a fool in the midst of the rain. She felt embarrassed, and she feels as though it was one of the most useless emotions so she shook his head to take off that thought in her mind, and helped Jacob to stand up.

But he resisted, almost hurt Lucy. That's when he finally went to his normal state and could see everything around him.

"What just happened?" he asked, going back to his human form.

Lucy couldn't speak for a minute, staring blankly at Jacob. Then she abruptly burst into tears. No words to escape.

Faye's Point of View.

"W-What? You mean, we'll do the... you know. I can't say it out loud here it's too— hey hey! Why are you standing up?" I asked with furrowed brows.

"Well, let's make the 'almost' status remain. I'm not in the mood already, you pushed me off the cliff."

Damion is bullshit. He teased me to have sex with him, and now what is he showing?! The fuck, he is so sick!

I laughed sarcastically, "Then I got bitten by a dog, specifically, you. Such a tease, Damion."

Damion was fixing his hair sexily, or is he teasing me more? To look as though he is the most wanted werewolf, hot, sexy, ravishing— or am I convincing myself that he is not?

I groaned.

"The hidden desire you had for me finally showed before my eyes. Don't try to hide it, I've already seen your weakness," asked Damion.

"What kind of weakness are you talking about?"

"In front of you, dimwit."

Damion showed his perfectly made face, and he left me dumbfounded. How could he become so right every single time?!

"Let's go home. Your parents must be dying right now."

He just made me remember what I'd been avoiding the whole night. I rolled my eyes, fixed my clothes, and went out. Surprised to see the man whom I was supposed to make out with tonight, lay down on the floor, sleeping. Then I sighed in complete regret. I should've endured this.

Damion went out. His face that he's been carrying the first time he saw the man showed up again. I smiled secretly. He must've been hiding the strange emotions he felt toward me. He couldn't be blamed at all. It's natural to fall for my natural stunning appearance. Born this way.

Damion spat on the man and pulled me down. The whole time, I was just staring at him with a full smile on my face. Damn, I'm insane. He's making me feel all sorts of emotions.

"DARLENE FAYE! OH MY GOD, WHO IS THAT?" Gwen yelled while emphasizing every word, in her lungs. Covering my face wouldn't be enough to flee from this embarrassing moment. Damn.

Slowly, I went beside her and pinched her waist. "You fucking imbecile. How could you make me feel discomfort in a short amount of time?" I whispered.

She smiled uncomfortably with a vivid sign of ache on her face. "I'm sorry, okay? You rock while going down the stairs together with that hot half-naked man. I can't stand to keep it between my tongue. It's shocking to see you being the sexiest woman in the crowd for the first time."

"It almost breaks my heart. But when you said the first time?! Damn you, Gwen?"

Gwen laughed. Her man pulled her out of the bar, while she was teasing me. She then shouted, "Call me when you're home! Let's catch up on what we missed."

I waved my hand to show acknowledgment. That should do it.

"So, shall we go now? Are we free to go?" Damion asked bluntly. He didn't even wait for me to answer and took my hand to escort me out of the bar.

"What's your problem?" I asked, taking back my hand. Damion crossed his arms. He looked like a totally different person now. All of a sudden, he makes me feel sick. For the first time in my life, he gave me heartache.

--

Miles and miles away, we traveled on foot to get to Uncle Lowell's villa through the forest, to hide from humans. The whole time, he was leading the way and NEVER turned his back to face me. What is this? Are we playing the 'follow the leader' thing?

Aish!

He's making me squint my eyes.

A werewolf appeared. This almost gave me a fucking heart attack. A few minutes later, another werewolf appeared. She then shifted into her human form— my mother.

"So, are you enjoying?" the wolf asked. He's familiar. Is he?

"Dad?"

"Oh," he replied with a touch of obvious sarcasm in his voice. "You finally recognized your father's voice."

"Don't make me roll my eyes, dad. This is humiliating for Damion."

He made me do it when he punches Damion as hard as the infinite time— I couldn't fathom. Damion was on his knees as my father continues to punch his face.

I felt it too. But I fought and stand between them, only to receive the kiss of Dad's fist. Damion caught me in his arms. Those eyes again— the way he looked at me when we were inside the rented room.

"You're confusing me."
