"By, I love you."
Don't know how many sentences Weeby could hear from Marcell's lips. It felt like Weeby's ears heard it very often. Even so, she could never reject it. Instead, Weeby smiled so widely.
She looked at the boy, who was smiling sympathetically beside her, and then, without embarrassment, Weeby leaned her head on Marcell's shoulder. The boy even let Weeby lean there, occasionally Marcell's burly hand stroked Weeby's hair and rubbed her thin cheeks.
Weeby often got small attention like this. Weeby liked Marcell's caring attitude.
"I also love you, Marcell, don't keep saying that. I'm embarrassed to hear it," Weeby said as she patted Marcell's cheek with excitement.
"Sorry then."
"Sorry why? It's not wrong if you love me, just prove it with the treatment you give. You don't have to say it all the time, can you?"
Marcell nodded in agreement. He smiled happily. This was more than anything. Ever since he had been dating Resti, Marcell had never felt this happy.
"I also want to apologize if I can't be romantic like other couples." Marcell looked down languidly, and then his breathing sounded rough from his nostrils.
"I don't need romance, all I need is protection from you, and that's enough. I love you more than anything, Cell." With a voice that sounded sincere, Weeby's hand then moved nimbly on Marcell's cheek. The boy couldn't help but smile, his heart was warmed by that.
This afternoon was the most beautiful afternoon, according to both of them. The tinge of light from the sun had become a witness to their togetherness. The universe seemed to allow the two of them to be together and complement each other.
"By, do you think I'm weird?" asked Marcell a few moments later.
Weeby immediately raised her head, which was originally resting on Marcell's shoulder, and her gaze focused on Marcell's eyeballs. Feeling still confused, Weeby frowned. Marcell's question was ambiguous and unclear.
"What's strange?" She stared at Marcell's face in surprise. Weeby couldn't move on from there.
"I used to hurt you a lot, making you angry and upset. I knew that you would be hurt, but I didn't want to stop doing that to you. It's just weird that you're suddenly my girlfriend."
Marcell immediately lowered his head, the feeling of embarrassment was already starting to come from outside. However, the smile on his lips wouldn't go away.
Weeby was already panicking, but after Marcell's words slipped out, Weeby breathed a sigh of relief.
"It's not strange, it's only natural, I'm the same. I don't know when I liked you. But even though you're annoying, you're also fun," Weeby said softly, then she blushed at her own answer.
"Now I want to promise not to be nosy anymore," Marcell said, sounding so serious that it made Weeby dumbfounded for a moment.
There was no way Marcell would change, he had already said something similar. But what? In fact, that boy was still being nosy. Not wanting to fight anymore, Weeby chose to nod twice, she just agreed to Marcell's words.
Weeby actually didn't need Marcell to clarify the sentence that had just been said; she just needed reassurance with his behavior. No need to express it verbally if, in fact, it hasn't changed.
"Whatever you want, the most important thing is to get it." Weeby paused her sentence, her eyes looking at Marcell for a moment, then she exhaled along with her head, which began to move closer to Marcell's ear, "Now you are my boyfriend," she said softly, right on Marcell's earlobe.
After successfully saying such a thing, Weeby immediately lowered her face, her smile again engraved, this time even wider.
Dumbfounded for a moment, Marcell looked at Weeby with a straight look as the butterfly syndrome began to arrive and fly in his stomach, his heart warmed up, his heart beat more than the normal human limit in general, and his cheeks also heated up, I don't know what kind of words are fitting and appropriate to describe the feelings that are attacking Marcell, but that boy feels like the only creature on earth who gets an abundance of joy.
After that, the two teenagers looked at each other, Marcell looked at Weeby with dilated pupils, while Weeby looked at Marcell with sparkling eyes. Both of them were holding back the turmoil of their hearts, which were beating crazy.
Weeby then gave up, she couldn't stand it anymore. This very second she broke the eye contact, her eyes turned in any direction, and she didn't want Marcell to see the red tinge on her cheeks, Weeby felt her cheeks were already heating up.
"Weeby," called Marcell, his voice was barely audible, if Weeby's hearing was not sharp, it was certain that Marcell's voice had evaporated and mixed with the surrounding air.
Immediately, Weeby turned her head shyly and looked at Marcell with a clumsy look, Marcell looked twice as handsome with a pair of lips corners pulled up, Weeby was too scared if she continued to look at that boy's face, she didn't want her heart to be dislodged from its place, let alone faint. No way!
"Yes, what's wrong?" asked Weeby. She cleared her throat briefly, trying to get rid of the nervousness and awkwardness that suddenly attacked her regardless of place and time. Then, her hand moved to take a pinch of her hair and place it on her earlobe.
"Do you see that bird?" Marcell pointed towards the sky, but his gaze did not move from Weeby's beautiful face.
Weeby quickly focused her eyes on the sky. A few seconds later, her forehead was wavy, the tail of her eyes swept upwards, and she was even more confused because there was nothing up there but wisps of clouds and a tinge of sky that began to change color from yellow to reddish-orange.
Feeling confused, Weeby immediately turned her face to look at Marcell, she needed clarity about Marcell's earlier words. However, before her face had turned perfectly, Weeby jumped in surprise because she got an unexpected surprise from Marcell.
Weeby's chest immediately moved up and down, her blood rustled gently, and for some reason she felt millions of butterflies begin to spread and tickle her stomach area. One peck that landed on her cheek had changed everything about Weeby, her heart could not be controlled anymore; it was too crazy that Weeby could not prevent it. And because she was too embarrassed, she chose to bow her head silently while exhaling as hard as she could, the air supply in her lungs running low.
Beside her, the boy chuckled a little. His hand then immediately stretched out and fell on Weeby's chin, and Marcell immediately lifted it up until the exposure of Weeby's face with her delicate eyelashes could be carefully examined by Marcell. He smiled again, and while Weeby looked at him awkwardly, her cheeks still felt hot.
"I don't want to lose you, for now, this very second, or someday, you promise not to leave me, right?"
In response, Weeby nodded weakly, she actually didn't really understand, and hearing Marcell's question, Weeby just said yes. She had been thinking about Marcell's kiss earlier, it was too sudden, and Weeby couldn't just get rid of it.
"Do you want me to kiss you again?"
The question sounded very clear, and a second later, Weeby immediately looked at Marcell intently, her eyes balled up while her mouth was slightly open. Weeby really wanted to answer, but somehow her tongue was too stiff and numb, and the words that were stuck on the tip of her tongue could not be released.
"If you don't answer, then the answer is yes."
Two seconds after that sentence slipped out freely, Marcell immediately brought his face closer to Weeby, with the distance created remaining less than five centimeters, Weeby, who was surprised, immediately closed her eyes as fast as lightning. And the next second, she felt a thin touch on her lips. Weeby did not dare to open her eyes; she was still too scared.
Marcell also closed his eyes, his lips seemed to be seen creating up and down movements, Weeby also dissolved in this game, balancing the subtle movements that Marcell made, both of them loved each other, too afraid if they lost one of the others.
