Weeby's gloomy face was instantly replaced by a smile as the bell for recess had just rung.
The feeling of franticness and resentment toward Marcell immediately disappeared, and Weeby decided to turn to the side.
"Uti, let's go to the cafeteria. My stomach is about to explode!"
Uti turned her head, looking at Weeby with a furrowed forehead and asking, "How come it's exploding? Haven't you eaten yet?" Uti scratched the back of her head, which wasn't itchy at all, Weeby's words just now confused her to death.
"Yes, I haven't eaten yet, that's why I asked you to accompany me to the cafeteria, you want to, right?" Weeby's face lit up, she was confident that Uti would agree to her request.
"If you haven't eaten, then why did you explode? You're so weird, By," Uti sneered with her lips pursed forward.
"I misspoke." Weeby just grinned, revealing her white teeth that were lined up neatly.
Letting out an exasperated sigh, Uti rolled her eyes and said, "Yes, I'll accompany you, but it's really rare that you want to be accompanied by me, usually it's Kenya and Netta."
"They're busy, and I also want to be with you," Weeby replied quickly.
Uti just nodded her head in reply.
"Aren't you embarrassed?"
Weeby's eyebrows seemed to be drawn upward because of Uti's question just now. She thought for a moment, trying to digest Uti's words. But Weeby did not understand.
"Embarrassed? Why would I be embarrassed?"
"You're not-"
"I'm not embarrassed if I wear different socks," Weeby said again that, indeed, this morning she was very rushed, and as a result, Weeby did not realize that she was wearing two different socks, one yellow and the other pink. It's really far from the rules. Moreover, the colors worn look very contrasting.
"That's not it, Weeby!" Uti was getting more and more annoyed because Weeby interrupted her speech, and as a result, Weeby's sharp nose was pulled by Uti so hard that Weeby's face staggered following the direction where her nose was held by Uti's fingers.
"It hurts, Ti; my nose will fall off if you do this," Weeby said with her lips turned forward, occasionally rubbing the tip of her nose, which was still a little sore.
"It's because you cut off my words; how can I not be annoyed?" Uti then exhaled in such a way that a second later she returned her gaze to Weeby, who was staring at her lazily.
"Yeah, what do you mean I'm not embarrassed?" Weeby returned to the original topic when Uti asked her an ambiguous question.
Uti immediately twisted her thin lips before raising her voice, and shortly after she spoke, "You're not embarrassed to go to the cafeteria with me?"
"Why are you embarrassed? You're asking a lot of questions," Weeby said with a quiet giggle.
"I'm fat, aren't you afraid of getting bullied if you hang out with me?"
"It's normal, why be embarrassed Ti? I'm just like you, both girls. Let's go, I'm really hungry."
There was no reason for Uti to ask such a question, she just wanted to make sure. And before that, Uti was not familiar with Weeby at all. They only spoke to each other when there was something that really needed to be discussed.
Uti instantly realized from her reverie, now she looked at Weeby with a surprised look on her face, and her heart was still racing.
"Hey, why are you staring?" Weeby was annoyed because Uti was daydreaming, and even though she had just mentioned his name, she completely ignored her.
"Eh? Come on!" Uti was half nervous, she immediately got up from her seat and walked away from Weeby, who was still sitting on the chair. Seeing Uti's behavior, which she thought was very strange, Weeby frowned. Then followed a small head shake.
"Uti, wait for me!"
Weeby shouted loudly, then she began to lift her buttocks from the chair.
Weeby's forehead then wobbled as she was about to get up from her chair; she was slightly restrained. Then, as fast as lightning, Weeby looked back.
Weeby immediately rounded her eyes wide, let out a loud squeal, and continued with an annoyed growl. How could she not feel disturbed? The skirt she was now wearing was already stained with stuck-on gum. No wonder when she lifted her butt from the chair, Weeby was a little restrained.
"Marcell, you don't have to be so annoying for one day, can you?!"
