Marcell was annoyed to death, he didn't even focus on the road ahead, instead, his eyes kept staring at Weeby with her small nose. When those cool eyes were closed, Weeby often looked more beautiful in Marcell's eyes.
His footsteps began to slow down, he deliberately did something like that, it was only for a moment, Marcell wanted to stare at Weeby longer. Now, Weeby's beautiful face was like opium for Marcell, the smile that had been held back, finally slowly began to emerge, and more and more, the thin smile transformed into a beautiful lip pull.
"Marcell!"
Feeling his name being called, Marcell chose to circulate his gaze, sweeping the atmosphere around to see whether what his ears had caught was really real. Marcell then choked up, staring at Resti, who was calling him, now his girlfriend was walking after him.
"Resti, what are you doing here?" Marcell stumbled, looking at Resti questioningly, his surprise at her arrival still lingering.
Resti crossed her arms over her chest, her mouth clacking and her eyes rolling. A split second later, Resti began to speak.
"I'm the one who asked that question, what are you doing here?" Resti's tone sounded unfriendly, and Marcell immediately opened his mouth to answer, but Resti's words immediately interrupted him, silencing Marcell's mouth again.
"I hope you have a non-classical reason to explain the current situation."
"Res, I beg you not to talk to me now, I have to take Weeby to the infirmary first, she fainted. After that, you can yell at me all you want," Marcell said, his intonation weakening.
Just about to step forward, Resti immediately stopped Marcell's steps. The words that slipped from her lips made Marcell instantly stifle. The boy turned his head to the side again.
"I told you not to get close to Weeby, did you forget or what?" Resti's scolding made Marcell silent, then the girl returned to stomping her feet on the ground because she was annoyed with Marcell for not listening to her.
"But Weeby fainted, and this is all because of me. Please, just help Weeby this time." Marcell pleaded, and the next second he looked at Weeby's face, which was slightly covered by her hair.
With a grunt, Resti was still not going to be outdone, what she wanted could not be shaken, and Resti was not going to let Marcell off the hook. "Did you forget my request?"
"No Resti, I remember, it's even out of my head. And you have to understand, if I leave Weeby here? What will happen to her while Weeby herself is unconscious?"
"Never mind, that's up to you. Now I have a good choice for you, choose Weeby or me!" Resti smiled wryly, waiting to hear her boyfriend's response. Meanwhile, Marcell was choked up, the choice was very difficult. In fact, Marcell was hesitant to make his choice.
"I choose you, because you are my girlfriend," Marcell said in the end.
"Okay, then stay here, Weeby, and come with me."
"But."
"There's no refusal, let's hurry!" Resti's teeth were already chattering with rage, so much so that she tugged at Marcell's uniform sleeve. Her face already held anger.
Marcell stammered on the spot. Leaving Weeby here? Marcell almost laughed discordantly, he wasn't that bold, especially now that the girl in his arms was unconscious.
"Let's hurry up! How come you're daydreaming?" She forced Resti to become even more furious, stomping her foot on the ground repeatedly. "Come with me, or we break up now!"
Marcell was forced to obey Resti because his girlfriend threatened that if Marcell didn't comply with her wishes, Resti would immediately ask for a breakup. Of course Marcell didn't want to, his affection was already deep and his love was already cultivated in his heart. Yes, Marcell likes Resti.
With a heavy heart, Marcell laid Weeby on the floor, and then, noticing the girl's small back, Marcell leaned against the wall. Holding his breath for a moment, Marcell looked at Weeby with pity, Weeby's face, which still looked pale, was still visible to Marcell even though Weeby was now bowing her head.
"I'm sorry, Weeby." Marcell said bitterly, but the words only echoed in his heart. Then Marcell quickly stood back up, looking at his girlfriend, who smiled meaningfully.
"Never mind her again, come with me!"
Resti grabbed Marcell's jaw and jerked him away from looking at Weeby, then she took Marcell's hand and held it tightly, the next second, Marcell was taken away.
