The figure spat out lava-like fire on both of them. Yu Yuan quickly morphed into a Dragon,coating Dwayne with her skin. The flames poured on them,instantly destroying every thing in the room.
Despite that,the flames dug deep into the ground,burning every obstacle that stood on its path.
She let go of Dwayne and faced the Hellhound which seemed to be different. It was huge,red and had extremely dangerous Aura.
"What the hell do you want?" She asked, shielding Dwayne with her body.
"Nice one Dragon. Bring the Dragon's soul powers and I'll leave" it replied,standing on both feet.
She smirked,facing Dwayne who had already staggered up.
"What do you think?" She asked
"Not a chance" he replied and immediately speared the Hellhound.
Upon contact,his skin burned,making him howl in pain.
He got up,rubbing the burnt part of his skin.
"You wouldn't want to try that with a Hellhound again" Yu Yuan remarked.
The Hellhound rushed towards her,releasing five fireballs in her direction. She absorbed all then released it through her mouth with a force that threw it out of the house.
She looked at Dwayne who stared at the bracelet.
"Don't think too much lover boy. No one is taking it from you" she encouraged,jolting him out of his thoughts.
He smiled,nodding his head in affirmation.
They both ran out,landing right before the respawning Hellhound.
"Any last words?" Dwayne asked,kissing his right fist.
"Go to hell" it replied,dashing towards them.
Dwayne jumped,evading its attack,he landed behind it,spreading his arms.
Yu Yuan half transformed into a Dragon,hitting the Hellhound backwards with her tail. As it flew backwards,Dwayne grabbed it,delivering a German Suplex.
The impact shattered the ground and Dwayne immediately let go,not wanting to be burnt again.
Yu Yuan quickly roared flames on it. Though she knew it wasn't hot enough,she expected it to slow it down.
"What weakens these things?" He asked.
"Ice. Ice from a Dragon or a god" she replied,stammering
"Why are you acting weird?" He asked,noticing her weird movements.
"I…I…I…I have been poisoned. He's about to use me as a pawn. Run Dwayne" she slowly said before falling on the floor.
He quickly held her and looked into her eyes which were now pitch black.
"I'm sorry. I promise to bring you back" he said. A tear dropped from his eye and it froze instantly.
He got up and glared at the Hellhound which now stood,smirking.
"What did you do to her?" He asked.
"Wrong question. It's what did we do to her?" The latter asked,shocking Dwayne.
"What do you mean?" He asked in shock.
"It's simple. You messed things up. You were just weak and useless,you couldn't even endure fire yet you host the Dragon's Soul. Your fear cost her and now she's gone .Her soul has been taken by a Soul eater and there's no remedy for that" it replied.
The reply shocked Dwayne as he broke down in tears.
"Crying won't help anything. All I need you to do is to give me its powers. When that is done,I'll help you return her soul" it sounded.
Dwayne paused,looking at the lifeless Yu Yuan. He placed his palm on his wrist about to take the bracelet off. Before doing that,he took one last look at her then at the bracelet.
He shut his eyes and breathed in,then out. He had made his decision.
"I'll give it to you…If I'm dead" he said and smirked.
The Hellhound,surprised by Dwayne's sudden courage,smirked.
"Die? Then so be it" it stated and left.
"Easy" he sighed.
Immediately,he heard a growl. Another sounded again,then another.
He looked around and realized he was surrounded by Hellhounds.
"This is bad…"

All gathered at Alpha Alfred's mansion, prepared to face any threat that existed.
While the teenagers were doing their things,the adults still conversed,hoping to find a way to end the impending danger.
Just then,Sharon covered her ears with her palm. The same also happened to Christine and Evelyn who also shut their eyes.
"What's happening?" Abel asked,worried.
"Nothing. They'll be fine" Alpha Alfred assured.
They calmed down,now normal.
"What happened?" Abel asked,embracing his Mother.
"Hell has been let loose. Soul eaters are roaming in the city while there are... HELLHOUNDS roaming destroying things in Kansas" Evelyn said.
"HELLHOUNDS?" Every one gasped in shock. If there were hellhounds around,there was no chance of stopping them.
For minutes,they kept quiet, contemplating on what to do.
"It seems the plan has to change" Abel voiced.
"Are you nuts?" They all asked,flaring at him.
"We need to stop the Hellhounds. If they get here, we'll all be dead" he replied.
"So what's your new plan?" Darak asked.
