Villain's Rising

Villain's Rising is an action novel chronicling a henchman's descent into villainy, fueled by unrequited love. In a future where superpowers are scarce, Sam has always served as the devoted henchman, not to a hero, but to Kiara, his childhood crush. Kiara is a consistently unsuccessful supervillain, and Sam’s loyalty is driven by a fervent desire to remain by her side. His romantic feelings, however, obscure his judgment, even as Kiara's attention begins to wander. Her focus shifts to Starboy, Anthony Willburn, the esteemed son of the world's most powerful superhero. Starboy is also the primary reason for Kiara's repeated failures. This situation becomes unbearable for Sam. The notion that Kiara would develop feelings for the individual who has consistently undermined her aspirations, and who embodies everything Sam opposes, is too much to bear.
