The convoy of cars arrived and for the second time in the sons of twenty four hours I'm back at
the place that is meant to be my home. But this time as my twin sister.
I needed a drink, but I wasn't sure prisoners got that privilege so I did the next best thing, folded my hand across my chest, unfortunately for me no biceps flexed but I was able to sulk just as well. With or with out muscles.
We entered in to the room which was now empty and I could hear everything replay in my head. I fought so hard to keep the tears from my eyes. It took every thing I had in me but it worked.
The annoying Alpha male picked up the staff that represents leader ship from its spot at the throne.
And toyed with it for a bit before banging it twice sharply against the marble floors as he moved around.
"People of the Guero gang."
He said in a loud strong voice
He hit it twice again.
"Your mighty King has fallen."
He banged it twice.
"Your precious princess is right here next to me as my captive. "
Bang bang.
He walked to me and took a strand of my hair in his hands.
"Perhaps I will turn her to my whore." Before he could complete his smirk, I had slapped him on the face. Twice. Both cheeks. I guess I was quite fast when provoked.
His men were also fast though.
They caught both my hands and held me as a struggler right before I could land the third blow.
"Retain me, put my father in coma, kill my people. But you will not speak of me to my people in such derogatory manner." I yell at him trying to fight off the guards all to no avail.
"Your people? Tsk, tsk... He clicked his tongue, raised his both hands horizontally and in doing so the staff dropped.
"Hiding with their tails tucked between their shirts even as their princess defends them. Is this what your father has thought them?"
I caught a glimpse of white powder on the floor scattered around us.
I shook off Alpha Male's security off me went to the one nearest to me and smeared it on my finger tips.
I walked to him and put my hand in front of his face.
"Do you know what this is? Or your high and mighty majesty doesn't know everything? No? Shocking."
I said with dramatic sarcasm.
"We have scientists among us, you know. It is a recent weapon we have been working on. It is called the powder of death. All one needs to do is light a match and where ever the powder is, however small, it will go up in green flames."
Please God, I know I'm not always good girl but please, let him believe me. If not I'm screwed.
"Your point?" He asked with no expression on his face.
His men were already visibly tensed.
"If you check around you, it is all over the place. The only thing holding them back is my presence here. What do you think will happen if I give the order to strike? My people are hiding yes. But in fear? No. My people are ready for war."
"You're bluffing."
Shit. I couldn't let my panic show though.
"Does anyone smoke here?"
"No one?" I said when no one responded.
"Pity, I wanted to borrow a lighter and put my 'bluff' to test."
I walked to the staff and picked it up.
"Life for life. You may have won this battle. But the war is still coming. Now get the bloody hell out of my territory. Alpha"
I said the last word mockingly.
Third person POV
Yes she had done despicable things which he hated her for. But in that moment his wolf couldn't help but feel pride at the sight of his mate standing up for her pack.
He was tempted to call her bluff bit he didn't.
He signaled to his mem to retreat and stayed behind.
"If you are truly going to be the one to lead this gang. It would sink even faster than I thought.
"Because I'm a woman?"
"Because you're a bitch Elvira."
She smiled but it didn't reach her eyes.
"You know my name, I don't know yours."
"Why not stick to the one you already started with."
"Such an obvious display of testosterone, Alpha."
Dear lord the way she called him Alpha just made him want to turn her over and spank her till her ass was a pretty shade of pink.
But even if he turned her ass red it still wouldn't make up for her detestable behavior.
"You are very much indebted to me. Thread carefully."
He said and left.
His beta came up to him as he entered his chambers.
"Has the matter been resolved then?"
He asked.
"Life for a life."
Aiden muttered while sighing some paperwork.
"And you let the gang be. They no longer had a leader. I was under the impression that you were going to take over. You know as you normally do,"
"The man had a daughter. "
"A daughter?"
"I assure you she is capable."
"Doesn't answer my questions though."
"And since when did I answer to you?"
"Woah.... take it easy I'll come back when I have questions that doesn't involve a pretty girl."
He stood up from his chair and sighed as he walked to the window.
"I heard about the whole white powder shit. Don't tell me you actually fell for that."
"Her gang stays free."
"Since when do you forgive murderers"
"She's my mate."

"The same Elvira whose name I hate to hear. Yes, she is my mate and also very much human so I can't even reject her without spilling some secrets that are most definitely not for her to hear." he practically hissed out the words.
"Well, fuck."
His beta's words had never been more accurate.