"Darak. You're a creature of hell. You,me,Alpha Alfred,Lanre and Osborne would fight the Hellhounds while the rest stay behind to stop the Soul eaters"
"Are you dumb? You might be the Multibreed but you're not all powerful" he replied.
"It's the only chance we've got. If I go,there's a probability I'll absorb the Hellhounds abilities and match them. Also,Darak is the most powerful amongst us,he can stop the Hellhounds too" Abel explained
"But Lanre had the experience of fighting Soul eaters. Why does he have to follow you?" Drake asked,stepping forward.
"He's also powerful. If he helps fighting the Hellhounds,things would be easier but you guys can take on the soul eaters. All they need are flames" he replied.
"You guys have to leave now,they're destroying more things" Sharon stated,opening her shut eyes.
"Dear God" Christine gasped.
"What is it mom?" Sharon inquired.
"I just read the news. 3 million people have died worldwide. There is a universal lockdown everywhere except for Antarctica" she explained.
"Wait…Did you just say Antarctica?" Lanre asked.
"Yes…Why did you ask?"
"Let's go guys…I think I know what to do"……

Screams of agony filled the air as Soldiers fought the Hellhounds with passion.
They kept shooting the beasts who continued to destroy things,burning everything that came in their paths.
Changing position,the Commander issued an air assault and 5 fighfer jets swooped in, dropping missiles on them.
The soldiers also reinforced this, shooting missiles and throwing grenades at the Hellhounds.
Explosions occured,bursting dark smoke in the dark of the night.
Hopefully,the Hellhounds had exploded into bits,meaning they were killed by the explosions.
"It's a success" the commander stated,and the soldiers jubilated,happy they had eliminated the beasts.
Their joy was cut short as they began to drop dead…Soul eaters.
The soul eaters kept consuming their souls,sucking their life forces out of them.
Some soldiers had escaped and were about to get in their truck when three huge,red Hellhounds dropped before them.
Defensively,the Soldiers threw grenades before the beasts. The grenades exploded,creating a rising stream of flames.
The soldiers immediately got into their trucks and ignited it. The driving soldier zoomed off,hoping to survive.
The truck hadn't moved past three feet when a Hellhound grabbed it from behind,smashing it on the floor.
Of all ten Soldiers,only two crawled out alive.
Even though they survived,they were confronted by the three Hellhounds who towered above them.
"Please. Don't kill us" the soldiers pleased,scared.
"Too bad I have to" the leading Hellhound replied, raising its feet,it sent it to the ground and it landed with a loud thud,causing the ground to shake.
It lifted its feet and was surprised to not find the Soldiers there.
"Looking for them?" A voice asked and they tilted their heads in its direction.
"The Multibreed" they all growled,seeing Abel who had the soldiers slumped on his shoulders.
"Welcome to America" he mocked,zooming out of the arena.
Just then,Darak landed on a Hellhound, grabbing its neck,he summersaulted,smashing it on the floor.
The other two looked in the direction,vexed. They attacked Darak but Lanre and Alpha Alfred jumped from behind,pinning them in the floor.
The Hellhound immediately heated up and they jumped off them except for Darak who still strangled his opponent.
Without warning, he brought out his sword,driving it deep into the Hellhound.
It's heartbeat stopped and it also stopped struggling,it's breathing also stopped and so was his reaction.
Darak loosened his grip and let it go.
Just then,the two remaining Hellhounds pounced on him,spitting flames in him. He easily absorbed the flames,returning the flames through his mouth with a force so strong that it threw the Hellhound backwards.
Lanre tried his Biokinetic technique but it didn't work.
"This bitch doesn't have a single drop of blood in it" he yelled in anger.
Osborne grabbed one of the fallen Hellhounds and plunged his teeth into it's neck. He extracted the liquid only to spew it out.
He quickly ran to a river,plunging his face into it. He ran back only to find the guys seriously battling the Hellhounds.
"They are filled with lava" he stated.
"Then what do we do?" Abel asked.
Darak flew backwards,concentrating his thoughts on the Hellhound.
"I've got it. Ice. Freeze the fucking Hellhounds" he yelled.
As he opened his eyes,he was surprised as the guys were a down.
He flared,attacking the beasts. Minutes passed and none got the best of the other.
He suddenly zoomed,slashing the Hellhounds with intensity. The Hellhounds were subdued but not ready to give up. Still,Darak got the best of them and 'Bam'. An explosion of Vervain occured,sending Darak into an unconscious state.
Doom has been let out.
They are unable to stop three Hellhounds. How would they end an entire race of Hellhounds?