However, even though his feet continued to move away, Marcell's eyes were still glued to one point, wandering around and looking at Weeby guiltily. The saliva Marcell had swallowed with difficulty was so thick that, from a distance like this, Weeby even looked very pitying.
Marcell didn't know what kind of excuse he would come up with to deny Erza's question later. Surely his best friend would ask about Weeby's condition.
After his vision no longer caught Weeby's figure, Marcell immediately looked away, looking at his girlfriend, who was still walking hurriedly with a serious look on her face, Marcell didn't want to talk at this time, and when he asked Resti where she was taking him, it seemed Marcell didn't want to know either. He had just been exhaling harshly and deeply.
"What if something happens to Weeby later?" asked Marcell. Even though there was no distance from the girl, Marcell was still thinking about it.
"Marcell, Weeby's not here, why are you even thinking about a girl like her? There's only me here, and you dare to ask like that," snorted Resti, who didn't like what Marcell had said a few seconds ago. When she heard the word "Weeby" come from Marcell's lips, it was enough to make Resti's jealous soul tremble.
Only a heavy sigh escaped his nostrils, Marcell intending not to utter any more words.
"Now you don't have to say anything anymore, just follow me, okay?"
Nodding weakly, Marcell said yes. Although it was difficult, he could not be rude to Resti, who was now his girlfriend.
"Shall we go to the park?"
Marcell looked up, asking Resti because now they were both there, Marcell looked at Resti full of question marks, one of which was why his girlfriend had brought him to that place.
Resti nodded enthusiastically, her smile spread so perfectly that it almost looked torn. Resti walked back with long strides, followed by Marcell from behind. Resti was still holding Marcell's arm firmly, inevitably dragging him along too.
"Marcell, let's sit down."
Marcell nodded clumsily, his reverie was instantly broken. Swiftly, he landed his butt right next to Resti, who had previously been patted twice by the girl, Resti interrupted Marcell to sit there immediately.
After taking the most comfortable position possible, Marcell didn't immediately turn to look at Resti, his brain was exploring how Weeby was doing now—was she okay?
Marcell was enveloped in a deep feeling of anxiety, and thinking about it made his heart rage even more.
"Marcell, why are you so quiet? I'm right next to you if you forget," Resti said as she touched Marcell's palm, soon grasping it tightly. Now, the two teenagers' fingers are intertwined. Only Resti grips it firmly, while Marcell just relaxes, letting Resti do whatever she wants, which she's happy to do.
Marcell only turned his head after three seconds of Resti's words echoing in the air, and then he smiled faintly, not as brightly as usual. Resti pursed her lips as she lazily rolled her eyes, Marcell was very different from his usual self, and in Resti's mind, this was all because of Weeby, the culprit, because of him, her boyfriend had become like this.
"Marcell, do you love me?" The question came out of nowhere, Resti just wanted to ask, but also wanted to hear Marcell's response.
"Why do you even ask that?" Marcell's eyebrows immediately shot up.
"Just answer it, it's not hard, right?"
"You already know the answer, so I don't need to answer your question."
After saying that, Marcell went back to daydreaming. One thing made Resti's emotions rise again.
Resti smacked her lips, then chose to forget about it. Resti was not in the mood to argue with Marcell.
Then, the entrance bell signaled that all students had to return to their respective classes immediately, and so did the two teenagers who were now lingering in the back garden. Without realizing it, they had been sitting there for too long.
"Have you come in yet? I feel like the bell just rang," Resti chirped, then looked at Marcell, shortly after which her breath sounded irritated because again and again Resti found Marcell daydreaming. Resti was one hundred percent sure that Marcell's mind was on Weeby.
"Marcell, let's go back to class, it's already on." Resti emphasized her words, hoping that Marcell would wake up soon.
As expected, Marcell blinked, "Let's go." he said briefly, then got up from his seat and immediately waltzed away, not looking back to see that Resti was still sitting on the park bench.
Resti pauses, not for any real reason, just to see if Marcell is going to turn around and come to her, but as soon as she does, her face turns somber, and she clucks steadily, Marcell doesn't even turn around. How outrageous.