Weeby shouted excitedly, looking at Marcell with a fierce expression. The patience that was now embedded in her heart had run out.
"Feel it, you're in my trap, you're dead!" Marcell laughed out loud, very satisfied.
"Watch out, I'll cut your skin," Weeby threatened, then she looked up her skirt again. The sticky, disgusting food was still there.
"Now you can By," Marcell mumbled with a big smile on his mouth.
Not wanting to take care of Marcell anymore, Weeby finally chose to leave the class, following Uti, who had walked first to the cafeteria. Before that, Weeby tried to remove the gum stuck to her skirt with disgust, but the result was not bad. Only a little bit of the gum remained. Okay, this was better than not taking it. It was so disgusting.
Extra patience was always Weeby fertilizing her body, even though they were no longer in the same seat, Marcell still persisted in bothering her. It was in vain that Weeby tried to stay away from Marcell, but in fact, the annoying boy was still the same.
Walking in a hurry, Weeby finally caught up with Uti. Weeby's breathing sounded very labored. Feeling strange about it, Uti then turned to the side and found Weeby, who was neutralizing the rush of her breath.
"Why are you gasping for air?" asked Uti suspiciously, while looking at Weeby with a confused look on her face.
"I've been chased by the devil," Weeby replied simply, she didn't really care, now all she could think about was Marcell's annoying nature, and not only that, Weeby was still neutralizing her breath.
Not wanting to prolong the problem anymore, Uti only replied with a brief nod, she also didn't really care about it.
After arriving at the cafeteria, Weeby and Uti immediately ordered two plates of lava meatballs, the most spicy meatballs in the cafeteria. How could they not be? The meatballs were filled with a lot of red chili peppers in the meat. Whoever eats it, will definitely get diarrhea.
While Weeby and Uti were in the cafeteria, Marcell and Resti were in the back garden of the school. They both sat on a long white bench under a shady tree.
"Res, since you broke up with your boyfriend, why have you become so quiet like this?"
Marcell pursed his lips, annoyed by Resti's quiet behavior lately. Now that they were both in the back garden, the bell that signaled the end of the lesson was already ringing.
"I'm fine," Resti replied listlessly without turning to Marcell, who had been staring down at the ground.
Rolling his eyeballs lazily, Marcell said, "Ah, no way, you haven't moved on, huh?" Marcell investigated suspiciously because he knew that Resti was not in a good mood.
Silence. Resti did not respond. Her gaze was still the same, reluctant to look at Marcell. Her face turned shady.
Again and again, being ignored by Resti like that made Marcell even more anxious, he let out a long sigh.
"Res, you don't have to be so sad, I already told you, and you have to remember that, besides you, there is still me. I'll take care of you," Marcell said reassuringly, his hand moving to hold Resti's palm tightly, and he continued to look at her with a trusting gaze.
"You don't need to be sad anymore, okay? Move on from your boyfriend, there's no way your current boyfriend is sad like you are, right? I don't want to see you sad all the time, it makes my eyes hurt," Marcell said again, now in one breath.
Marcell's words touched her deeply, and Resti spontaneously looked up and studied Marcell's face, which was still faithfully staring at her.
Resti's tears then escaped her eyes, and without waiting for Marcell's approval, Resti immediately attacked, hugging Marcell tightly from the side. Marcell, who was unprepared for Resti's sudden movement just now, was startled, but he was soon able to neutralize his body.
Resti's embrace became tighter and tighter, and her cries became louder and louder until the clear liquid soaked Marcell's uniform.
Marcell smiled faintly, then his hand moved and ended up at the top of Resti's head. A second after that, he stroked it with a very gentle and soothing movement.
"If you want, I can take care of you, do you want to be my girlfriend?"
Marcell let go of the hug Resti was giving him, then his hand reached out again and cupped Resti's small jaw. His thumbs moved gently, brushing away the traces of tears that still ran down her cheeks. Marcell smiled slightly, looking at Resti with a sparkling expression.
