As I walked through the front door of my house, all I could think about was collapsing onto my bed and finally getting some rest. The day had been long and tiring, and to top it off, I had dinner with my boss, Derick. It was strange to think that just a few hours ago, I was sitting across from the man who used to make my life a living hell at work. But now, after our dinner, it seemed like things were going to be different. Perhaps Derick and the other employees would no longer treat me like a rejected mate.
As I made my way down the hallway towards my room, I noticed Alpha Blake standing at my entrance. He was holding a black rose and sniffing it. I was stunned to see him here, let alone holding a black rose. Before I could say anything, Blake spoke up.
"How was your date with Derick, my pack biggest enemy?" he asked with a sly smile.
I was taken aback. How did Blake know about my dinner with Derick? And why was he holding a black rose?
"It's none of your business," I retorted, trying to hide the surprise in my voice.
Blake moved closer to me and whispered in my ear, "It seems like you enjoyed being used and dumped, that's because you trust easily. But trust me, being dumped like trash will be worse than being a rejected mate."
I slapped Blake, and felt my anger start to rise, but I managed to control it. "Whatever happens in my life is none of your business," I said, gritting my teeth. "You were the one who turned me into a rejected mate, so you should stop bugging me."
I tried to walk past Blake, but he grabbed my hand and slid the black rose into my palm. "Seems like a doom is coming closer," he said with a smile. "I saw this rose at your doorstep. Take care of yourself."
And with that, Blake turned and walked away, leaving me standing there with the black rose in my hand. I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease wash over me. What did Blake mean by a doom coming closer? And why did he seem to care about me all of a sudden?
I shook my head and made my way into my room, determined to forget about Blake and his strange behavior. But as I laid down on my bed, the black rose still in my hand, I couldn't shake the feeling that something ominous was looming on the horizon. Since Black bird wolves, won't stop sending me their black rose Flowers.
Suddenly, I heard a strange sounds, and started to perceived Leah wolf scent. She might not be able to turned into a Wolf yet, but Leah already had a werewolf scent.
I couldn't believe what I had just experienced. My stepsister, Leah, had broken into my apartment and left without a trace, leaving only a faint smell behind. I wondered what she was doing here, and why she had left in such a hurry.
As I got up to check the room, I noticed a black envelope sitting on my table, bearing the seal of the Black Bird Wolves. My heart raced as I opened it to find a simple message that read "Last warning." I had no idea what it meant or what they really want, but I knew one thing for sure - I was in danger.
I tried to calm myself down and think logically. If Leah was working with the Black Bird Wolves, it made sense that they were trying to intimidate me. But why would she betray me like this again? After what she did to me before, she still had the nerve to work against me?
I paced around my apartment, trying to decide what to do next. Should I confront Leah about her involvement with the Black Bird Wolves, or should I stay quiet and try to figure things out on my own?
Part of me wanted to confront her, to demand answers and put a stop to her betrayal once and for all. But another part of me was scared, scared of what she might do if I confronted her.
In the end, I decided to stay quiet for now. I would keep a low profile, watch my back, and try to gather more information about the Black Bird Wolves and their plans towards me.
As I lay in bed, I couldn't shake the feeling of unease that had settled over me. The fact that Alpha Blake and his rogue wolves were having a pack meeting in his apartment was troubling enough, but the fact that Leah was involved with the Black Bird Wolves made everything even more complicated.
I couldn't help but wonder what their ultimate goal was. Were they planning an attack on another pack again? Or Blake simply trying to intimidate me?
Either way, I knew that I had to stay alert and keep my guard up. I couldn't let myself be caught off guard by the Black Bird Wolves or Alpha Blake's rogue pack.
As I drifted off to sleep, I hoped that I would wake up to a peaceful day, free from the drama and chaos that had consumed my life for the past few weeks.
The next morning, I woke up early and got ready for work. As I stepped outside my apartment, I was greeted by the fresh scent of the morning air. For a moment, I forgot about all the troubles that had plagued me and simply enjoyed the peacefulness of the moment.
But that moment didn't last long. As I walked down the street, I saw a group of Alpha Blake's rogue wolves standing at the end of the block, eyeing me suspiciously.
I quickened my pace and tried to walk past them without drawing attention to myself. But just as I was about to cross the street, one of the wolves stepped in front of me, blocking my way.
"What do you want?" I asked, my voice steady despite the fear that was starting to build inside me.
The wolf grinned at me, revealing a set of sharp teeth. "We just want to have a little chat," he said, his voice low and menacing.
I knew I was in trouble. But I am not scared of Alpha Blake rouges. "Leah sent you right? Or maybe your boss," I asked but the wolf did not answer. Blake followers were dangerous, and I didn't know what they were capable of. But I also knew that I couldn't let them intimidate me.
With a deep breath, I stood up straight and faced the wolf directly. "I don't have anything to say to you," I said firmly.
The wolf chuckled, and I felt a shiver run down my spine. But just as I was about to make a run for it, I heard a familiar voice behind me.
"Leave her alone," the voice said.
I turned around to see Alpha Blake standing behind me, a stern look on his face. The other wolves backed off, intimidated by his presence.
I didn't know what to think. Was Alpha Blake here to help me, or was he simply trying to protect his own interests?
Either way, I knew one thing for sure - this was far from over. The Black Bird Wolves and Alpha Blake's rogue pack were both after me, and I had to find a way to stay one step ahead of them if I wanted to survive.
