The rain started at exactly 5:00 Am.
Small water droplets bump into bigger ones. Dropping pitter-patter on houses, melting roofs, breaking chimneys, and burning people's skins. Lightning and thunderstorms didn't stop. They follow through buggering with death, bellowing and melting people into bones.
The werewolves in the Alleys swiftly move, moving people to safety because the rain was only injuring them with only those sustaining severe injuries dying. They move humans into bunkers, knocking off bunkhouses, making sure workers and planters are safe.
Some people panicked and ran out of the bunkers. The rain melts them as they run shouting and boiling like hell before they die.
What on Earth is this?
The driving rain yanked off walls of houses, crumbling stairways, killing people in its progress. Clattering and roaring and thumping and throbbing, then blasting everywhere.
Alpha and the pack ran ahead covering with their hairs the women, children, and old folks. They moved swiftly like with the speed of light. The rain raining in bucket now. People dying like confetti.
Alpha and the other got to the bunkers closer to the bower. Samuel led them there in his wolf form too. He was bitten when he was a child but was able to heal despite that death beaconed. He moved swift groaning for them to move out quickly. They have more humans to pick and the rain is burning them too.
Alpha led the pack through again, Catherine saw him bleeding on the left side of his face. His eyes reddened as they met hers. He swiftly moved away. She has seen him in his wolf form. She saw him while transforming too.
The rain burned them down but It was a boon for trees, birds, animals, and plants. It stopped in the evening around 7:23 PM. It's clammy, dampish, and dank.

Alpha and his pack couldn't walk afterward. They had to be hospitalized in a makeshift hospital in their wolf and half-human forms. He turned half-human from his chest upwards and has claws on his fingers. He couldn't talk, only Damien could talk.

I've been lonely like the little girl I saw in a bistro when I was a kid. She sat just like me now on a mat thinking about what I don't know. I think I'm at that point too, thinking what I don't know. I'm lonely, alone in a box of my own.
That old woman died without getting to know her. I don't think we can find her burnt bones again even though we placed her in a morgue. Sarah has not gotten anywhere with her forensic analysis of the impact on her head.
I have to visit her bower if the rain hasn't washed it away. At the same time, I hope Elvira is fine. She sent a letter apologizing that she wants to come back.
I don't know what to do. What should I do?
I should play Benjamin Clementine's Cornerstone again.

I am alone in a box of stone
When all is said and done
As the wind blows to the east from the west
Unto this bed, my tears have their solemn rest
I am lonely, alone in a box of stone
They claim to love me but they're all lying
I've been lonely alone in a box of my own
And this is the place, I now belong
It's my home, home, home, home home home home home
It's my home, home, home, home home home home home
It wasn't easy getting used to this
I used to scream
It's not true, that it's only when the door is locked
That nobody enters
'Cause mine had been open till your demise
But none had come, well who am I
What have I done, what have I done?
I've been lonely, alone in a box of my own
They claim to be near me but they're all lying, it's not true
I've been lonely alone in a box of my own
And this is the place, I now belong
It's my home, home, home, home home home home home
It's my home, home, home, home home home home home
Friends, I have met
Lovers have slept and wept
Promises to stay had never been kept
This bare truth of which most won't share
I hope you share
'Cause I have been lonely
Alone in a box of my own
They claim to love me and be near me
But they are all lying
I have been lonely, alone in a box of stone
And this is the place I know I belong
It's my home, home, home, home home home home home
It's my home, home, home, home home home home home

The piano in the music, the strong voice, continued playing in her head, in the streets, in the Allies amongst the dead, the burnt, and those in the hospitals.
She smiled and closed her eyes.
Her heart quivers a little, she walks downhill. Benjamin Clementine's Quiver A Little is playing in the clouds, in the scanty houses, in the roughshod mounts of the rainstorm, and the emptiness beyond.
"Listen," she whispered.
***
Talk to me friend, talk to me, talk to me
I am listening to your advice
Slowly, slowly, please, slowly
We have a lot of time
Sometimes I would wish, would wish
That you were I
To see clearly, not just
Visualize
Many people said
Oh I'm lost, I'm a bastard
Oh I'm lost
Those same people pray
For the best, for their own brothers
So why would I quiver but quiver a little
Then burst in laughter
Quiver a little
Read all the books and you will find
Nothing new has been hidden underneath the sun
Integrity is sometimes hard to climb
But if I look up, not down, and maybe who knows
I might go a bit further up there, further up there
Many people will say
Oh you're lost
You are a bastard, you're lost
And those same people pray
For the best, for their own sisters
And so I will only just quiver a little
Then burst in laughter
Oh, life is as cold not literally as in Greenland
Where snowfall is the norm
As opposed to the ray of sunlight
But, like a boy who woke up one night
To see his poor mother on the floor
And he screamed "Mother, mother wake up
Wake up, mother!"
So why would you waste a lot of your energy
On what, what people might say
Just quiver a little
Then burst in laughter
Just quiver a little
Quiver a little
Quiver a little
Then burst into laughter
Quiver a little
Then burst into laughter
Quiver a little
And get back to your stride

She went back towards the makeshift houses, they started accepting refugees. She smiled and glanced at Sarah not knowing how to express her melancholy but in Clementine's songs. She sat down beside Sarah and gave her one of the ear pods.
"Listen. This is a song about it."
"What?"
"Listen."

Gone
Song by Benjamin Clementine
I remember walking by the A406
Holding bags of mother-sent cornflakes
Guessing somebody might have noticed
A little boy big head small ears
Whilst making a ballad through a Sunday mist
Sure we've all been there, done it
Prepare a little time to reminisce
On all that eventually falls into nothingness
Oh, all will be gone
After all
Before we all get to the knowing
All will be gone
I went back to where life seemed promising at first
Gambling on memory's lane
I tried a trip through all the pavements and fields
But I lost 'cause all had changed
Like the road I use to cross to school
Is now full of prostitutes
No wonder why the priest is dead
No wonder why the priest is dead
Oh brother when did you get married?
Neighbors where did you vanish to?
If it was to a wonderland
Well it's not known to my kind, mankind
All will be gone
After all
Before we all get to the knowing
All will be gone
And what about relationships?
What is it about relationships that we don't get?
Here we are always thinking we've learned
Only to get smacked and realize we are but mere students of life
And feels like
We've been fighting a lost battle
To have always realized at the end of it all
It feels like
We've been brought to a royal banquet
Just to be served a brew and a wretched floor
But I say
It doesn't matter
All because am here now and it's too late to go back anyways
And so I will get it all going
Whilst it all gets lost and gone