Inevitably, with her heart getting heavier and heavier, Resti lifted her butt off the wooden chair and quickly caught up with Marcell, who seemed to have shrunk in her view.
Resti had no intention of running and balancing her pace with Marcell's, instead, she chose to walk at a slower pace. For Resti, it was useless to chase if Marcell's mind kept going somewhere. At the park, Resti had been holding back her anger because Marcell only replied briefly when she asked questions. Resti continued to chatter, while Marcell only listened, and even then Resti still doubted whether Marcell really had his ear to the ground when she told him stories.
The classroom door was in sight, Marcell immediately entered, before, he had regulated his breathing.
"Cell, where's Weeby? Didn't I tell you to lead her here? Then, you haven't come back for a long time."
Erza immediately attacked Marcell with a barrage of questions, which Marcell also expected.
"Weeby fainted, her face was pale. So I took her back to the school medical room again," Marcell said, then he immediately walked away from Erza and went to his seat.
"Okay, fine, then." Erza gave a thumbs up, to which Marcell only responded with a brief smile while nodding his head.
"Great bro, now this is the new Marcell I know, helping others and admitting his mistakes." Another thumbs up was also in the air, this time from Novan. The boy was smiling so wide.
Who would have thought, Novan's words just now really touched his heart? In fact, what his best friend said just now was quite the opposite. Now Marcell regretted leaving Weeby there.
"MARCELL, WHY ARE YOU SO HARD?!" Uti shouted in a discordant tone of voice, her tears escaping. Out of nowhere suddenly the girl who had become Weeby's best friend was near him, not only that, but Uti also repeatedly hit Marcell's shoulder, along with Novan and Erza, who immediately turned their heads towards the source of the sound.
Marcell tried to block it out, but Uti looked like a man possessed by a demon—so strong that Marcell stayed silent. Letting Uti vent his frustrations on him. Marcell already knew what Uti meant, and Marcell also didn't wonder why Uti was crying like that.
"I heard your conversation with Erza that you wanted to help Weeby get back to class, but." Uti could not hold back her sobs, she finished her sentence as a clear liquid just escaped again from her eyes, Erza and Novan were stunned, digesting Utu's words more deeply, "but why did you even leave Weeby when she fainted, I also can't understand, why you left Weeby there, do you realize that what you did was very cruel? If you were ashamed to bring Weeby to class, you should have brought her back to the school medical room, not on the floor like that."
Uti cupped her face, not wanting everyone to see her tears falling. Her classmates' eyes continued to stare at Uti with confused expressions, as they listened to what was happening. Although they had not been friends for long, Uti was very happy to be around Weeby. Weeby was very kind to her.
"You're bad Marcell, that's really fucking bad, I didn't expect you to do that. I know you and Weeby fight a lot. But, don't you have any compassion at all?" Uti's voice was trembling even more, but not as much as Marcell's heart, which was racing even faster. "Don't you have a heart?"
Uti chose to step back, still in a sad state, and then she sat down on her stool again. Marcell looked with shaded eyes at Uti, now the chubby girl was laying her head on the table.
After Uti's departure, Marcell was not immediately free, in fact, Erza and Novan were already staring at him with sharp, razor-sharp eyes.
"I heard from Uti's words that she couldn't have lied, seeing that girl cry like that was inevitable. Do you want to explain it to me?"
Marcell sighed, lifting his head up, and then eye contact was established so sharply between him and Erza. Marcell was only able to do that, the rest of the time he locked his mouth tightly. Giving Erza a chance to speak up.
"Are you silent? I don't think you can answer. Why are you doing this? WHY?" Erza was already ignited, his emotions were already churning at the top of his head, ready to launch and give a big explosion. His burly hands then gripped the collar of Marcell's uniform firmly.
"What did I tell you to do, huh? I told you to help Weeby go to class because she has a bad leg. Even if she fainted earlier, you should have put her back on the gurney in the school medical room, you don't just put her anywhere. Do you think Weeby's stuff?" Erza spoke loudly again, this time right in front of Marcell's face, his hands still lingering on the collar of Marcell's uniform.