Resti swallowed her saliva bitterly, she couldn't have heard Marcell's words wrong. Her ears were still functioning properly. It's just that Resti still doesn't believe it. Did Marcell really confess his feelings to Resti? On the other hand, Resti still wanted to return to Gama's arms, but on the other hand, Resti was hypnotized by Marcell's good looks, as well as the kindness that the boy showed.
Resti gave a small nod of her head, still speechless, her heart suddenly warmed. Marcell hugged her with the tightest grip. Marcell shows a row of neatly arranged white teeth, while Resti is still flat. Not too excited.
"Do you really want to be my girlfriend?" Marcell asked—perhaps he had taken it the wrong way.
"Yes, I want to," Resti replied later, smiling a little. Okay, Resti is determined to forget Gama, she has now chosen Marcell. The boy beside her is also more handsome than her previous boyfriend. Correct, now it's an ex-boyfriend.
"Cool, now I'm not single anymore," Marcell squealed hysterically. He clenched his hands into fists and punched the air.
Marcell had made her laugh, the boy's behavior was very funny according to Resti, three hundred and eighty degrees different from Weeby's view. From Weeby's view, Marcell was a god-level annoying boy.
"No need to overdo it, Cell."
Resti giggled again, she then patted Marcell's cheek, while Marcell only smiled wider.
"I've never been in a relationship before, which means I'm still an amateur. Are you sure you want to accept me?" Marcell confirmed it once again.
"Amateur?"
"Yes, I've never had a relationship with a girl, you're the first," Marcell replied quickly.
"You'll be good at it too, just watch out when you're good, you'll leave me when I'm in love!" Resti's gaze now turned sharp, staring intimidatingly at Marcell.
"But I've never been in a relationship, I'm still not good at it," Marcell said clearly and openly.
"Never mind, let's not talk about that again, you're not either," Resti replies, rolling her eyes lazily.
"That's right, Weeby has never been in a relationship either."
"Weeby?" Resti's eyebrows furrowed again and were lifted upwards.
"Yes, she's also single, and yes, there's one more bullet for Weeby. I already have a girlfriend, and she's still single, it's going to be fun tomorrow." Marcell then rubbed his palms while imagining the events of tomorrow morning when he would disturb Weeby.
Resti was silent for a moment, but her silence was not without reason. She was just wondering why Marcell knew that Weeby didn't have a boyfriend, it could be that Weeby didn't want to reveal her relationship status, right?
"What do you know about Weeby?" asked Resti, she suddenly wanted to know how well they knew each other.
"Ah, ask me anything, I already know everything about annoying girls like her!"
If Weeby had heard what Marcell had just said, Marcell would have been scolded. Marcell's basic, he doesn't filter his words first. Isn't he the one who's annoying? How could he slander Weeby like that?
"Really?"
Marcell then nodded firmly. "Her favorite food is burgers, her favorite drink is orange juice, Weeby doesn't like cat hair because she sneezes when she gets close to it, her favorite artist is Selena Gomez, she likes selfies, she also likes roses; and Weeby hates my attitude, which she says is annoying."
Marcell spoke so smoothly, loudly, and passionately. Resti, who heard the story, was stunned. She still couldn't believe it.
"That's it?"
"Do you want more?" Marcell challenged.
"That's enough, you seem to have memorized it. Do you think Weeby is beautiful?"
"Not bad to look at, sometimes I wonder why she looks beautiful when she's angry," explained Marcell, his voice heavy, then he spontaneously thought of Weeby's expression when she was angry at him. Remembering that, Marcell smiled wryly.
"Why don't you just date Weeby—why me?"
"Because I like you, after all, Weeby isn't that pretty when she wakes up. If I see her waking up with her face tousled and her hair disheveled, I'll take a picture of her and put it on the school's front page. I'm sure she'll be furious with me."
